Very beginner here, does that mean row number 7 will be exactly like row 1?
The only thing that really changes is the slipstitches
So you'll need to repeat 10-10 then 5-5 then again 10-10, 5-5... Until you reach the size that you want

I love this hat! But I am so pleased I watched the tutorial to the end before attempting to make it . Maybe a few discrepancies between what you are physically doing and the written words? So I have a few questions.
It says 3.5mm hook, you show a 4.5mm?
You show doing sc at the end of rows 2, 4 and 6 but it says back loop only in all sc?
Should it be repeat rows 1-6 so the top is not so dense, or do you repeat rows 3-6 to keep the pattern constant? Thanks in advance for your help.

i have a doubt at the end of 3rd row i did 5 slip nots and started 4th row so do i have to do the same in my 9th and 15th row and so on becoz u said to continue row 1 to 6 again

Hello! Thank you for sharing :) I'm a beginner at this and I have a very silly question. I keep having to re-do the first row because every I do it I somehow end up with one less stitch :( I've tried to go slow and count as I go but I keep missing one. Do you have any advice for me to prevent this? I'm skipping the first stitch when starting row one. Do I add a new stick somewhere to make up for that? Please let me know if you can. Thank you!
Make the chain 49 Instead of 48. As you proceed you'll have even numbers. Hope I'm not too late 😊😅
It's easy to miss count the foundation row, that the change, count maybe 20 than u use a marker, like that u won't miss calculate
You might have sorted your problem by now, but if not, are you doing 1 chain stitch at the end of your finished row? 3:05
I got the same problem.
I would do 10 slip stitch and then 1 chain, and do ten back.
the problem was the tenth stitch I ended with would actually be the first for the second row once i added the chain.
So Im doing 10 slip stich, 1 chain and turn, the 9 slipstitch, so the next row isnt offset.
for the next row, i do 5 slipstitch, 1 chain and turn, then go back on top with four.

I'm a beginner and i finish the beanie in like 3 days if i work on it for a few hours a day, just because I'm slower than someone who's used to crocheting, so give it 5 days just to be sure if you're a beginner like me

So for the slip stitches it starts off as 10-10-5-5-10-10 then it says to repeat so does it then go 10-10-5-5-10-10-10-10-5-5 and so on or 10-10-5-5-10-10-5-5ect
I thought that too! I have just commented a couple of questions. I think perhaps by repeating rows 1-6 the top will not be so dense, but I was considering doing repeats of rows 3-6? I will wait and see before making this.

Most likely, your tension is too tight! Try to loosen your tension and see if that helps! ❤
