Hey mbro, been a while since I've commented on a vid, the ol mental state hasn't been the greatest lately but its allgood tho, on the up and up💪😎 been loving the videos lately, conveniently me and my bros have bought and been working on 3 pitbikes to keep ourselves busy, all 125cc, if your engine number starts with 1p53 or 1p54 then it's the same as our pitbikes, me and one of the bros have done a 4th gear skids on our pitbikes so I'm fairly confident the drift kart will do a 1st gear skid without the covers on, probably even a 2nd gear too, I'd recommend upgrading carbies, the stock carb is usually a 26mm, a 28 to 30mm carb with a little port matching would help it run mint with a noticeable pull in each gear, I've got a 30mm nibbi on my pitbike and it's alot more responsive compared to the 26mm it came with, but yeah thats my little bit of knowledge 😁👍I've seen how much fun the little 50cc was to rip, can't wait to see your first reaction with the new engine, this should be good💯🔥🔥🔥
Love your passion man. Scallop your tubes to fit nicely, 1 continuous weld where possible with enough heat to fuse your material without blowing through. As you said, triangulate the steering/frame, but more importantly the rear end, after welding round bar in over your kinked tube, use plate to create a gusset on the outside of the tube and weld 20mm stitches from top and bottom corners and then centre too. Cross brace the rear end, plate the right angle section above on existing frame too, big weak spot. And lastly, love another rx2 again one day and if I win the wheel I promise it's going on.😜 New to your channel in the last few months and enjoying the content, great fun wish it was me building again. I’ll put it in my 98 323is e36 coupe !! You are one of the reasons I own my e36! One day I came across the video of you replacing the engine in your sedan in the shed next to your house! Before the car was pink and purple, and had all the graphics on it. I’ve seen many versions of e36 the version that you’ve landed on now is awesome. I love it. And I dig all the other content you put out the Dotson drift cart the Ute BMW all awesome cars keep doing what you do Mike.

just completed a CE lancer build, where i swapped in a 4g94 (2l sohc) then added a turbo after watching you and rex h do CE lancer builds and now i need to update the interior to keep up with the epicness of the new motor so a steering wheel would be a good start.
That steering wheel would go nicely in the Hillclimb Mitsubishi Verada I’m currently working on for next year! Congratulations on 50k to Mike! Killing it ❤
that's awesome but you have to pay attention to the excess fluid drain hose, it's a small hose that is behind the engine and sprays oil and petrol since you'll be mounting the seat on top, maybe lengthen it or get a fluid recovery tray

Im keen for the next few vids for this thing, coming along so nicely and is going to be a wicked little drift cart 🤌 I’d love the wheel for my AU XR6 drift build, going ham on it over the next few months to come to events in vic next year, is a standard xr6 at the moment but have made the executive decision to go full drift spec on it and cut the boot floor out and everything. Have a turbo kit to go on it as well so hopefully I get it together and manage to come bump some doors with you next year Mr Mike 🤙 Might have to start a UA-cam with the build as well if theres enough interested in watching me turn an AU XR6 into a turbo comp car 👌😅
I absolutely love this little cart especially with the engine swap because me and my dad also love to build stuff like that and we are actually on the way to build a mini cart with full suspension, a 125 ccm engine and a turbo from a smart car but we still need a steering wheel for itso i would love to see it on it
Looks good mate. But if i were you i would make alot more reinforcements, because the pipe you used is not strong. I would make as many as possible, and also make a reinforcement for the engine at the cylinder head. Just so it doesnt crack the plate its sitting on, because the power its making for that little chassy, may bend it. Keep up the good work, looks really fun!
hey mike, next time you have to bend pipes bud like that fill them up with some dry and cap the ends of the pipe, just stuff some wet newspaper in it / flatten it closed. with sand solid from end to end it wont crush and deform like that man. you may need a bit of heat also, but will come out grouse as.

Love the series, I’ve been planning to pick up one of these little pocket rocket quads for weeks but no one on Facebook replies about the ad they put out? As for the wheel, i don’t have a car at the moment but a couple of my mates and I have been thinking about getting some cheap shitbox and doing it up well enough to enter the shitbox rally in the next few years. This wheel would look amazing on something like that, it would probably be the nicest thing on the car.
