- The Aston Martin One-77 is without a doubt one of the most beautiful cars in the world, but what's it like to drive?! This is one-of-7 Q Series versions, and with a 7.3 litre naturally aspirated V12, it's well known that the gearbox isn't exactly great so let's get a feel for it in the desert outside of Dubai thanks to VIP Motors!
VIP Motors very kindly brought the car out from the showroom for me to have this opportunity. The car in question is a Q Series, one of only 7 out of the full run of just 77 One-77s in total. The Q Series adds a few unique touches with tinted carbon parts and painted accents.
The Aston Martin One-77 had the most powerful NA engine ever at the time of launch with 750hp and 760nm. The bodywork is entirely made from carbon fibre and fits the ultimate proportions for such a car - a front engine hyper-GT. At new they cost £1.15m and with so few in existence it is an incredibly rare machine.
I first experienced driving a One-77 as long as 6 years ago thanks to a private owner but with much more driving experience now under my belt it's time to get a better feel for what it's all about, with an open road to enjoy glorious V12 sound.

Aston Martin took the chance releasing this car in an economic crisis, just imagine if Jaguar had done the same with it's C-X75 concept. Thank you, Aston Martin.
Yeah, the Jaguar C-X75 has one of the coolest aesthetic, especially the side profile looks amazing to me.
Because Jaguar is dumb. Still can't forgive them not building 150 or 350 or so units of this unique car.

I remember trying to bust a racer in a One-77 in Hot Pursuit. The mission was Tough Justice if I remember correctly. Tough indeed, first time I played it, I used a Ford GT. Could barely keep up with the bastard.
I played that game when I was about 10 and I was amazed at the looks of the car and its design. It is beautiful. Shame Marcus crashed it at the end of the game

Never seen him so genuinely affected by the experience...emotional..there is his usual gushing promo delivery and then there is this delivery simple sincere admiration and awe. It is a piece of art, and that particular example is one of the best. There simply won’t be a car like it built again. One for the connoisseurs.

The wide rear end is something special, like that of a Zonda. Changes the way the car handles.
The One-77
I had seen this car years ago and after that I could never unsee it. A typical Aston Martin handsome car. One of the most gorgeous, classy and powerful cars. I'm in love all over again. Thank you Shmee for this. I'm glad you share the same love for this stunner
