So happy to see you finally reacting to KoRn! They are my favorite band. Yeah, this song is pretty close to their normal style of songs. Through out their career though they have had some variations to their style. Jonathan Davis uses his music as a sort of therapy. Their older albums are much more raw, harder, angrier, and darker. There are quite a few songs that really showcase Jonathan's rough childhood, and what he went though. From 2007 to 2011 it feels more like they were exploring some new styles to their music. For example the album 'The Path of Totality' they have a lot of electronic and dub-step elements in their songs. From 2013 to 2019 their songs feel a bit more mellow. The songs are still dealing with a lot of negative emotions, but that sharp, angry, biting edge that you hear in their first 5 albums isn't quite there anymore. Now their latest album 'Requiem' is more about letting the pain go and trying to heal. They actually had a really cool live streaming event for the release of the album.
I highly recommend listening to:
1 & 2 Freak on a Leash and then Falling Away from Me. The videos to those two songs go together. Fair warning though that Falling Away from Me dealing with some dark and sensitive/triggering topics.
3 Thoughtless
4 Hater - Another warning for sensitive subject matter.
5 Cold
6 Can You Hear Me
7 Start the Healing
8 Lost in the Grandeur
If you want to sample their work featuring electronic and dub-step music then I suggest Narcissistic Cannibal and Get Up!
Need to do a month of korn. So many great songs. Even the emotional songs are amazing
Korn is a deep rabbit hole to go down, I hope you do more.
Korn is the soundtrack to my life. I recommend Clown, Here to Stay, or even Get Up for a different sound from them.
You NEED to react to A LOT of Korn!!! They are undoubtedly the funnest metal band out there and Jonathan Davis has one of the most unique voices in the game! (Also, this album is AMAZING, cannot recommend checking the rest of it out enough)
KoRn is my favorite band!!!! Need to do either Here to Stay, Falling Away from Me, Freak on a Leash, Y’all Want a Single,or A Different World ft Corey Taylor.
Jonathan Davis Microphone stand is designed by H.R. Giger ... the Alien creator sadly recently passed away ... it 's an Korn icon forever!!!
the Mic stand is called the bitch. it was designed by the same man who made the aliens from the movie Alien.
The more you know 🌈
Let's go 🔥 So hyped to watch more reactions to Korn 🙌🏻 BTW if people start asking for "Daddy" just do it after some songs, it's not the right time for that.
if you wanna hear one of the latest korn songs i recommend ''Worst is on its way''
Korn as been my favorite band for most of my life. They have evolved their sound over the years. They started in early 90s and have been going strong for years. Please check out some of their early stuff like Blind ,Adidas or freak on a leash. So you get an idea of how much they have changed.
You should listen to " dead body's everywhere "
"Daddy"
"Blind" a live version
Korn - "insane" or "Here to stay" 😁 my favorite band of the last 25 years... since my teen days until now. Greetings from Portugal 🇵🇹
You should check out “Get up!” by Korn. It features Skrillex. The song and the video are holy shitballz amazing!
P.s. I love your content, thank you for sharing!!
This is my favorite song off of their 12th album "Serenity of Suffering" they have released 14 albums so far. ❤
Starting out with a banger❤
Rotting In Vain, Cold, Insane are other bangers as well.
"Freak on a leash" is a great one. The video was pretty epic for its time.
Falling away from me has always been my favorite song by korn.
The mic stand it is a woman made by the artist h.r giger who invented the alien from the movie alien 😊
Mic stand is called Alien. Freak on a Leash, Twisted Transistor, too many to list.
Yes Charis Korn is good for you, have a splendididididid dayyyy, darlin.
Just came across your channel, and wanted to answer your question about Jonathan Davis' mic stand. It's called "The Bitch", and is a creation of H.R. Giger, who is best known for designing the "biomechanical" style of alien for the Alien movie franchise, and the mic stand is typical of his particular art style. On Davis' request, he had asked Giger to come up with the design of a woman in Giger's art style.
That’s really effin cool
My favorite band is Korn. Please do any song from their four first albums. Full of bangers.
Black is the soul from Korn is one of their best songs ever hard heavy and really brutal 🤘😈☠️🆒
After your like about my comment about Cats I had a binge watch and have now subscribed!
Your fun to watch and seem to have done reactions to a few of my favourite bands, I like that you’ve seen The Pretty Reckless, they were on tour with Halestorm (Lzzy Hale) and one of my favourite bands The Warning. They are a 3 sister trio from Monterey Mexico and they play Rock/Metal, they were highly regarded by both Lzzy Hale and Pretty Reckless. Since then they’ve opened for Muse on the 4 gigs they had in Mexico on their world tour. You should check them out, they’re really good, I’m not going to ask you to react to them, that would be disrespectful; all I really want to do is draw your attention to another great band!
Great reaction, Korn are a great band I used to watch them along with A7X years ago good stuff 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thanks for the sub! ❤️
"My Wall" is also a good Korn song.
do korn deep inside or here to stay reaction! great song!! also great reaction. and his mic stand is a naked woman
Thank you 🤗🤗
I love how music video directors often make bands play and sing in ridiculously demonstrative fashions, in ways you could never play accurately or sing with anything like a level tone. Certain notes? Sure. Entire songs and have them sound good? No way. Also, hey boss Queen :)
Nice one ☝🏾
What an a-maize-ing reactcorn! Yes, it's pretty typikob of their sound.
On a more cereal note, they have the most celebrity appearances of any artist in their field. Angelina Jolie, Eminem, Aaron Paul, Tommy Flanagan, Snoop Dogg, and more.
🤘🤘🤘
Check out “GOT THE LIFE” or “FAGET”
You should react to avenged sevenfolds new single nobody
Basically korn made the genre lol
😳
I need to say this before anyone tries to be a smartass: don't listen to "Daddy" just yet! Try others like: freak on a leash, fall away from me (this one is heavy but not like daddy), ladders and shooters, got a life, oildale, blind (this needed to be the first song for you haha), right now, a different world (with Corey Taylor), twisted transistor. anyway go and try all their music BUT avoid daddy for now (or listen off screen).
I was really confused why people kept calling me Daddy to be honest
@@CharisSellick yeah, people wanted you to watch and listen to this song soon but don't, wait for the right moment : )
🌽 Virgin, Love It
Yeah. They don’t get the love they deserve anymore. It’s sad
Me encantan tus reacciones!! Saludos desde argentina 💪💪
gracias!
I love Korn's older stuff , so have not heard this song at all. It has the general feel of their kind of songs yes. The older stuff is really iconic and some songs a lot different in comparison. You probably have found the answer to your question regarding the mic stand, its a woman's body styled by H.R Giger (ala Xenomorphs) and as far as I know he uses it all music videos and live performances. If you want to react to some of their earlier work I'd say go with "Here To Stay" such a fun song, or "Cold" very cool live video.
@Albert Williams Ur right bout the mic stand he does use it in every video and live concerts he got it back in 2001 and used it ever since than and there are only 3 ever made of these stand's and J.D owns 2 of them the 3 is in H.R Gigers museum in Switserland
Since you are just starting to listen to Korn....let me give you a tad bit of advice...a lot of people are gonna request you do "Daddy"....Enjoy Korn first before you traumatize yourself with the song "Daddy". No one, I mean NO ONE is EVER ready to listen to "Daddy"....Blind, Clown, Shoot and Ladders, Got the Life, Freak on a leash are a few good one to start with.....I would suggest Blind next....also Jonathon Davis has said in interview that their performance at Woodstock 99 was their best performance EVER.....after you have checked out more Korn Woodstock 99 performance deserves a look....I was there and I can confirm what Davis said
Try songs off there Orginal albums literally anything but Daddy but if you dare
This is not a song that attracted many people to Korn. It's their 90s to mid 2000s stuff that saw them skyrocket, those songs are what they're most well known for. Would deffo check out Freak on a Leash, Blind, Falling Away From Me...and if you want something emotionally heavy - Daddy.
PLEASE REACTING TO "MAKE THEM SUFFER-DOOMSWITCH PLEASE!!!
Theatre Kid Reacts to Make Them Suffer: Doomswitch

The top of the mic stand john Davis uses does look like a chick.
Next reaction VOB "GOD ALLOW ME PLEASE TO PLAY MUSIC 'MV VOB BAND 3 GIRLS HIJABERS from 🇮🇩👍 AMAZING SUPER TALENTED 👍❤️
Next reaction VOB "ENTER SANDMAN"Metalica cover VOB BAND 3 GIRLS HIJABERS 🇮🇩 consert LIVE AT( FRANCE) TRANS MUSICALES DE RENNES 2021👍 AMAZING ❤
Korn was a whole lot better from 1994 - 2003. That was their prime.
they have way better songs but this one has a nasty breakdown
So glad your not doing freak on a leash or falling away from me etc. Going for the recent records I love that
Lol I have 🤣
@CharisSellick I meant to say for your first reaction video. I like seeing newer song reactions personally. To many of the older ones. It makes it harder for new listeners to find their up to date music. Wich I think is Fantastic. But whatever gets your views and you listening to korn I'm down for whatever.
More korn.
