Because they only made 77 of them. They could have made 250-300 and sold the ALL. Would have made them more popular bc more widely experienced and enjoyed. This Aston and the LFA cause wet dreams for me on a weekly basis. It's been 10 years. I still have trouble watching videos about those cars painlessly because of the urge of owning one and driving one. Magnificent car, sublime sound.
I am beating myself for forgetting about this car. It was easily my favourite car back in the day. It was the only car that I have ever cared to have as a poster. Still one of the most beautiful Aston's to-date. Sounds like an absolute dream too. Why couldn't they use this as the design focus for their modern cars. People will think the Vulcan's and the Vantage GT8 marked the end of an era for the Aston's of old but not me, I'll remember the One-77. The outlier, from the age of Beauty, Power and Soul. Thanks for bringing the memories of this car back for me, I'll never forget this again.
Thank you Matt & Nicholas Mee - this is my all time favorite Aston and even today, the design looks so elegantly dramatic giving it a presence that nothing else can quite manage. That car needs so much to get opened up on an unrestricted stretch of autobahn! Fabulous!!
Well said that man! It’s our pleasure, thanks for watching. Agree - it has a completely unique presence.. would love to open it up properly on the autobahn!!
I remember seeing Harry's review of this all those years back and it's been my most favourite car ever since. Probably this and a Regera would be my ultimate two-car garage.
Woaw great video. Thanks for sharing the experience ! Would have been a brilliant Bond car this one instead of the more standard DBS and DB10. 4:09 I love the little Zonda tone in the sound... Both 7.3 V12 engine that One-77 and the Zonda.
Absolute stunner of a car, its the complete package, looks to die for, engine sound to match and hypercar performance figures, already a legend in the automotive history
Really enjoying these reviews by Matt. He continues to come into his own as an auto journalist, and video maker. Keep up the great work. Thanks for what you do.
Well done Matt, well done indeed. Superb video and what an experience. Nicolas was really interesting to listen to also. I loved his views on the shape and the fact it invites you to look deeper and find some of the inspiration from older models. Stunning! 👌🏽🙏🏽

They are more of the 'if you know, you know' as opposed to an Enzo, Zonda or Veyron.
@@waynemarlow8157 I would think so too, just about, or at higher speeds anyway.
