After a few quiet days last week, we went full steam into framing out our furniture this week! We are having a full size bed, L-shaped sofa area and a bulkhead kitchen. Ben did an amazing job fitting it all together and we can really see our new home starting to take shape now. Exciting times indeed.
Chesca & Ben here! In May 2019, we bought a sprinter van while we were on the other side of the world. We flew back to the UK to convert her into our dream home on wheels. Follow our journey as we take her from a panel van to a camper van, ready to drive us around the world.

Loving the build. We are just starting on our 2nd van with a fixed bed this time. What height , width have you done you bed and also your seating? Can't wait to see the finished result.
Hi, your videos are super helpful! How come you used pocket holes for the bedframe joinery and normal screws for the kitchen cupboards?
We used pocket holes for building the frame of both the bed and kitchen. We don't need to use them for the kitchen cupboards themselves 👍

@@OverlandingSophia I'm getting close but I keep watching a few a couple of times because they're so good. I'm catching all the back stories, like when River was a pup, and the anguish you went thru deciding to adopt Scout, and the tattoos you got, and the nose piercing, but the best is watching Ben figure out shit .. he's always positive. and makes it happen. Watching Ben all covered in dirt trying to figure out what's wrong with Sophie's brakes when we first met is how he always is in the videos. He's like my Michael (son), always able to build and fix anything. The world needs more Ben's and Michael's .. I have so many channels I love but you and Ben are now my favorite. Thank you for making a 72 yr old man a very happy guy ❤

Your work on this is outstanding but please when you’ve finished take it to a weighbridge and find out how much over weight you are
Thanks for asking (and the kind words), but I don't think we'll be overweight by the end. We had her weighed a couple of weeks ago and we still have plenty to play with.
In that case keep up the good work, but watch the weight!!
