  • Join us for a full UTV Review on our 2019 Polaris Ranger XP1000 Northstar edition full review. We have had this Polaris Ranger for just about a full year now and have put it to use out on our farms, as well as some trail riding fun, some UTV mudding and a few obstacles to test out some of is limitations. We'll go through all of the Polaris Ranger options that I ordered for specific reasons, how they have worked out and whether or not they were worth the extra cash. From the extra heavy duty Maxxis 6 ply UTV tires, to the glass windshield, tip out windshield, and more we'll cover it! Also some great trail riding experiences, as well as a near tipping incident that I needed the wireless UTV winch to save my butt on an unknown trail riding adventure. The heat and air conditioning was a real big factor in my selection for this particular Polaris Ranger model. Oh, and before I forget, you can check out our POLARIS RANGER PLAYLIST HERE:
    • FIRST RIDE 2019 POLARI...
Between them both, this UTV allows you to get outside more often with the heat and A/C in the fully enclosed cab of the Polaris Northstar unit than you otherwise might have. We paid full price for this machine with our own hard earned cash, and we are not some organization that gets these machines for free to review! This is real world stuff here after paying a lot of cash for this Polaris Ranger! Watch how we've put it to use pulling a heavy drag for making food plots, a heavy cultipacker for finishing soil preparation and food plot planting, as well as a heavy duty trailer to haul things around the property. We also use this machine to finish gravel work on our mile long gravel driveway with a heavy, weighted drag to smoothen out the gravel. Overall, after a year this thing has performed very well and as far as the overheating recall Polaris has treated us well in getting it taken care of. If you enjoy our content please hit the Like button, subscribe to follow all of our adventures and share this video to help us grow our UA-cam audience, thank you! Thanks for the review Kapper. My Honda finally died about 6 months ago after 32 years. Just bought myself a new Polaris 570 Sportsman last week. It has some nice add -on's like tire/rim kit and plow etc.Was thinking of you while sitting there because 5 ft away a Ranger Northstar 1000 in the show room. Had to check it out. Very nice machine. Was funny when the salesman came back and was looking for me.I had got up and I was in the cab checking it out and cranked the radio up. He gave it his all to sell it. This one had a ice fishing hut on the back.!!

I do like that XP1000, Kap. You're right about the cab. Having cold AC and hot jams to listen to while cruising is what it's made for, ha. Don't know how weather is there but we're getting hammered with rain and thunder at the moment. Later

Joe I found something out about the Bobcat Track Skid Loader you can get a remote control for it and operate it remotely you could operate it from the cab of your Polaris Ranger and not have to have the pucker factor and If Mrs. Kapper has ever flown the drone you could get some great footage and if you were to trade it in the remote works on the T450 to the T870 also keeping you from being trapped if the main and emergency exit get blocked by a tree limb

I took a look at your rear bumper kit. Not sure it would work with the rear camera? They tuck that dang thing way up in there, so it looks like the bumper might block it. But I like the idea of a rear bumper. Holler back if you have any new Polaris products that might work! We Does the bumper kit interfere with the hitch at all? @jtraveny 4 роки тому

@@kapperoutdoors it might just be a warning light of some kind, a way to test the active decent control is put it in low gear and in full awd and as you go down a somewhat steap hill that you know is safe for you, try having the throttle closed and just let the engine braking do its thing and see if that light comes on. if it comes on and the braking works, that light tells you its active. it does not come on and the braking still works, then its a warning light telling you there is something wrong.

I have that same exact machine. Biggest POS I have ever owned. It’s been in the shop more that 50% of its life. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER POLARIS!!!!!!

Sorry to hear that. All machines have issues from time to time, hopefully yours gets ironed out soon! There is a lot of new stuff on this machine and electronics to boot! Good luck!

@@kapperoutdoors it’s just been one thing after another since it was new. I did send in ECU to get tuned and flashed. Should get it back next week. Upgrading clutch also.

A little bit yes. Not enough for me to haul it back in for warranty work. Next service I will mention it to them. But just a few drops, not like anything extreme. Thanks

@@kapperoutdoors I just seen alot of reviews on the northstars with complaints on leaks seems to me it should be an easy fix....I would hate to spend that much on a machine for it to leak....all your videos great btw
