Love this. It has swagger, good specs and good heritage..I have a 7 1/2 inch wrists but I have gigantic hands so this is perfect. Anything smaller than 42 on me look stupid

I like the watch because as an actual diver I need a backup to my computer the larger dial makes it easier to see through a dive mask

Wish the GSAR 41 would come with this non 24 hr dial. Much more clean!
Great vid. I have a 7.25" wrist and a JDD. The face of the JDD isn't large at all and doesn't take up much real estate on the wrist.
people always go by the size of the wrist which is actually incorrect. It's the size of the forearm that makes watches like this proportionate.
I’m a 6.75 wrist. But I like a watch with ‘presence’. Costs a bit. Time to start saving.

Haha it sure it is. The 36 or 41 mm is for my small wrists.
The small part of my wrist is 7.25 , normally wear a 710 Vostok, it's thick but seems small. Thought the gsar would be it but the dial looks good on this.
I bought the marathon LGP (JSAR) in 2012. I didn't know they made a true automatic version. I would have bought that instead. Look the same. a true survival watch needs to not depend on a battery. 1 EMP and my watch is trash. dead battery in the field. you ain't replacing it. Other than this, is there another reasonably price True automatic watch you would recommend?
Hey Teddy, I've got a 7 1/2" wrist size and this I believe should work well. I've tried emailing and live chat to ask some questions but no luck. Maybe here will work. How long have you had the watch in inventory? I ask simply for the tritium lifespan. Does the factory rubber strap accompany the watch? Being the steel bracelet is an upgrade. Thank you sir.

44mm its where it should be , a lot of people pass on this one because of its big for no reason measurements including me

You should look at the original Flieger watches, they were issued in 55mm ;)

Military watch company has a few with c3 luminous paint and tritium gtls (mb-microtec), the same Swiss manufacturer used in marathon.

Is there a faster way to change the day on the watch?
@@Unknownn858 Unscrew the crown. Pull to the 1st position. Rotate one direction to adjust the day, the other direction for the day. Best to do when the movement is between 3 and 9 o’clock.

I’m pretty sure the pip on the bezel uses Marathon’s Maraglo rather than Seiko Super Luminova. It’s a little thing but still a thing.
Waaaay too big for me, I definitely prefer that 36mm model, but this is yet another rad watch from Marathon. Great job in covering these offerings!
