    Another great video coach Kennie, such a great variety of returns here, I guess like anything it's important to practice the weaker shots to be prepared for any type of serve. 🏸👌

    As many people say we should have mindset or strategy while match, basically what's the mindset called in that case ?

    • @CoachKennieAsuncion
      @CoachKennieAsuncion  3 роки тому +1

      You will form your strategy based on your opponents game play and ofcourse based on your strengths and weaknesses. You must have a positive mindset- always finding solutions to the problems that arise during game play😁🏸

      Then mirror the movements

    • @CoachKennieAsuncion
      @CoachKennieAsuncion  3 роки тому +1

      Trying to get to it sooner. But as Km F said its mirroring the movement. When you see instructions on footwork for a right handed, yours will be opposite. If a right handed starts their footwork moving their left and ending with their right foot then yours is the opposite, you start with moving your right foot and end with your left foot😁🏸

    Hi Coach,
    I had ACL reconstruction surgery one yr back now using knee cap while playing,but one problem I m facing at the time of movements. It's sticking sometimes and not feeling free movements.. obviously having fear for reinjury as well. Could you please advise for what reason I get this restriction? 1. It's becoz my movements become slow after surgery? 2. Shoe is new so facing problem to adjust initially 3. Any other issues that u can guess ... please

    • @AnishakashyapOfficial16032002
      @AnishakashyapOfficial16032002 3 роки тому +1

      This problem is with me also I also had acl reconstruction last to last year but now my movement is very slow after wear knee supporter and if I don't wear then I have a fear of re injury but I m trying to focus on my footwork and really working hard on my footwork skills because this is the only thing from which I can overcome my fear .

    • @CoachKennieAsuncion
      @CoachKennieAsuncion  3 роки тому +1

      I have players who’ve had acl surgery and they now move the way the used to. Things to consider, 1 make sure you’ve followed doctors advise on therapy and strengthening. 2 slowly work your strength back, dont rush it & dont get frustrated if its not as fast as you want it. It takes a bit of time but you can get back to what it used to be or even better. 3 fight the fear- this is the hard part, as long as you make sure you do strenghthening, trust that your leg can handle it. 😁🏸

    While playing, when I hit my jump smash upon the follow through I feel like my whole body crushing down ie my back just bends to the point where my racket hits the floor ,, I am a tall guy at 6'4and I can't figure out how to improve on it

    • @CoachKennieAsuncion
      @CoachKennieAsuncion  3 роки тому +1

      While it is true that when executing a jump smash your body naturally folds in but that folding occurs while you are coming down from the smash, so i suspect that your follow through is not controlled & you totally throw all weight forward in which should not be the case. After the jump smash and follow through, you must quickly adjust back to your ready position before your whole upper body uncontrollably comes down but i know this is easier said than done. Be conscious and practice it, i am certain you will be able to adjust... 😁🏸
