God bless you my friend you answer my question in 46 seconds 🙆🏻♂️
Thanks for this, has confirmed my pump is ok.
OH-MY-GOD-THANK-YOU!!!!!!! That kind of videos are the reasons for YT existence :). You are golden, my man!!! Thank you!
Thank you so much! Will be buying a replacement.
Thanks for this video, answered my question exactly
Awesome! Thanks for the video.
Thanks for this video. It help me out a lot .
Awesome glad I can be of service
Mine did all that and still didn't work. I ordered a new pump and then decided to tear the old one apart. If you pry up the fan blade part with a tiny screw driver, it will just pop out...it's magnetically held in place. Mine was filled with gunk. If I had known you can just pop the blades out and clean it, it would have saved me 50 bucks.
Awesome 👏 thanks 🙏 you’ve just saved me money 👍🏻
Thank you sir!!!! :)
Thank you I will try this!
Nice teaching
Wow thanks beats the purpose of looking how to test with a multimeter. Now i know the problem.
Awesome explanation!
Thank you!
Thank you! You just saved me £50
Thanks a lot!
Thank you so much!
Your awesome!!!
Quick question regarding pump I have Samsung front loader with a dual motors. Changed out drain motor but had it tested and was told that the circulation motor may be out. Call the parts guy parts guy says those rarely go out. But I did check it out it’s doing exactly what you’re showing in your video? Can you give me any type of advice about that?
Thanks 🙏
Should the shaft extend and move out about a 1/2”?
Man, so much respect for a video that is short and to the point. Thank you. What resistance should my pump show? I’m getting “7.2”, whatever that means.
I'm also curious - my pump gives me resistance reading of about 160 Ohms, and I don't know if that is OK. Anyone...? :)
Well shit that was simple thank you I’m sitting here trying to figure out how to use this multimeter to figure it out
My top loader is a Whirlpool(WTW4915ew1) and it will not drain, it makes a spinning noise (louder than the non spinning electrical hum), and i check pipes for bent and blockages. after removing the pump it exhibit similar behavior as your broken pump here.
Should i assume that my top loader uses a similar pump to your front loader?
What if it's somewhere in between the two cases you mentioned?
Thank you! How do you check if the pump is getting voltage?
A volt meter should be useful
Thanks
Pump fan blade is separated during spinning and machine stop working .i manually attached it and machine worked well but after two or three spin it again separate what should i can do
My pump feels correct, but the plastic impeller hub has a piece of black plastic showing through it. Hard to explain without a picture. It sounds very bad when it drains. Do you know what caused this?
Hi. I have a husqvarna (electrolux) and the drain pump part for me is part number 140180051033. I took mine out (water was leaking / not draining), and it spins freely like in the "bad pump" not with a snap/magnetic effect. Is this 100% sure to be broken? Could newer pumps have different ways for this mechanism as I read somewhere only some pumps do this snapping/resistance like movement. Just want to check before forking out for a new one!
Fascinating... in my case, my drain pump works in pre-wash and wash cycles and refuses to pump out after rinse cycle. Frustrating.
What could it be it seams work but no spinning
Mine do both
ohm resistance???
❗My pump had 'bouncing action', and rotated when connected to the power. Nonetheless, replacing it fixed my washing machine pump issues. The new pump was significantly bouncier, however :). Btw: Similarly to @Darold, I was able to fix my pump by opening and cleaning it.
It's no good if the seal, for some reason, isn't sealing
Mine got a lot of heat and humming
Not quite, just pop out the case and clean the gunks inside.
Yes that would be the basic solution to clean the filter. But if pump gets damaged this video teaches how to test and replace the pump
Thats not true for all pumps ..
The motors with 3 windings rotate with "No" Flipping .. as you suggest ..
