I've been trying to drift for 2 months now and I am still not able to drift properly. I can drift for about 5 seconds but I usually spin out. I'm drifting correctly, it's just I cant keep it up nor transition. I clutch with handbrake to transition or start and I'm in gear 3-4 most of the time but, it still doesn't work. I'll give it like 6 more months, but if it doesn't work out, I'm calling it quits.
I use the map drift playground or the games drift map shown in the intro.
Hi do u have any idea, why my car always spin around although i just push down the throttle?
Its hard a bit to keep speed cause i dont have the g29 shifter so cant use clutch
It is definitely harder when you don’t have the shifter so i respect that!

What's with everyone using a sim setup but play in 3rd person? That kinda defeats the purpose doesn't it?
No actually it doesn’t. Most good drivers know how to play first and third and it doesn’t effect their driving that much. Also this is an older video when i was playing 3rd person mostly. Every video now is either 100% first person or a combination of the two
@2JayZ can you give me some tips on counter steering because that seems to be the hardest part for me & also some tips on maintaining the drift. I have the same wheel and settings as you but just turned down my rotation to 600 for beginner help.

You shouldn’t be using stability control anyway when drifting in my opinion BUT never fear, I’m about to put out a full and wayyyyyy better guide to drifting for you all !

Stability Control on or off?
Off in my opinion gives more feel of the car in my opinion
When i play offline in practice mode i put stability control on 100% and i drift pretty good, but online in a server it is off and i spin out like bayblade. I use logitech gt drive force. Please help

@@2JayZ and it works perfecly fine, i feel every corner and every effect on the road and the wheel steers back as yours in the video like in real life
stability control is off in every server online , had the same struggle , unfortunately you should learn to use the gas less and catch the drift

You can definitely brake the same but for those who don’t have a handbrake, i put a video out recently showing how to set up a wheel without handbrake that many don’t do, but it works perfectly
