Ice Cold grape soda, the cheap supermarket brands we use to drink during the summer at a family cookout when I was a kid. Ahhhhhhh the memories! I can smell the summer air! I remember my Gramps 67 Plymouth Belvidere, the uncles, aunts, cousins, and family friends who were still alive and would attend. The men after dark in the backyard drinking beer and liquor and telling stories about Korea and Vietnam (my dad was the latter, USMC) around the grill, while we kids ran around out front. Where was I? Oh! enjoying this video on this old truck! LOL These revivals you do and grape soda of course, bring back memories. Keep up the good work!
I will also remember the Taco Hood ride. Funniest thing ever when you got out to close it and it hit the ice infront of the car. I could not stop laughing. Well done Mortske and Duff. What a good episode. 😆👍
You outdone yourself there, son. I seen you do sketchy, but this takes it to NOT a whole new level, but something WAYYYYY above that. No bed in the tray, half a rear fender, tree still embedded between cab and tray (well, at least it gives you something solid to bolt the tray to), holes in the floor, doors that won't latch, no clutch, bluetooth brakes, waterpump that only pumps water out of the engine, hood that plays peek-a-boo when you hit 30mph.... Best part of that whole rig has gotta be that slant 6. Didn't even have to tart up the carb and she ran! ....and that CHAMP of a starter that gave everything it could after you woke it up - it should have been given an award. Poor old box sounded pretty dry in gear - especially on over-run....but she still did the job, so there must be a tablespoon of oil or so left in there. Great video, Mortske. Enjoyed seeing her come back to life and laughed along when you went for a blast in the beast. Nearly fell off my chair when the hood came off, but even more so when I realised that Duff had bailed before YOU did and then didn't want to stay in the cab when you wanted to get moving again! That dog surely has a sense of comic timing - and I know that Spaniels in particular have a very warped and ironic sense of humour. My family bred Springers, Cockers and Irish Waters for generations and a more loyal yet independent thinker (at least as far as what they want to do goes) with such an expressive face is a hard thing to find. You make a good team. Just a pity he's no good at manual labour and prefers to supervise with both eyes closed. I suppose that's a good thing in some ways, though! Hey Mortske & Duff. I have to say that was one of your best videos. No one can accuse you of scripting anything. I agree that ride will be remembered. Duff definitely approved especially when you stopped and opened the door. Exit stage right. Stuff to chase. I blew up so many clutches in my 69 SS396 4 speed Chevelle in high school and beyond I aced driving without the clutch. Until next time. Have a great week.
Thanks much Bob!
That was an award winner, Dodge tough video!!, I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes, and then the hood comes flying up, that was awesome !!!!!!!.
Wild ride!
Love the ride. A ride to remember for sure. Did not think it would run much less drive. Proved me wrong which was great..
You and me both!
When you was driving and that hood came up, then you went to put it down and it fell to the ground, I almost thought I was watching Zip Ties and Bias Plies. Man that was so funny I spit up my pop. LOL keep up the great work and God Bless you and your family. 🔥💯💪🏼👍👍🙏🙏✌😁✌
Thanks much Mike! Glad you enjoyed it!
Still LOVING all your insert-edits. That's some funny shit.
Glad you enjoy them Doug!
Love the new Duff Cam you have recently installed. Keep it up Mortske!! Rawhides for Duffaluppagus!
Awesome! Thank you!
Thanks Mortske, I needed a good laugh today. One of the best test drives ever.
Glad to hear it!
Wowwwww 🤣🤣🤣
Duff was impressed w/you overhead-pressing that hood over the bed edge 🤣🤣🤣
Mortske Monday! With Duff Cam! This one was an adventure… thank you for sharing!
Our pleasure!
Great job Duff spotting that battery!
""I love me some good grape soda!" Mortske, we can be friends! I love me some good grape soda too.
Good times!
found your content through puddin and I've been burning through videos. im learning so much thank you for taking the time to film your life.
Welcome aboard!
For now on you can only buy rigs duff can safely inspect. He is the only reason we watch your videos to be honest.
He's the only reason anyone watches
Ole Duff thought you were walking and got a head start.
Good Stuff right here.
He has little faith!
Hey sweetie! MamaCard here the 77 year old lady from Florida! Sending you ❤️ love! And Duff Dog too!
Thanks Carole!
Less slobber on the tools for one thing. All the best!
Glad you enjoyed it Mr. Hill!
Enjoying the Hammers again, it is easier to find in town now, love it.
You facial expressions when things explode are awesome!! I'll be sure to take a snip and use in a future vid of my own...lol. This is one of the best vids yet!!!!
Thanks much!
Been great watching the channel grow Mortske! So hard to kill those old trucks!
Thanks for watching!
I absolutely love this truck! Even though it needs a lot of love, I can see it being a great project. Glad to see someone scooped it up and it will get another chance at life.
This episode is "Best of Mortske" material for sure. Effin hilarious! Good wholesome fun!
It really is!
I Vz watched this video again. When you asked the wiring,, “ do I need to hit you with a hammer?” I cracked up.
Having many hoopties in my day this is my favorite episode. The drive had me dying 🤣🤣
OH, MY SIDES ARE KILLING ME...Duff bailed out and hood blows off (obviously due to insane speeds!)...and Duff, with his safety co-pilot training, "blows his ejection seat and hits the proverbial silk...SO FUNNY, then the body work - PRICELESS!!!! You and he are the BEST !!!!!!
Thanks much Mark!
Mortske, you really took that test drive like a champ!
Just taking it all in stride...
This video is one of my favorites you've made, I actually laughed til my eyes watered when that hood came up
Glad you enjoyed it
