I love the hats so much, I've made many of them. However, I feel your timeline is very misleading. You say this hat can be made in 10 to 20 minutes. I am an expert crocheter who has been making baby items for more than 30 years and I can tell you it has never taken me less than 2 hours and 15 minutes to make the 0 to 3 month hat and that doesn't include the balls at the top of the hat. Whomever can make this hat in 10 minutes, without some kind of machine, is a miracle worker.Thank you for your very detailed and close-up video instructions. I enjoy them.

This tutorial is the best I keep coming back to this beanie. It's so easy and it feels like a hug to head! I just tweaked it a little bit, instead of chaining in the beginning I use foundation stich, it's more flexible and it counts as single stich row.

That’s what the hospital near me does. When my son was born they were giving out these super cute crochet baby hats for newborns. Only thing is our baby’s head was way bigger then the hats they made. I still have it with his newborn stuff because it’s such a wonder reminder 🥰. He’s 2 now. I’m hoping to make some as well.
