It’s one thing to forgive and maybe be there with phone calls to jail and such, but the gushing with “I love you”, the CONSTANT smiles, and such, are WAAAAY over the top! I think if there was even a little evidence of stepdad being abusive or involved, the defense would have taken full advantage of it for the trial. Instead, they’re trying to argue undiagnosed mental illness which, after after seeing the video evidence of her killing the mom, is not convincing at all.

Not everyone who kills is a sociopath. That's actually a pretty rare diagnosis and it's actually called Antisocial personality disorder. Doctors do not use terms like sociopath and psychopath anymore as a diagnosis.
A gun between the mattress is not a secure place for kids not to have access. Her mother feared her daughter had mental illness then why was the gun not secure? This is horrible.
I have said this in other videos but my siblings and I were raised by a state trooper and his gunbelt lay in the open everyday and no one dared touch it. Granted, I didn't raise my son that way but people don't teach kids the way they were once taught. And there seems to be more mental illness but we need to ask why is mental illness so widespread now. Not all of it is mental illness some of it is lack of parenting.

What kills me is that she could do the crime and want to show off the body, but she can't look at anything in court and she sits there and cries. I seriously doubt that she's 1 oz remorseful. For what she did, or she wouldn't have even thought of it in the first place. She needs to be tried as an adult and put in prison for Life I don't know about parole, but she needs help badly. There's no way she should have gotten ahold of a gun.
I know someone’s going to argue with me & that’s fine. But something seems a bit odd that the stepfather isn’t crying tears & only got grazed. Even though a friend has said Carly asked her over to look at the body. How do we know the girl isn’t in cahoots with the stepfather. And the fact he had video in the garage but loaded it to his computer. When was that video really taken. I didn’t see the video. Even when he’s on the stand he’s not crying. I’ve seen things that once they are properly investigated it’s a whole different outcome. Plus he was worried about his dogs. If something happened to my husband I certainly would have been a heck of a lot more out of control & hysterical. I wouldn’t be laying on the ground.. As he said he didn’t even feel pain so why fall down & carry on like he was injured badly. I don’t know about this one. ????!!!!
Her lawyers are filing an appeal citing "new evidence." Problem is, they can't erase the old evidence. That video hearing her mom die, watching her try to set up her stepfather to die, was absolutely haunting.

@@Mr.DerekReese It’s a strange trial from start to finish. Especially, how all of Ashley’s family seem ok she’s gone, and take up for the evil one that finished her off in the FACE with THREE bullets. It’s one thing to forgive and maybe be there with phone calls to jail and such, but the gushing with “I love you”, the CONSTANT smiles, and such, are WAAAAY over the top! It’s as bad as the trial with the girl named Sidney. Sidney’s grandmother (mother of victim) took her in to live with her during pre-trial, and the dad was the same as this one… all supportive. @@holylandfan3275 From one chatterbox to another, 🖕 them. Lol Someone's gotta fill the void of awkward silence. At least you're self aware enough to know it and own it. Anyhow, all that coddling of her only adds to her sense if entitlement and victimhood which helps her to keep cranking out those constant crocodile tears. She's probably used that crybaby strategy for years to manipulate them all. And the lack of a real motive is probably the most troubling to me. I know they had a disagreement and she was in some kind of trouble, but not to that extent. It's as if she's been looking for a reason to just do it. Yeah makes no sense.
Parent should also be held accountable…. Even though
