I really miss Woolworths. We have been in Woolloongabba, Brisbane for 6 months and Woolworths is my Go-To hypermarket. Now we're back in Dubai and I could only hope we can come back to Australia soon.
This is one of my fav things to buy in a bakery but always disappointed because they're not seasoned well. Now I can make em at home. Yum tysm for sharing.
Chill out. No one said this was authentic Greek cuisine. The recipe made it clear that you could use whatever you have in your fridge, and even that you could use puff pastry if that’s what you have to hand. This was meant to be a convenient cook. It’s also Australian, and Aussies have a long history of adapting the dishes of our immigrant communities. To the point where bastardisations of other cultures are a part of our culture. Besides, even the Greeks will add silver beet and leek to spanakopita, so who cares. I guarantee it tastes good.
Tom, I'm of greek heritage. To me, it's the same as our ancestors, they foraged for greens to make what ever they could to feed people. Same in the modern kitchen. Food is ever evolving. Embrace the change if you can, better still reteach the old methods if you are so passionate. 😀
True that i live in rural vic Echuca and my god it’s like living hell in Woolworths.u cannot social distance too many people in there a lot em with bitchy attitudes when u tell them to social distance and they do not look at signs so many almost bump into u as u leave the store I had to swing my bag around so I was social distancing
@avi fx no... These are completely different. 1. you'll never find a traditional samosa with spinach and ricotta in it. 2. Samosa doesn't use filo/ puff pastry 3. Samosa is deep fried not baked
ralesh kumar There are different types of Samosas, the version you are mentioning is Indian one. In Middle East they use all three items you have mentioned.
Your bringing in digital payment only in 3 stores as a trial. Sorry woolies but Cash is legal tender. You can't do this. Every person will be forced to pay with card. There will be no reason for service staff. Tens of thousands will lose thier jobs. This isn't about making it easy. It's about mass sackings of staff to make more money.
@John K that's happening right now using chips in Mobile phones. I think it's a bit of a worry if you have an Apple phone. The devil's forbidden fruit my friend
No Bermuda triangle here - just little morsels of deliciousness! Perfect for a night on the couch, I might never get up!

Emil Chandran silverbeet is spinach traditionally used in spanakopita not baby spinach
Emil Chandran I agree, Emil. Us Greeks are, both, passionate and proud beings who need reminding of that every now and then haha.

I love the intention of this video but I nearly screamed when you said kale. Definitely not mine or Greece’s go to spanakopita filling 😂
I love the way Aussies try and pronounce feta and spanakopita

This isent how the real Greek Spanikopita is made.
@vawies if someone said they were giving you something and it ends up completely different from what they said, would you relax?
If you’re going to come up some kind of “new pie” and “throw anything into it”, please don’t call it as original that’s NOTHING like original! 🤯😡
spanakopita triangle is just called triropita
Thought tiropita was with cheese filling only...
Yes Tiropita cheese filling only spanagopita spinach filling
Uh these are not Spanis, these are kale triangles
