Wow! Great batrep for a fantastic game! We just played a 3-player game of Space Weirdos on the same day this video was posted. As for the Sniper Aim question: each time you Aim it increases the DT by 1 but can't go above a d12. Once you declare an attack action you can't interrupt that action to Aim again to offset any defensive or attacking penalties so the Sniper shot was at d12s but it was a miss anyway so no harm, no foul (the cover added to the defender's roll as you played it). Excellent play through and banter. Looking forward to more Space Weirdos content in the future.
Looking forward to the next weirdo batrep with command points and mabye 100-125 points. Command points add a important element of positioning, units can hold choke points with overwatch and advancing models wants to be placed so they can dodge into cover.
Glad you liked the recommend! Space Weirdos is great fun - Sword Weirdos is a wee bit more complex in character building, and you really need the 'command point' thing on to use it properly.
@@Good.Nuff.Gaming Just to clarify, I wasn't complaining cos you missed command points, just observing half the 'feel' of Sword Weirdos requires Manueuver points to be used - you'd be missing a lot to not use them in a game of Sword Weirdos, much less impact to not use them in Space Weirdos. ^^ Leaving out command points is easiest for the first couple of games.
Great game guys! I loved seeing this match and it convinced me to pick up the rulebooks for Space Weirdos and Sword Weirdos. Hopefully we'll see more Space Weirdos on the channel 😀
Love space weirdos! Use it to play Star Wars legion skirmish size games. It doesn’t seem to have a rule for falling from buildings (which you need if you use the force to move people off buildings 😂), but sword weirdos (it’s sister game) does, so I use that. Just a tip if you start using buildings/walkways in your game.
Excellent :) was wondering what that game was like. Static camera was OK except for missing dice rolls quite often. Star Wars RPG years ago used opposed damage versus toughness roles like that and produced some real swingy results :)
Abit off topic but do you know any tabletop tank gamed just my 9year old is oppressed with WWII tanks and wouldn't mind trying to play a tank game with him. Any suggestions. Thanks

Cool. Thanks for watching and answering that question.
Great job! I love this system. "We put our faith in Blast Hardcheese!"
All hail
I agree on the memorable cover art, it has that 90s indie look.
It's like the stuff you used to doodle when you should have been listening to your English teacher
Love the weirdo stuff. I have both space and sword rules.
I would love to see a paper weirdos vídeo!! Just saying 😅
@ copy that
Great batrep as always mates! BTW, at 29:30 those laughs took me back! 🤣

We talked about that off camera. It definitely would add a new dynamic when we bring them in.
Great game! The command tokens are I think are important for the dynamism of the game. I'm planning on running a wee campaign soon.
Yeah, we'll definitely bring them in next time.

It was a great game. We'll add in the command points next time.

You definitely will. We'll probably do a few more of Space Weirdos until we get the hang of it, then move on to Sword Weirdos.
the still camera looks great, zooming out a bit would be great and not rolling the dice onto mini's and terrain would be great :D
Thanks for the feedback. Work in progress.
Definitely watching the vids for Josh. 😜

Thanks for the tip. I hope to eventually try sword weirdos as well.
I thought the first team were Killer Clowns from Space 😄
I mean, it works.

More space weirdos!
Will do.
Pretty cinematic gang with all the getting knocked around
It's a cool mechanic and was lots of fun
Space weirdos! Woho!
Still camera is good.
Where did you get those models (both warbands)?
Both are GW Necromunda gangs. My is the Escher gang and josh is using Goliath.
@@Good.Nuff.Gamingi think its delaque, not escher

Tonks or World of Tanks.
I was going to say World of Tanks as well. There's also Achtung Panzer (Warlord Games) and What a Tanker (Indie game).
Thank you really appreciate it ill have to see if i can find the rules. @ET-mr4iu
@Good.Nuff.Gaming Thank you really appreciate it ill have to see if i can find the rules. I can print the models for it.
