It's videos like these that make me wanna throw away my MacBook and start all over again :-) Great atmosphere, amazing to hear what can be done with so little gear.
+Bastiaan Winde if you end up moving away from the computer a lot of interesting/fun machines are out there, not just the Electribes and Volcas, although they are very cool and offer better value than most. but you might enjoy old or new samplers like Pioneer Toraiz SP whatever it's called, and the OP-1 (synth/multi track/sampler/beatbox). And Elektron machines are nice sonically as well and very powerful if you can get into the workflow.
Wow, I'm only at 1 min 10 secs and I already like :P :P I follow you for sure!!! Is it an electribe 2 synth with Volca sampler? How did you do to use a vocal sample? I have an electribe 2 synth version and I'd like to use my own samples with it but I don't want to buy an extra electribe 2 sampler ... Now the track is finished and I can tell you that this is a beautiful track, deep, trippy ... Keep on this way, man!
Sounds awesome! So, did you use the percussion sounds from the Volca or did you sample the percussion from the Electribe to free the number of poliphonic voices?
i used the volga for all the percussion (almost all if i recall correctly... ) and yes, the reason why was to free polyphony. I used quite a lot of synth layers here...
Hey brother, I am a beginner with video design and everything, but how are you putting a title and fading in at the beginning and fading out at the end. Where do you learn how to do this type of stuff or how? Thanks, any advice will help.
Korg should hire you. ASAP. Best Electribe stuff I have heard
Beautifully chill and melancholic/dark! Good work!

+Bastiaan Winde been workin on DAWs like Cubase and Reason for years. I got uncreative. Quitting using the computer was the best choiche for me.

🙆👏👌👍👍👍
I really wish I could get samples into my volca. I have tried to use Voysr, to no avail. The volca will not communicate with the computer.
Update: I succeeded!!
Great Job ! Really love the main synth . Vanilla sky samples?
thanks. It's American Beauty. :)
This is awesome man...very minimal on ur setup.inspiring me to get e2.is it worth it for doing ambient stuff?
Awesome ! Hey what video and recording device do you use ?
Sounds awesome! So, did you use the percussion sounds from the Volca or did you sample the percussion from the Electribe to free the number of poliphonic voices?

Great sound! So what is the Volca Sample doing in the particular video? just the vocal?
+DivKidVideo percussions! :)
I really like this, thanks for sharing. How do feel about the electribe2?
I love it!!
how long does it usually take you to set up for a performance like this? fantastic job mate :)
One hour or two
I'm doing some research on equipment I will need to shoot videos like this. What kind of video camera do you use to do this in a low light setting?
Jason Belcher this was not a low light setting 😉. I still use an old 5dmk2
What was used for delay & reverb? Sounds incredible!
+Luis Maior
Just the E2 internal fx, it's a mod Delay. The vocal sample was added in premiere. Using the premiere's crappy reverb
Awesome track! What type of camera do you use?
+Lucas Padulo Thanks! It's a 5Dmk2
+millolab what you recording the sound into?
+NeoLudditevisons You mean the speech?
no the instruments in this video, is it a TASCAM or a computer with processing etc?
+NeoLudditevisons tascam, and a subtile mastering in premiere
What do you use to connect the Electribe and the Sample to your computer?
Felipe Guimaraes I don’t. 😄
millolab but how did you record? Direct from the camera? Thanks man!
Felipe Guimaraes tascam dr70d. You can see it in the video. It’s that little black box just above the E2
Any chance you could do tutorial on your workflow?
You're on Soundcloud mate?
Yep! And bandcamp also! Search for millolab

Fantastic! But I was waiting for you to cut in the bass drum, snare, a heavy bassline!!
