She is a terrible witness and I have no idea why she thought it was a good idea to testify! She comes across entitled, rude, arrogant, argumentative, un-likable and lacking remorse! This testimony was the nail in her coffin imo

How can she ever say that he was the aggressor when he was inside the car? Let’s say he was trying to grab her with one hand and pull her in first of all she’s like twice his size. We are talking about a 62-year-old man with diabetes. This huge girl was in danger of this tiny man who is inside of a car, tried to pull her in with one hand? She looks like a linebacker. All she had to do was move back. There was no reason to draw the gun, of course if you draw a gun on someone they’re going to try to push it away cause they don’t wanna get shot

My family was racist, but my friends (even as a child 3-9) were of many different races. No matter how one is raised; they can still make their own choices. Obviously that would be foolish to follow in call cases, because there's a lot more to weigh than just the possibility you can get 1 juror to side with you. The main factor is whether the facts are on your side. If they aren't, then you have to look at what the terms of the deal the prosecutor is offering. If there's little difference between that and the likely penalty for being found guilty at trial, then that often provides a lot of incentive to plead guilty, and that happens every day.

No way she can talk herself outof this i would've just thrown myself to mercy of the court, and hoped for the best, because either way she's going to prison

She's still in denial. A life sentence is a bitter pill to swallow, but a guilty plea would've helped in the long run. Remorse and contrition are important.

Hannah was defiant, unremorseful and apparently clueless the rest of her life was literally tied to this testimony.
In a heartbeat, 30 years became 43 years.
Hope she thinks it was worth it. 😳
