- Oh yeah baby! The day has finally come! After all the research, hours of videos, digging through specs, comparing models and more... TODAY I PICKED UP THE NEW 2019 POLARIS RANGER XP NORTHSTAR Cab model UTV! Join me for the excitement and drama (Yes, we have some drama going on! LOL) and see how this day unfolds! This Polaris Ranger XP 1000 is simply an amazing machine and I think my timing was impeccable (or just lucky) in that in 2019 Polaris completely remodeled the new XP 1000 edition with all new frame, suspension, and features compared to the 2018 models. Lets take a look at the machine, have some fun, a little drag race on the way home Ford vs. Chevy, and then a totally unexpected, soap opera type ending of the video! LMAO. This stuff is just plain fun! Great vid. Just picked up my new 2020 Polaris Ranger 10002 weeks ago. Ordered a lot of accessories for it, Warn Axon winch, roof, and bumper. It’s amazing how fast things add up.

I had the Polaris xp1000 and went with the honda pioneer 1000eps. Glad I did. My buddies have polaris machines and they always were breaking down.

sweet ride both of them loved the EcoBoost. I love what you're doing I'm very jealous I bought two ATVs Polaris etx Sportsman's and we're enjoying them now while we're able in up North Wisconsin here and I like that you're enjoying it now and when you retire you can say I did it all and you are in good shape. Retirements coming and you'll have it all paid for and you can sit back and relax.
Does the front bumper and led light bars come standard? Does the radio and Touch screen com standard with the northstar aswell?
Kapper something to look into is that using the winch to tire down the Ranger is not a good idea. This is because when using it as a tie down there is a shock load being applied to just a couple of the “teeth” on the internal gears as the winch rope stretches and then relaxes or the suspension flexes whereas when the winch is being used how it’s designed there is only a steady force being applied to the teeth for just a small fraction of time as it pulls in.

Love my Polaris. Nice looking machine. They mounted that rear led way to high. First thing you will rip off.

I ordered a 2021 northstar ultimate and it just came in. I go pick it up on Thursday. I just hope the Ac works and the cab keeps the dust out. I know the 2017 northstar was kinda crappy on the cab deal and dust still got in quite a bit.
Good luck! I can't speak to the dust as I really have not ridden in dusty conditions yet, but the AC works great, we've had it out in high humidity and heat with no problems.
The new frame, suspension, whatever - were new on the 3 seater version (what you got) in 2018, not 19. The crew version was on the older chassis in 18, and got the updates in 19. Add the camo roof for a better look.
So I guess mrs. Capper who have a key of her own you're such a nice guy

That’s cool, nice little Polaris. Sorry, but it looks like a little baby compared to my Polaris Ranger Crew, Sears 5 and longer bed. They are both great machines.

I never owned a Polaris Ranger so I guess I am at a loss. Why is one wheel drive better than two-wheel drive? looks like turning the direction opposing the wheel with no power would be difficult. The only one wheel drive 4 wheeled vehicle I ever drove was my friend's go-kart when I was a kid. and It was terrible. I got the 2WD variant.
Beautiful machine. I got my Polaris ranger back in 2013 0 miles and I love it I wouldn't change it for any other side by side. Beautiful truck I had a 2015 Ford f150 the sport edition twin turbo. Don't have it anymore I really miss it.

They are like $30k. You can get a nice pickup truck for a little more (with a/c).
not sure he really understood the difference between an open diff, slip diff, locked diff. I'm wondering myself if the middle position is a limited slip or locked diff[?]
The middle is locked diff, turf mode is like your truck in 2wd.
A/C???? One wheel drive is nice. My dad's is posi 2 wheel and tears up everything he rides on. Everything about it is cool!
