IN CASE YOU ARE IN A HURRY-
1. make an organised schedule-as a person who can control his time can achieve anything
2.spaced repetions- revise the topics you learned today on the 3rd day, 5th day, 7 th day
3.depth of processing- topics which u have learned make diagrams, flowchart on your own understanding
4.find your productive space-as humans we are highly effected by our environment, our productivity varies from place to place
5.cut out your distractions- place your phone in other if possible switch of, if you have any pet put it in a different room
6.increase your motivation to study- write down things which u can tell people why you are doing this,your goals
7.build effective study habits-start by small study routine(specially in the morning) for 10min then eventually increase the time duration from 10 to 20,20 to 40, 40 to 2 hrs
8.know what to focus on-study on quality not on quantity, learn only those things which are most imp.
9.work hard- always remember hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard
10. study like a lecturer-learn things like you are going to explain it to someone
11.the loci method- make your house a study a session, associate things in your house with the topic you just learn

I'm 17 years old and I'm in sri lanka. I want to be a doctor. In some cases I am falling over and over, I think that theirs no more students who had rejected than me. But in every single moment I work hard to full fill my goal. Birds don't just fly. They also falling down.
Keep going Brother/sister , Im a lankan too , my goal is to be a data scientist , SO don't give up , keep going and going risking the luxury life ( which distracts your studies ) and oneday you will succeed

12, make sure you get enough sleep! I failed that several times. I sometimes finished studying until midnight, then I have to wake up at 5 AM. My mind can't handle the fatigue.

Isabella Tripang My pleasure! Sleeping is very important. If your body doesn't get enough sleep, your brain, your heart, and some other parts in your body won't work properly. I am a future Surgeon, so we have to spend hours and hours studying. Haha see...it is 12:18 AM and I should be sleeping right now because I have to wake up at 6. Good luck with your exams! It is finals over here and I am exhausted!
You won't have to sleep late at night - it'd be called "CRAMMING" if you do that. If you study and repeat them over and over again, you won't have to sleep late before the exam.

I really wish I knew this sooner actually. I had people giving me this same advice but because the message was not coming to me in a way that I was accustomed to I did not even test it out for myself. Now's the time for me to become more open minded to try new things.

I'm actually a smart kid in my class, when i was a kid I.. Used to study, Now i stopped i thought i was getting smart by my self. I thought i was lucky and will never be unlucky in my grades. Then that's when i noticed that i was wrong. My grades have been falling.. My brain has gone weaker i couldn't remember anything when i entered the next grade! I still didn't study. That's when i got 85% On my Final Test Exam. I Cried and cried, i thought what happened don't i usually get 100% on EVERYTHING WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME!! Then i started looking for video's like how to get smart, how to increase your grades, Until i thought of how to hack your grades on the schools computer. Anyways, even after searching that i didn't get any help out of it. But after watching this video i realized that it was me nothing else that failed me. So, now i understand that what my dad keeps telling me is true. Success pays of after studying and that was true.. I remembered when study before the Final Test Exam in 1st 2nd and 3rd grade, I studied and studied and my mom and dad next to me helping me study. Then stopped. They thought i can study by myself now and that's when my journey began to stop studying. Honestly i did still get good grades but when i came to 5th grade that's when i began to kinda let's say review my work a bit and obviously stopped. Then when 6th grade came it was the time where i began to feel a struggle i looked over everything on UA-cam and found nothing until after hard searching i found this video i figured. I'm foolish and dumb nerd that thinks he's smart but not.. So, i say now; Let me begin a new journey begin to study, begin to search how to become a great doctor ( my dream job ), how to become successful in life, how to .. i Don't know. Well the rest now it's on me to decide.

OMG! This is happening to me right now. You are lucky in one way that this happened to you when you were younger. I am at university now and the struggle is huuuge. I got to point when I was thinking that my brain is not capable of remembering all those things for every different subject and that was horrible. I hope that I will get back on track in near future and i hope you will too.

good by best years of your life, sure you'll live it up once you have your degree and you will keep telling yourself that for a decade and after you have learned to pass tests and lost the best part of your life you will regret every minuet you make money after that because that's all you have spent your time on. see engineers are engineers because they are borne with a mind suited to it, its hard work but look at their lives and what that lifestyle consists of? you think its glamor and cash.. lol might get those but one thing you have to give ... time (most precious). the consistency of their lives is problem-solving... an ocean of problems the rest of us cant solve... thats what awaits you as an engineer. so you want to study effectively or do you want to live your life for all that its worth effectively.. see the big secret that you need to know is that if you love something you will naturally do it. what ever you don't know you will find it along the way. studying dose not prepare you for the real thing. because real life dose not present you problems like find aria of "x" in a trapezium.. haha nope.... life is more like we need to stop killing each-other and start fixing our society and our relationship with the planet and with life itself.. fuck trying to make money from knowledge that is already out there.. gosh how much you pay for it?? its all a terrible mess you see. it needs attention from fresh minds and open harts. don't claim a bucket with a name when you have the ocean to swim in..
