Grazie Maestro! :)
Fantastic millolab! Would love a collab sometime with you - just don't really know the process.
Also - how do you organize your synths with different projects? Like, you have a lot of gear connected. I find that with too many synths, I have only so many patches I can make before the synth's are full. And Elektron gear has their 128 patterns (if you have a +Drive you can store snapshots of different sets of patterns, etc). I find that if I have patterns A3-A5 used with one song and different gear, and A6-A9 with another, I start getting overwhelmed with all of the combinations... if that makes sense. So how do you organize your setup?
MIDERA let’s do it! 👍🏻 we’ll figure the process out. About the synths... I don’t save the patches. I mean for this song I did save the patches... but more often I simply don’t! 😂
Crazy! When I finish a song, I often think, "Someday, I'd like to come back and play this or that live" but of course, when I get back to it, I have parts that were muted/unmuted, levels adjusted during live play, etc - the reality is, I could never replay that track with the same effort as I did when I recorded it, so I agree, it probably doesn't make sense.
You and I have somewhat similar ways in which to work... I'm very OTB. Perhaps what we should do is write something in a pattern on an elektron device (or something else we share) and send it over to the other person to do something with. I'll try to come up with something within a month and send to you (or vice versa). It's something we probably should have done back in 2013 ;)
Take care!
@@MIDERA what I usually do is send a recording of some pattern/song idea. If you send me a recording of some kind I can use the octatrack to play it back and play on top of it.
@@millolab Let's do that. I'll make a few patterns and record them and send them your way :)
3 thumbs down? 3 slips of the hand.
I'm going again
Awesome track as usual! I need an advice: would you recommend me to go for the electribe or the electribe sampler? Thank you in advance and keep up the good work!
Dipende da cosa preferisci tra un synth ed un sampler. :)
@@millolab preferisco un sampler, però al momento ho un synth (xstation) e due sampler che però a modo loro hanno i propri limiti (po33 e volca sampler)
great video and videos what would be ur fave piece of gear u own do u happen to have Yamaha RM1z and or MC 909
