Not the most eloquently put....PDP is a diminished version of DW.
I actually think PDP doesn't get the respect they deserve.

You nailed it. "Diminish: make (someone or something) seem less impressive or valuable." Not a great choice to describe your product line. "Hey everyone, I have a brand new diminished PDP set, yay!"

Any chance of rebirthing the BOA springless pedal.. It is the only pedal I use.. I am surprised that it didn't catch on or that others have not experimented with the concept.. BTW.. all my stands are PDP.. Love the kits.. Great video TY

So the foot board flexes? I'm curious how that would feel under my feet.

@@totigerus It feels like playing on a cloud.. Yes it's like a springboard.. you can slightly adjust the length for tension.. Perhaps not for everybody but I am still amazed that it didn't catch on.

"We at DW wanted to create a cheaper version of DW but didn't want to name it DW so PDP was born !"
Shit... steer clear of PDP !
So we call it 'entry level' drums (LOL)
Top quality kits have FIVE lugs on their bass drums no matter the size of the bass drum. PDP only has FOUR

You mean 10 lugs per side vs 8 lugs per side, correct? Or are you guys getting even less hardware than US? And yes, all of this is simple economics. You're not likely to find any kits in this price range with 10 lugs per side on the bass drum. Does it really matter other than being able to say that your bass drum has more lugs than your friends'? I'd say it's a personal thing, but I don't find it to be that big of a deal when tuning. Still able to get great sound out of 8 lug bass drums. At least the snare has 10 lugs....again, if that type of thing matters to you!

@@bgnPrinceton .... No... I meant TWENTY lugs, 10 front and 10 at the rear... DUH.... Look... I decided to be kind to you and ignore your comment. Ciao.

Still don't understand PDP. DW is getting too big for their britches and absorbing too many other brands. Lame. And completely MAD in the business-world. Almost NEVER turns out well. DW..... expanding its balloon...and expanding... and....... POP! Unsustainable, and bad for the entire drum industry.
