this has to be the most helpful study advice ever. it’s so raw and realistic for me. going straight to exam problems and practicing them until i get them right sounds faster than spending hours taking notes. i’ve noticed how when i spend 3 hours re-reading textbooks and my notes is not effective when taking exams. i’m also not going to take breaks like u said. i’m extremely prone to procrastinating so that’s probably one of the most realest advice i’ve heard so far. i just have to start giving myself some discipline
best way for studying: type notes in class and pull screenshots from the slides. when its time to study for the exam, use the notes from the class to make a story of the thing. like if you are studying photosynthesis TYPE the notes in class, then when the exam comes, WRITE initially from memory and then compare your initial WRITING with the TYPED ones to pick out what you forgot that is essential. :) should help.
Some students also rely on writing their notes manually because by keeping their hands busy and active, it enables them to solely focus on the information they are noting down. Typing, however, usually takes more time especially for those who aren't accustomed to typing on a laptop or staring at a screen for too long. In conclusion, I want to state my opinion that writing out notes is better than typing it out. No offence to your opinion though!!!

I've actually found this really effective method that helps me study maths, when the teacher teaches the topic and it becomes a new concept I will do a lot of practice on that concept to sort of grasp an understanding. If I don't understand even through practice, which is a new problem I sometimes encounter now, I will still do the practice using the way that they teach you to do it. Then here comes the gist, usually between the time that I get tested and the time that I learnt the topics there will be some time, so before tests especially when I don't have that much time to study I take some sticky notes and go back in my text book to read the examples and then just understand the flow and the thought process that takes place, then I write down any formula or the process to solving something on the sticky notes. New to your channel... I can finally relate with someone and now I know I'm not doing it wrong,it's just how people like me (short attention span/prone to be distracted) study! sometimes I would try to take breaks (force myself) and end up active recalling what I read...then,in case I forget something I sit back and go through the text again. In my case, I consider my breaks are just bathroom breaks, filling water bottle (in case,I drank it all) or ...to disturb my siblings (for short term, lol) The 5 step was realistic enough! Why you underrated.... Love your videos Bye~
Thank you so much for your support! And that's exactly right! I also find it difficult to take breaks without getting too distracted so I'd rather practice deep work, and get all of the work done in one go! Look forward to seeing you in future videos! :)
Ive watched hundreds of study tips videos but at the end of each video i get a feeling that It's not what i was excpecting them to say like theres no way that would be Actually effective but oh finally you literally just said all i needed to hear especially about the practice questions, breaks everything haha thanksss ❤
Lol I definitely agree with you for the breaks, I don't take them too much bc I have a really short attention span and I will end up procrastinating for the rest of the day.
I am preparing for my ACCA p level exams, and weirdly enough, this is the note taking technique that I applied this session and this is more effective than it sounds! I didn’t study the texts that much, I practiced, let myself feel dumb and note the parts that were tough and revise repeatedly. And about breaks I agree too, I take longer breaks like 30-40mins in 4-5hrs, that too with a plan or agenda or else I'd be just wandering everywhere instead of studying. I am more focused once I'm more settled in what I'm doing.
I'm a 3rd year Chemical Engineering student, I gasped when I saw you solving for a mass transfer subject. I'm currently taking Heat and Mass Transfer this semester and I find the subject quite challenging. I really love your take about the note taking thing. Most of my study time is consumed by making pretty notes that I'm not able to practice solving the entire topic coverage.
Omgg same I'm also a 3rd Year. But yeah, note taking is something I don't spend too much time on anymore... Unfortunately Semester 1 of my 1st year was the only time I could spend taking notes, other than that it's almost impossible to be up to date with the knowledge if you want to take pretty notes :(
As a Indian I was first hesitating to open the vid cuz they only talk about the pomodoro and blah and subjects like English or geography and all..But I still opened cuz my intuition said it's smthin diff...and I totally loved it...bruhhhhh You're like the twin...and when you said about my 15 hour break turns into the rest of the day it wassss enough to hit the subieee button...💋I just loved It!!! @@jet.james.61 ur so real for that
you are the big brother that i needed seriously love you muaahhh brother for these tips
In my case, I consider my breaks are just bathroom breaks, filling water bottle (in case,I drank it all) or ...to disturb my siblings (for short term, lol)
The 5 step was realistic enough!
Why you underrated....
Love your videos
Bye~
Thank you so much for your support!
And that's exactly right! I also find it difficult to take breaks without getting too distracted so I'd rather practice deep work, and get all of the work done in one go!
Look forward to seeing you in future videos! :)
Ive watched hundreds of study tips videos but at the end of each video i get a feeling that It's not what i was excpecting them to say like theres no way that would be Actually effective but oh finally you literally just said all i needed to hear especially about the practice questions, breaks everything haha thanksss ❤
I'm so glad this video helped!!! Best of luck with your tests, exams and studies! ❤
Thank you so much for all your advices and it definitely gonna help me. The 'break' part was so relatable for me.
No problem!! Thank you for support and I'm glad my advice was helpful!
Finally I found someone who doesn't take breaks such as me 🙃. Greetings from Egypt 🇪🇬
Hi! I'm glad you found it relatable! Hello from Australia!
the break part soo true :)
Honestly!! This channel,It's going to be big one
Aww thank you for your support
Lol I definitely agree with you for the breaks, I don't take them too much bc I have a really short attention span and I will end up procrastinating for the rest of the day.
Thats so true hahaha. I usually play games during my break and I end up playing way more than I should
I am preparing for my ACCA p level exams, and weirdly enough, this is the note taking technique that I applied this session and this is more effective than it sounds!
Unfortunately Semester 1 of my 1st year was the only time I could spend taking notes, other than that it's almost impossible to be up to date with the knowledge if you want to take pretty notes :(
those are actually very helpful, I've been doing these and learning a lot without knowing it was actually a method
your video is pretty fun to watch i mean even the way you just explain things is like so relatable. thankssss
Aww thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)
I want to see more content..I can't wait alhegakvdkabldfkskaslb
I'm crying, I studied all day and didn't even hold a gadget for a even a sec then I tried taking multiple tests about what I studied and I kept failing. Now I only have 1 day left 'til the exam and I feel like I know nothing.
HEYY THERE!!
Found your channel recently and it is a great help to ace myself academically even more....

Omg, finally someone I can relate to! Especially since i really love taking notes which is I almost spent the entire day taking/making notes rather than 'studying'. So, thank you for this! I can also relate to the part where I don't take breaks when studying hahahah
The break part is way too relatable.
Amazing
I like it when u said something like ,break isn't really necessarily well i also believe that !! Ohh and also that not taking note part was alsoo so relatable ur right !

I'm so glad I found a video that gives a practical, effective and useful tips huge thanks 💗💗💗
Glad it was helpful! I'm so happy to hear that! 💖❤️
what works for me is the 25 minute study and 5 minute break because I get so bored then stop studying and I can't pull myself to get back there and study but 25 minutes of study 5 minute break is what works for me but it's cool too to learn of other ways to study I study with a lot of memorizing and repeating out loud and I don't take notes because it's not affective for me but instead I put for each thing a question and it really helps understanding what I am studying, anyway it's a helpful video thanks
The recommendation of barely break is very useful to me! Thank you❤
bros a big brother giving me tips i never know i needed
I kinda like it i really have to study like this for board exams.
First time to witness such a dedicated western chad in studies !🗿
13 days later I'll be taking my univesity entrance exam. Even today, i am tend to take long notes (i dont even re-read them sometimes) i realized that it is just waste of time. Now i will try your technique and study with practice questions. I'll share my results after the exam.
Pray before you write your exam❤

Aww thank you for watching! I'm glad my advice helped!
To anyone reading this comment this man described it it too perfectly ,it applies so perfectly I was a student spending hours on study sessions as per my teachers would always advice me to study for around 8 hrs a day to score A (and being obedient I did ) then moving to my as lvl while doing self study I use to literally study around to 2 to 3 hrs a day nearly weeks before my cies and trust me aced my exams with as and bs WITH SELF STUDY and in subject like a lvl maths I scored a good grade (but do practice tho ) it’s just how u study smart and there is no point to stress out pro tip+every one has a diff style ur probably more smarter than those students studying for hours and hours and could do it in just a lil time
I immediately subscribed when he did those cute hand movements imao😭
