I was in that suite when it was the Hilton in 2009. That was Elvis's old penthouse suite remodeled, although there were many bedrooms in that 14k square foot suite when I was there in 2009, not just 3. We got to go into Manilow's suite since he wasn't in town. Peach color predominated with cream or white shag carpet throughout. The decor was rather dated and a bit shabby. We sang "Mandy" while we were in there.
This hotel room literally looks like when you're trying to make a super fancy house in the Sims and your Sims only wants the top 5 decorations! 🤣🤣 Lots of repetition and lots of randomly thrown in stuff to fill out the empty corners! X)))
@@mckinseystiver Doesn't matter which direction you go, you'll probably find a bathroom. And the bathroom will have multiple WCs as well. You'd have more trouble going back to bed.
On the “Beardy 1 and Beardy 2” thing I feel I need to add that that’s pretty much exactly what they would do with twins in Ancient Rome. The first twin would get the normal name, in this case Beardy, and the second one would get the prefix “Anti” meaning not. So they would be Beardy and Not Beardy. Thank y’all for coming to my Ted Talk
But they both are bearded. And the thing with the names like that is more common for women's names. Daughters were named after their fathers name. For example, Julius Ceasar's daughter got the name of Julia, and 2nd daughter would be named Julia Secunda (the second) and so on.
The bust is Commodus..AKA Marcus Aurelius or the Gladiator Emperor who faked his wins and was killed by the guy who trained him, in the bath tub. He pretty much ended the golden age of Rome due to things he did.
Omg yes thank you. I was pretty sure I was the only one who thought that way. Seriously, if I had to stay there 24/7 for a week I would ether come out insane or as ruler of the galaxy.
I was thinking that too. I lived most of last year in a 400ish square foot hotel room. Cleaning took 20-25 mins each day with a team of 2. That was sweeping / mopping / bathroom and bed mostly. Even a team of 10 would take a hour easy in this place for a half decent job done.
Service is probably included in the price tag. As in, if they're gonna pay that much per stay, you probably have enough money to hire a big cleaning crew to get it ready after each guest. Though this is Las Vegas we're talking about… Hiring a single person may be more expensive than your usual employee elsewhere.
This place seems like it was just supposed to be expensive, and it wasn't planned out. It's shaped strangely, and kind of feels like they were just putting as much expensive stuff in one area as possible and ran out of ideas.
Yes this! It looks like somebody went to a bunch of different faux antique stores and said well take the most expensive thing you have at each one. It lacks cohesion and theme and seems set up to just impress people not used to such a big room.
This is why I watch UA-cam, to live vicariously through people staying or doing things I will never be able to afford in my lifetime lol. This hotel room is gorgeous though, I love how gaudy it is. The murals are amazing, probably my favorite part honestly.
The bearded Roman is Hadrian. Famously known for being the first emperor with a beard. Also for building a wall. Also for having a young male lover who was murdered (?) that he created a cult around.
😂 It's not just the phones!! I'm pretty sure that this suite hasn't changed in decades! It seems like the only "updates" they've done, since probably the 80's, was filling in some of the water features with random bits of AstroTurf!! 😬🤷😄
It makes me think of that scene in pretty woman when Julia Roberts is in the tub in that opulent suite and she goes to call room service on that super cheap, old phone.
This reminds me of how preteen me would make "fancy" houses while playing Sims and ending up with way too much space so there would just end up being bathrooms everywhere... but still holy buckets this place is insane!
My two thoughts throughout this whole video: 1. You could totally film a movie in there or take cool pictures dressed up as royalty 2. This hotel room is bigger that both my house and yard Edit: alright y’all I get it, this room is huge all of our houses are smaller than it... we don’t need to keep repeating it 😂
BeccaPekkaRekka - I was thinking the same thing, I just didn't want to say it. I can imagine the hedonistic parties that take place in this suite. I'm sure Crystal, Molly and their friend Mary Jane are the queens of the party! 😂
Yup. If not Marcus Aurelius it has to be another emperor after Hadrian since all the emperors before Hadrian were clean shaven and only after Greek loving Hadrian adapted the greek custom of beards/ made acceptable in Roman society were there emperors with them.
The way that that had a pre-wedding party together instead of a bachelor party and a bachelorette party is so sweet, I don’t even know why it’s just so heartwarming 😂🥰
Imagine how easy it would be to lose a phone charger or something you set down for a minute in this place, i feel like packing up would be so stressful trying to check every nook and cranny
Kim B, that's me In all fairness, Jeffree and Safiya are too very different people. Jeffree has openly said that he and Nate used to have orgies with many people whereas Safiya has been in a monogamous relationship with Tyler since they were in college.
@@crystala7x182 I didn't mean it as comparing them in their sexual goings-on; I meant it totally as a joke in the different ways they describe the huge shower :) (Jeffree's description of the shower during the house tour is the first time I've ever heard that description and at 48, thought it hilarious - yes, this was useless info haha.) Plus, I could have been interpreting her carefully but awkwardly worded (lol) description incorrectly, but I am pretty sure she was thinking along the same lines lol.
@@calichef1962 Very, very true! The $25,000 some very rich person would spend on that room for 1 night would pay my rent for 31 months and have $200 left over! Wow, that is actually sickening (and not in the good way).
@@Uniquely-Unoriginal I wonder if anyone has ever actually paid. I bet most get comped, because it gives reputation to the hotel. If Saf and Tyler don't pay, celebs don't either.
That's a cheeky way to circumvent having to add *sponsored* on your video... You got to stay there for free, but out of courtesy you felt like shouting them out, adding their link in your description. Not having that, Tyler! It's actually a sponsored video except without a contract.
I forgot how actually crazy this hotel room is. I mean, my house is probably about the size of just one of those offset bathrooms. Not even the bedrooms with them. Just the bathrooms.

Makes more sense to have more bedrooms instead than than 2 closets, toilets, baths, and showers a piece for only 3!
This ain't Elvis' suite. This is the Verona Sky Villa. Elvis' suite is the Tuscany Sky Villa (now renamed the Klinko)
This hotel room literally looks like when you're trying to make a super fancy house in the Sims and your Sims only wants the top 5 decorations! 🤣🤣
Lots of repetition and lots of randomly thrown in stuff to fill out the empty corners! X)))
These rooms have been around long before Sims came around. So technically, the Sims are trying to be like them
Someone needs to recreate this in the Sims. XD
Omg that's so accurate!!!
Me when I first got the game filling the whole room with the Princess Cornelia items to look rich
Can you imagine waking up in the middle of the night, disoriented and everywhere you turn in this labyrinth there is either a mirror or a statue?

@@mckinseystiver I don't think finding a bathroom in here would be the problem, moreso deciding which bathroom to go to

I don’t think this is a “hotel room”. More like a MANSION 🧐
They could play hide and seek in it
Why even call it a hotel “room” it’s not a room anymore. It’s a house
Some would say a villa
Yeah, you could fit seven of my houses in there. Certainly not any bidets in our house though...
way bigger than my house even tho mine is 4 stories, damn im shook
More like a mansion.
basically a rental mansion....
That is the largest effing hotel room I've ever seen

MissVenise HOLY SHIT I CAN AFFORD THIS AND IM MOVING TO VEGAS🤯
When the first room is bigger than your whole house.
life is sad.....
I love the juxtaposition of Tyler’s basketball shorts and this whole entire suite
Miss Heather's World I’m learning about Ancient Rome rn and tell me why I thought it was cichlids or whatever his name is
Miss Heather's World “killed [....] in the bath tub” that actually fits this suite very well 😂

This hotel room scares me, I cant be the only one that finds it kinda creepy. I wouldnt be able to sleep there lol
I thought the same thing!!
The only people who can pay for this room unsponsored are extremely wealthy so some shady and perverted shit has definitely gone down in that room.
Omg yes thank you. I was pretty sure I was the only one who thought that way. Seriously, if I had to stay there 24/7 for a week I would ether come out insane or as ruler of the galaxy.
The place is a red flag by itself hahaha.
Like a fancy liminal space 🤣
The cleaning lady’s must dread that place lol
I was thinking that too. I lived most of last year in a 400ish square foot hotel room. Cleaning took 20-25 mins each day with a team of 2. That was sweeping / mopping / bathroom and bed mostly.
Even a team of 10 would take a hour easy in this place for a half decent job done.
No lol, hey prob get paid a fuck ton so nah
Imagine having to clean that whole hotel room
I agree, I wonder how long it takes to polish all of that marble?
I don’t even want to think about it , Godspeed to the Army off staff that probably has to work in there to get it ready for guests
I would assume more than one person cleans it.
It would take all day
I appreciated seeing the floorplan view... then my jaw DROPPED when you highlighted the Foyer ONLY section omg this thing is massive
This place seems like it was just supposed to be expensive, and it wasn't planned out. It's shaped strangely, and kind of feels like they were just putting as much expensive stuff in one area as possible and ran out of ideas.
that pretty much sums up all of Vegas.
Yes this! It looks like somebody went to a bunch of different faux antique stores and said well take the most expensive thing you have at each one. It lacks cohesion and theme and seems set up to just impress people not used to such a big room.

The bearded Roman is Hadrian. Famously known for being the first emperor with a beard. Also for building a wall. Also for having a young male lover who was murdered (?) that he created a cult around.
As soon as I saw him I immediately thought "oh, that's absolutely Hadrian!"
Looks more like Marcus Aurelius to me. Hadrian is generally depicted with less beard and a little less hair.
The stronger chin does give off a good bit of Hadrian though.
I came to the comments because I knew someone would have the answer. Thank you.

One day we have house this big and we love eachother and make babies sweetie beauty gentle love
I love how everything in this suite is incredibly opulent, but they were loath to spend more than $20.00 on the bathroom phone.
It's an amazing contrast. I'm here for it
😂 It's not just the phones!! I'm pretty sure that this suite hasn't changed in decades! It seems like the only "updates" they've done, since probably the 80's, was filling in some of the water features with random bits of AstroTurf!! 😬🤷😄
@@BionicBear88 I wonder why they filled the water features in
It makes me think of that scene in pretty woman when Julia Roberts is in the tub in that opulent suite and she goes to call room service on that super cheap, old phone.

Elvis was a massive horse lover. That probably explains it.

Too bad he was into kids, dating his wife when she was 14 and he was 24...

My two thoughts throughout this whole video:
1. You could totally film a movie in there or take cool pictures dressed up as royalty
2. This hotel room is bigger that both my house and yard

Just a fun fact: from what I can tell, the bust is indeed not Julius Caesar, but Marcus Aurelius. An even cooler dude!
i'm 90% sure that's exactly who that is.
Yup. If not Marcus Aurelius it has to be another emperor after Hadrian since all the emperors before Hadrian were clean shaven and only after Greek loving Hadrian adapted the greek custom of beards/ made acceptable in Roman society were there emperors with them.
Yep it defo is x
I would't call borderline genocidal authoritarians "cool dude[s]".
