That was sick ! Was wondering how much that little engine would take. Time for a 4 stroke, maybe a crf 50 engine with an 88cc kit. Heaps of pitbike 125-140's around. 140's have oil coolers too.

You make it look so easy to build so I’ve went looking for one but you should put a 85cc 2 stroke motor or a 140cc 4 stroke
Yeah boy thats life mike race it break it build it! Bigger better faster hahaha love the channel mate watched all the vids but the drift kart is what brought me to the channel a few months back. My young boy seen a quad on a nature strip and they convinced me to stop it was originally a quad project until me an the boys seen your drift kart build, they have since lernt how to replace the rod piston cylinder and head plus custom build a exhaust they designed and so much more! Thanks to you mike!!!
It has to have an oil cooler just for the turbo i think it will help it getting the turbo more reliable plus a small intercooler for the engine to run better and it will look very cool imo

Rip! Ive been trying to get my 50cc mini bike turbo aswell. I think the no2 just blue the engine, so yea. Also i think a 110cc Loncin engine would be great to see as a next step up!
i think that you can put an 110/140cc 4 stroke engine, it's more resistent and durable, but if you want to be crasy, and safe some space an weight an ~140cc 2stroke .
That would be very baad

So when boostedboiz did their shopping trolly gokart they figured out that the intake also needs an expansion chamber, because it’s only one cyl you have to build the boost up into a plenium or something, I’d have to re watch the video but I recomend checking it out they got theirs fuel injected with a trigger wheel and everything running on a fueltech

What kind of work would be required to fit the motor from a bigger 4 stroke generator, or water pump or something around the 140-200cc mark? Would you need to pick up a go kart clutch with it, or do you think you can use the clutch that is already in this? I’ve wanted to do something like this for ages and to me, your videos have been sort of telling me what/what not to do.
As for your swap, since you have the money to get one, a 110cc 4 stroke from a pit bike would be pretty cool, and if you get it from a pit bike you could turn it into a tiny shifter drift cart. I’d love to see how the tiny turbo would fit on one of those.
Yoooooo Mikeyy. So i reackon you consider these big plans. Now personally i have been contemplating building my own drift kart and my plan was going to be using a 140cc race spec pitbike motor. I have a bit bike and it rips like crazy so the power plant is definetely there. My plan was to use the pitbike so that i have the engine, clutch and braking systems that would be directly transfered into kart. In you situation, you could have a much stronger rear brake that you could fabricate into a handbrake for the skids like many other guys have done with the expensive karts. You could also fabricate a sick shifter as well so that it looks and feels like one of the kit drift karts but 100% buget and personalised.
125cc semi auto motor conversion from a pitbike with electric start. (150cc if you're really wanting to party)
Grab that golden ozito zip saws battery and a 18v to 12v converter, use that to power the starter, some leds for lights and underglow.
Check out the GY6 scooter motors. The amount of customisable parts is insane. Big bore kits, carbs, you name it.
CRF50 motor would be so perfect for this little rig they’re semi auto so don’t need to worry about a clutch but they have 3 or 4 gears so you’ll be able to get good speed with the right gearing. Love the build mate I’m always waiting for new episodes I’m almost tempted to build one myself 😂

Definitely a moped motor something like a 110cc 125cc still heaps of aftermarket stuff available for them and you have to throw a little baby camshaft in it they sound so good at idle like a Harley Davison 🤙

Loving your work, so the most common swap on these lil beauts is a pedator engine or as i know them, a honda gx160. With a centrifugal clutch, same as that used on a prokart gokart. My advice from experience is to stay with an automatic gearbox, im trying to put a kx65 engine into mine and having to retrofit a rear brake pedal so i can use a clutch is a pain in the arse, so is locating the radiator.. so my advice for what its worth, is an air cooled small generator engine and turbo it. Mods for a gx160 engine are nye on limitless 😉 watching with great anticipation! 👍
For a sick drift kart it needs a sick big drift wing 🎉
Why dont you put a bigger sprocket on and maybe something for grip like a one way rolling rubber tubes on the inside of the tire for more speed

As a 125cc 4 stroke engine owner, I would recomand to you a 125cc engine with a 3+reverse gears or 4 gears, those are kinda good engines and in my country they are cheap and kinda powerful for what they are

I think you should try find somone parting out a 65cc 2 stroke keep it 2 stroke build he motor chuck on the turbo and the nos get the motor polished and ported and that should be enough to spin those wheel well enough for a drift, Love the content and always keen and waiting for new content loving these drift quad vids
The setup would have worked with the drift sleeves, without them the engine wasn't spinning as fast, didn't even sound like it was in the power band. The traction also put a greater load on the engine. It is likely that it ran lean with the nos, there didn't seem to be an rpm increase with nos, but if the sleeves had been on the engine would have at least spun faster and that would have reduced the load on the connecting rod.

I reckon you should go for a proper go-kart engine on it like carsandcameras UA-cam channel, and would have more success with a turbo application on a motor like that. Enjoying the drift kart content.

I think you need to keep it simple with a small engine. There are millions of videos turbocharged bigger engines out there, so it would continue to be exciting!!
i know it wouldn’t be practical but one or two of those small engines like the v12 toyans would be super sick to see in the cart
You need to stretch the frame and get a decent size engine … and a cool seat … glad I’ve been here for the journey of the past few years

Would love to see this doing some tandems on the car make revive track. Also though you might be able to get a moped motor for pretty cheep and they are pretty small so wouldn't be to hard to fit and you might be able to get a 5-10hp one

Why don't you try a 110cc that way you don't have to worry about gearing. My kids have 110 and i up graded one of them with race CDI, coil and spark plug and it can keep up with my 250cc so would love to see what a turbo and nitro could do to it
you should try using nitro rc stuff, it is expensive, but is so effective at making power and could benefit this, but a kill switch will not stop it as it acts like deisel

damn didn't even have the decency to give you a epic smoke show when it blew. should put a lifan 125cc pit bike motor in it at almost double the displacement it would rip add nos or a turbo (or both) and you would have a real death trap
You should throw in a clutch 125 chines motor but keep the turbo and have the clutch so you can dump the clutch and drift

Try engine from scoter like Yamaha bws 2stroke or Honda dio this engine has a lot more potential and you can find to many parts for that engine

you should try fit a 100cc motorised bike engine, then add some under glow and some headlights so you can drift it at night
Put a KTM125 2S engine on it
Put a moped engine so if you want to go faster you can always put a bigger cylinder on it. Something like a GY6 engine
Aboulutly love this build mate. Maybey you should get a crf 150 motor and put in it that would be mad any ways mate keep making your videos absolutely awesome
