Hi Chad from Sydney Australia. I am really enjoying your tutorials and the tips and tricks. This is a lovely design that I'm looking forward to making!
Very nice Chad!!!! You help me immensely!! Lovely work. Ive just started silversmithing within a year and went with argentium. So far, so good as I don't know any better. Do you know??
I've honestly never tried Argentium. I'm always tempted to buy a little to try it, but it's on the bottom of my shopping list:). I know some folks love it. One of my close friends tried it, and struggled with soldering when using it. What is your experience with it Robboback?
@@chadssilversmithing Chad I'm the guy who uses argentium. I have no trouble soldering it. But, I haven't soldered sterling!! I've been tempted to get sterling but worry about fire scale!!! I've had a long life of soldering and welding/brazing. It's no problem to make sure the metal is clean with the right flux. (I've soldered and brazed without flux!!!) But everything was super clean. Try argentium some time just for the heck of it. I'm buying sterling! How do you like the hike in silver prices? Are they going to take silver away from us like they did with gold!!!?
Amazing work Chad! I am new as a jeweler, and learning from your videos really helps me grow fast. Thank you!
You’re welcome Bing:). Glad I can be a part of your learning process!
Thank you Chad for the awesome design and instructions!! I’ve wanted to make this type of ring for awhile-you make it look so easy!!
Thanks Carol! It was a good challenge. I wasn’t sure how it would turn out, but I am pleased:)

So, so pretty! Love it. ❤
Thanks WaterMarbler!
Looks great!
Thank you Beauford!
The filigree design on the sides looks like a face with a mustache, like the tree man carvings
Hehe! I noticed that too after I was done:)

I really like this! If you had a round stone, would you make the band the same way?
Hello Nosmalltalk:). It would be very much the same, although I think it would have to have a downward curve on the top of each side.
