7.3 Powerstroke P1280 Electrical Issues When Hot FIX

- After chasing an intermittent electrical issue related to the ICP sensor and the alternator regulator on this truck, I finally found the wiring harness above the driver side valve cover rubbed through, causing the ICP and alternator regulator circuits to short to ground intermittently.

Congratulations!! that one deserves a "That a boyha" got to love a chaffy wire find.. A real who done it? They Also draped the wiring over the top of the top of the shock on the drivers side... cause a dead pedal in the Rain...oh yeah find that one in the dark in a rage!

I have a high delta on #8 and a misfire after reman injectors. So I swapped it with my old injector, and now I have a high delta and misfire on #3, but not number #8. Any ideas?
Changes the injector cups because of fuel in the coolant reservoir. Replaced the injectors as preventative maintenance thing, nothing but trouble since.
I have a question on a electric trailer brake system 2013 F350 how does the tbc know if it’s a single ( two brake ) or double (4 brake ) trailer connected
If I remove the magnets on one axle a message comes up trailer disconnected I’m curious how the truck knows if it’s a double or single axle trailer connected

It could also be partly worn motor mounts that is causing the motor to torque upwards. The truck does have a ton of miles on it so they’re probably due for replacement.

That's the problem I have with my 1996 f250 with 7.3. My harness route's differently
The owner is lucky that could have cought fire would be my first thought be sides lack of power my 99 doge ram wheel chair van 1500 just had a water pump replaced 900 bucks from the dealership but it's fixed running good 64 thousand miles on it now 55 when I got it new tires and battery in 20 20 got it in 20 16

Swear to Christ!......Really wish I would've found your video before I ripped apart all the loom on the engine and replaced the icp sensor also. Thank you. Any idea why my scanner will not pull up my vin on 2003 350 7.3 ?
