They have to have a specific diagnosis to meet criteria for claiming insanity. Bipolar meets that criteria....so does schizophrenia and certain delusional disorders.

I anticipated her answers to all of these questions correctly. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that these are precisely the answers one should give when one wants to give the impression of being mentally unstable. Nobody should ever be given those direct questions when they're being assessed for a court case and hoping for an insanity or mentally unstable plea.
This doctor stated she wouldn't be able to tell if she had done something wrong to every single question....bar one...and that was when she hid in the drain, did she know that was wrong...YES 🙄
I understand now. My sister onset of schizophrenia began around same age and she was very spontaneously violent. My parents and I were always her target. Not a easy road for all involved. Nobody asks to be that way. It’s a serious illness. If my sister did this, I’d fight to keep her out of jail and to lock her up in a mental health facility.
I did some checking during another trial where an insanity plea was put forward and it stated that insanity pleas are rarely successful. I think this must be a formality under the umbrella of ‘trying every avenue’ by her lawyer to lighten any possible sentence.

Throwing everything away at 14
Wow... her neck is REALLY flexible!
Not the first daughter to kill her mother.... The home video showing her hiding the gun, texting from her Mom's phone to her Stepdad..... she's very calculating.
His opinions based on her self reporting.
You are not supposed to diagnose bipolar disorder before age 18, so this is BS
Bipolar is the diagnosis de jour! I'm over it! She knew right from wrong because she ran.
Exactly
AND, she showed her friend her Mom's body. What, is it like showing off her trophy?!?!? Like she's PROUD!!!
Are we all depressed 60% of the time with our work ?
Just figured out who she reminds me of. REDRUM ! REDRUM ! Our boy, Tony.
Yes, you’re right! That’s it!
Yeah I thought it was Danny from the Shining.
Yes!
YESSSS!!!!
Tony was the name of the voice in Danny's head.
So you leave loaded guns lieing about a house with teenagers with mental health issues issues makes sense eh
Exactly. She doesn't have mental health issues. I think she is out of control entitled.
@@Suzie-he9ni a take it you no her personally ?? or are you just making assumptions and rolling with it a think it’s pretty clear she has mental health issues but if you want make assumptions with nothing to back it up feel free to
@@Suzie-he9ni yes me too.
Her mom kept a loaded gun under her mattress in case carly,s father came around she was scared of him..little did she know her daughter was just as crazy as him if not more..maybe she tried to kill them both so she could blame her dad..
@@annebosworth7048 did you make all that up in your head or do you no her personally
Is that the bipolar test? All she had to do was answer yes for all of them and amazingly she was diagnosed with bipolar. 😂😂
The way her stepdad described her you would have thought she would have had a similar look to the Jack Nicholson character in the film This Shining when he breaks through the door but she looked calm and in control of her actions minutes before killing her mother.
There are plenty, i might say millions, of people who would answer those questions the same way and none of us have murdered anyone.
Yep just what i said 💁
He’s trying his best to answer the questions as-a-matter of-factly hahaha
Was she self reported all of that did she. How convenient for her defense. 🙄
No excuse for what she did. She was fully aware of her intentions.
Roseanne, “this is why some animals eat their young “.
Have you ever seen a unicorn? Yes! 😊😂
I’m not sure how this justifies her killing her mother and the behavior she displayed on day of killing
They have to have a specific diagnosis to meet criteria for claiming insanity. Bipolar meets that criteria....so does schizophrenia and certain delusional disorders.
One word to describe her, MANIPULATIVE!!
I think this kid is smart enough that she knew what to say to the doctor to make her look like she's crazy to get off. She was just wanting to do what every she wanted to do.
My non-experience and my non-expertise tells me that she’s a psychopath
Well, you are right, because you are wrong
I sent my child to Ms state hospital and even was at STF in MS.....it helped her so much Im so grateful for these to places in Ms. She has children and is so much better.
Psychiatrist is goof.
Typical.
They're so easily fooled.
Regardless the outcome nobody is safe, she hid the gun also thought it was fun to exhibit her poor mothers dead body, she is evil. Anne from Scotland
So she's enlisted in the Navy?
This doctor stated she wouldn't be able to tell if she had done something wrong to every single question....bar one...and that was when she hid in the drain, did she know that was wrong...YES 🙄
I understand now. My sister onset of schizophrenia began around same age and she was very spontaneously violent. My parents and I were always her target. Not a easy road for all involved. Nobody asks to be that way. It’s a serious illness. If my sister did this, I’d fight to keep her out of jail and to lock her up in a mental health facility.
That's fair! Keep her safe.❤
It's very hard on all the family when a child has mental health issues.
Carly is not your your sister though. She is perfectly sane.. and cunning.
I did some checking during another trial where an insanity plea was put forward and it stated that insanity pleas are rarely successful. I think this must be a formality under the umbrella of ‘trying every avenue’ by her lawyer to lighten any possible sentence.
THIS guy is exactly why I hate and distrust psychiatry. Give the perp a way to NOT take responsibility for their actions and blame the victim. Well done, sir. WELL DONE.
She's listening so intensely and taking dwn notes 😂Dressing her so conservative, we know what you did weirdo!!!!
Okay.... but what was her motive? Its completely abnormal to randomly kill a birth parent without motive. So 🤷🏼♀️?? She was either mentally traumatized independant of outside circumstances or she was traumatized by either her mother, step father or birth father.
She's playing the system. We know she's guilty and should do life in prison.
Part of the problem are these suicidal songs played on the radio.
It is disgusting that in today's court system and trials the defendants now claim whatever mental illness seems to "fit"....as a "reason" for these horrific crimes. It is a despicable INSULT to persons suffering from genuine mental health issues. (and attorneys have jumped on this insulting "band wagon" as well....)
Her parents weren’t as lovely as I first thought she was constantly being. told she end up like her sick father that would explain to me why she was so angry at her mum
I'm in that state from birth, never thought about taking out my mom, and I got busted by her for a lot worst crap than that. I answered yes to all of them.
Also, didnt carly go back and shoot her mother again, when she heard her calling for help? She knew what she was doing. Her mother...😢
Lock her away
Self inflicted zits to make here look even younger 😂 The jury won't fall for it 😉👍
My face looks that way from skin picking, courtesy of my lovely anxiety disorder.
@@CheshireCat-w5s I agree, my daughter does this too when her anxiety is bad. She picks her skin till it bleeds :(
@@CheshireCat-w5s Hers isn't! Her 'disorder' is 'I'm on trial for mrdr feel sorry for little ol' sailor gal' me! 😉
And the basis for that conclusion is...what?
In 20 minutes the defence will have her with huge oversized round swirly lolly to go with that 'I am 7' sailor gabardine top they got her wearing 😂
Flagged problem = it was born
My sister was predispositioned and it comes out when they’re at an age of responsibility and stress.
She hid her severe signs and thoughts to her therapist and to all that were there to help ! All she cared about was having her way and self control. Would grow up to terrorize soo many ! 😢😮
Puberty was very unkind to Carley, she went from cute kid to homely, murderous teen.
Absolutely no way she would answer these questions the way she needed to answer them so he would think she is mentally unstable. She is psychotic, not bipolar.
She is a manipulator. Many with borderline personalities are manipulators. They play people.
I think her stepfather is creepy. Something seems very off about him? This girl is a psycho but I wonder what was going on in that family?
Tenían cámaras , bien podría haber material importante que haya pasado entre ellos .
Algo no cuadra
Carly is still young. It's not unusual for someone with BPD to be initially diagnosed with Bi polar, especially given her age. In time, she may very well be given multiple diagnoses.
Comorbidity
Yea, cold blooded murderer.
Sounds more like Borderline PD to me. I see everyone judging her, which is very fair, but I want to know if someone in her family did stuff to her.
She is not 18, you cannot have a legal diagnosis of bi polar til then.
Legally insane but sound enough in mind to understand and complete a diagnostic evaluation 🤔
I think she did her research on mental health and tried to provide herself with the insanity plea. Too planned out
