  • Dry facial brushing is a great way to gently exfoliate skin, stimulate blood vessels and get more oxygen flowing within your face. Not only will this stimulate cell renewal, it also boosts the production of lipids and collagen. When you stimulate your skin this way, it opens pores and allows toxins to be released. This lessens the burden for your lymph nodes and really helps you to cleanse inside and out. It's incredibly relaxing too. Start with the neck, use gentle upward sweeping motions up your face, and finish on your neck. This is great for all skin types except for those with sensitive skin. If you have open sores then dry facial brushing is not advised. Always use a soft brush specific for facial brushing and start gently. This is a routine that you can do once or twice a week. Always start with dry skin and then after your facial brushing apply a hyaluronic acid or gently facial oil or moisturiser.
