The first 4 rules to studying better
1. Remember to take breaks
2. Create a designated study space
3. Learn the concept, not just facts
4. Don’t skip sleep
🔥🔥🔥
😢😢
Thanks this has improved my performance in class
Thanks this has improved my performance in class
I needed “don't skip sleep”
I've been experiencing burnouts
Thanku Mr. Lobdel for all the important aspects all together.
Planning to share the same with my students
#2: study area separated from living room is too harder for middle class, i salute those who utilize things in a better and mannered way💎
I really need a professor like him 😢
Study Rule #5. Ignore study rules #1-#4. Only take breaks if you need to. If you LOVE what you are learning, you can study longer. Study anywhere and everywhere. The whole world is our classroom. Don't even worry at all about the "facts." They probably aren't facts. Just remember them long enough to pass the lame tests. Same with the concepts. They are probably wrong or flawed. Study way outside the curriculum. It will help you understand how what you are supposed to learn falls short while at the same time will help you remember what you need to write down to pass the tests. All-nighters are fine if the situation calls for it and you can handle it. Finally, relate what you have to learn to what you are truly interested in. The only way you will get a true education is by learning far outside the curriculum. All subjects connect to all subjects, so it's easy to connect what you love learning about to that which you are required to learn. Be creative.
Very educative message, I like it, thanks 👍

I did how Marty says when I was in the school, except the fact at some disciplines I wasn't focus on concepts but on facts, huge mistake and Maybe I made bad choices in life and maybe I continue to do it, but I always try my best, that 's what I can do now.
Oh my god....how useful and informative this video is.
I've come to realize that the key to amassing wealth lies in making sound investments. I purchased my first home at the age of 21 for $87,000 and sold it for $197,000. My second home, acquired for $170,000, was later sold for $320,000, and my third property, purchased at $300,000, fetched $589,000, with buyers covering all closing costs and expenses. Not reaching a million before retirement feels like an unfulfilled goal._
You've achieved significant success. At 40, I'm aspiring to enter the housing market. I hope that by 55, I'll be sharing similar accomplishments!!!
I'm exploring different investment opportunities and would appreciate others' insights on this matter._
Whichever firm you select, make sure you get your insurance from a reputable financial adviser, such as *Jenny Pamogas Canaya,* who has dedicated her career to financial planning. Because they will assist you in escalating, navigating better, and completing the task in a safer manner..|.

I just subscribed your channel after watching this useful vedio...
Thanks for sharing
I love this video. Exactly what i have discovered.
Glad you enjoyed it 💙
Nice I like the grasping of concept
Taking break in the middle of studying is really helpful.I often tell my students and children. I don't allow them to continue doing when they felt bored because their brain could no longer absorb anything.
Study in hardship, pain, poverty, do good work, avoid entertainment, pain is one kind of energy.
O no it's my story
Thanks for reminding me 😢
I m from India, thx for such great information sir.
Regards
Thank a lot
i was unknowingly doing all this thing except for the sleep part i have not been able to do complete 8 hours is always 6 and below, i will work on that

Glad you enjoyed it 💙
Great video 😍
Thank you ❤
You're welcome 💙
In this video it is explained below points.
1. Studying for 30 mins and taking breaks for 5 min and do some fun activity. This will increase the efficiency and reduce the dread.
2. Fixing a study area or have lamp for study which we can on or go to that place, that give an idea of doing the study.
3. And we should understand the concepts and know functioning of the things, instead of remembering a things which can forgettable.
4. And we should not skip the sleep, it will helps in storing the concepts in our mind.
Thanks for summarizing it
I have just taken screen shot
Thank you sir 🙏🙏
Waiting for part 2
Great video of motivation
THANK YOU FOR THIS IMPORTANT AND VALUABLE WORD❤❤
Thank you for the love and support 🙏💙
1. Emotions emerge from overall brain-body states, not distinct entities.
The brain makes guesses to reduce uncertainty and plan actions.
2. "Affect" refers to general feelings tied to the body budget.
Managing affect through sleep, nutrition, etc. helps regulate emotions.
3. There are no universal facial expressions for specific emotions.
We make inferences about others' emotions from movements in context.
4. Emotion concepts and words summarize past experiences into categories to guide future actions.
5. More nuanced emotion vocabulary allows us to construct finer-grained categories and actions.
6. Other languages often have emotion words that English lacks.
Learning these expands our emotional granularity.
7. Relationships profoundly shape emotions through social synchrony and acts of kindness
that provide "savings" in the body budget.
8. Toxic relationships "tax" us. Choosing partners wisely is foundational for mental health.
9. Depression is like a "bankrupt" body budget.
Physical factors like sleep, nutrition, and exercise are crucial for affect.
10. Focusing attention on nuances of physical sensations, rather than emotion labels,
can provide wisdom to guide different actions.
---------------------------
Here are some specific actions you can take for each of the key points:
1. ** To better understand your emotions, pay attention to your physical sensations,
thoughts, and emotions as a whole. How are they interconnected? How do they change over time?
2. ** Social connection is essential for emotional well-being.
3. ** When you are feeling overwhelmed by emotions, focus on your physical sensations.
What are you feeling in your body? What does your body need?
The best way to improve your life is to experiment and find what works best for you.
Be patient and kind to yourself along the way.
I know what the teacher says but now I am so conscious of knowing just the concept of something, but it's definition, functions and it's importance is merely essential to interiorize what you have read. 😊
i always tend to forget 1/2 of things i used to study thanks i will sleep more from now
Thanks 👍👍
I am here watching video instead of studying for tomorrow's exam 😂😂😂i think I'll not pass,if I'm like this...
Same bro😂
Same 😂😂😂
Ahh same here ...I also have exam tomorrow n watching this video ryt now 😅
Ohh😂😂 actually we're on the same boat 😂
I guess we sailing the same ship lol 😂
Thank you
You need people who study, you don't need to study yourself, the key to successful people.
Yh Marty is absolutely correct, except the exercise part, I did the other routine during my freshman year in college and it really improved my study skills
Me study for 10 mins and started 30 min rest and then 20 min break an hour of study completed and told my mom😂😂
When I study for 1 hour and take break for 5 minutes, then that break becomes 1hour because of my laziness
i am a pre med student nd let me tell u guys just do your daily work nd thats it. doesnt matter if it takeds u an hour two or ten..close your books when u r done..done means done..revise on weekends nd then in between whenevr u r fee ..you'll be fine..i study for 12 hours a day nd sometimes 18 or 20 hours trust me i am aliv.. all it takes is the maddness u have for what u want
Really!? How did you do that?
Reading for 18 hrs? 😟
If I read for 3hrs stretch, it will be feeling headache
@@onosetaleigili8739 it wasnt sudden .. i have been studying for 4 years now and the longest break i took was once for 2.5 months..it is just my consistency that wont let me waste my time nd i hve now accepted that i hve to get into a med school for which i must study..these days i study for min 12 hours and max 15 hours..
great piece

if you have trouble sleeping, boil rinsed banana peels in a pan and drink it. That's a helpful tip from an herbalist. Instead of consuming sleeping pills, take the natural way and it has no side effects.
Great rules!
Thanks from India 🇮🇳
Thank you sir
Very helpful..
I already taken break after watching 5:41 mins of this video 😂 and will continue after 15mins 🙌
Amazing inspiration for our channel! ;)
Happy to hear that! 💙
study area separated from living room is too harder for middle class, i salute those who utilize things in a better and mannered way
todays 8 hours sleep is impossible. I know 6-7 hours sleep is a necessary for us.but today's in the competitive World, people think If you sleep, you will lose. Like a College student first and foremost duty is study, but he has to most of the time maintain his family for that reason he has work like tutor or freelance. So, we know that freelance is a night work or most of the time in day he is busy to earn money, so how can she/he sleep early or sleep (7-8) hour.
5:20 differentiate between Facts & Concepts & memorize or learn accordingly 8:01 So here is the summary
Good motivational video
So educative❤
Best video yet

Lovely! THANK You Prof.
