To increase the difficulty, just start adding hydralisks earlier, add a single hydralisks (Tough 3) on turn 3 with AP1, Then a group of 2 hydralisks (tough 3) on turn 4, two groups of 2 in turn 5, two groups of 3 on turn 6. Then start increasing their wounds or replace even more small groups with bigger units. Also, try using the Advanced Terrain "Watch Tower" for the turrets. Maybe instead of shooting and moving, a troop could stand by the turret for one turn doing nothing, the next round the turret would become active and the rules for "Watch Tower" would be applied.
Cool scenario and great looking terrain and miniatures. Maybe just start the game at round 3 (for experienced players)? I do like the idea of limiting 2+ saves or units with wounds > 9 or something like that. Also, giving all the aliens Rending could be a simple solution. The best part is that the game and scenario allows tweaks like these to be adaptable to different play styles for various groups. Great video and thanks for posting.
Just think it's more likely meant to slowly overwhelm you, with chances to recover or sudden surges with the D3's. Probably feels slow as you are playing for filming :)
That's a good question. I downloaded it as one of the free missions we get each month. I think it was last year. You may have to do some digging in the Patreon posts.
@@Good.Nuff.Gaming From what I can tell, it seems Endless Swarm was one of the 'temporary missions' released for February of this year and is no longer available. I referenced this BatRep and asked them to release it again for those of us who either weren't members or didn't download it the first time. I'll reply to this comment when I get an answer.
@@Good.Nuff.Gaming OPR confirmed the mission isn't available unless you got it in Feb and they "are not currently distributing mission packs from the past. " what a bummer!
I think a cool adition could be a Treath Table, here you roll each round to generate the enemy horde from random pre selected units
Sure thing. I wanted to do a Starship Troopers aesthetic, but you could easily adapt it to something like that.
This inspires me to run a narrative campaign using a series of scenarios! This could be a really great time!
OPR comes up with lots of great scenarios. I also find it fun to think of movies that could be adapted to a game.

I thing Rending for the bugs will be the easiest solution, and stepping up the wave size early would be the a close second.
Yes! Bugs!
Just double the bugs after 2 turn
3D printer needs to go "burrr" a little more to keep up
Definitely need to tweak scenario, but that's one way.

Good point. It really does change things when you film rather than just play.
where can we find the mission in patreon? I always have a challenge finding stuff that's not in a recent post.

"For the Swarm!".
Where is Snow White?.
She doesn't appear is this one, but she'll make quite an entrance in a future batrep.
It’s a bug hunt
Indeed it is.
