Pro tip: to get rid of the wobbly effect when filming a screen, adjust your camera’s shutter speed to be slower, until the screen looks stable. If it’s a mobile phone and the stock camera app doesn’t allow you to control the shutter speed, you can download alternative apps that do it.
Thx for this interesting video! There are many videos on UA-cam concerning techniques, but quite few about tactical aspects. My suggestion for the next one: "How to beat an opponent who's fitter, better technically, smarter and looking nicer"
What I like about playing a bit flatter and pushing your shots a bit further from the net is that it can actually allow you to *"Win the Net."* What I mean by this is: You are forcing your opponent to make the first move if they want to play at the net, and since your shots are pushed a bit further back, they either have to take away a lot of speed off the shuttle OR lob the shuttle a bit higher so it can land closer to the net. Both of these scenarios give *YOU* the First Opportunity for a spin or a really tight net shot. This allows you to get a lot more Attacking Opportunities. Also, playing your shots flatter/further into the court means that your Slices / Drop shots will get more effective as well by virtue of constantly keeping your opponent standing further back into their court.
Request - could you do next video about cardio, power, agility and mobility of badminton player. If posible create a practice session which suit to beginners and intermediate players. Waiting for a reply
I can play singles pretty well where i cAn reach 11-14 pts VS C grade plyers and have idea how to score… but when i play doubles, i am clueless out there with rotation, where to be and where to hit it! I watch MAD hours of doubles u15 U17 to learn basic stuff but still cant figure it out on court and they always target me in matches !
hopefully you've fixed this problem but just in case, 1. don't do footwork mindlessly, add in variations and randomness 2. slow down your footwork during games, focusing more on one thing at a time 3. play more
So the goal by playing it small is to win rallys faster and break their momentum since they are stronger? Also if we play faster and harder, won't that tired us out too?
Which professional players have this play style? I would like to watch some on youtube. Isn't it the Indonesian and Danish players who play like this? Maybe the Chinese too?
Yes Ginting is a great example. Many of the top players can also play different styles and they change it throughout the match. Maybe have a look at Chou, many times he starts the set with a big court and longer rallies and when it gets to the end of the game he often speeds up and plays a smaller court
Perfect! Such videos are really important for an intermediate player to reach an advanced stage. Putting the thinking cap on.
... Please do more videos like this - this is the chess of badminton - and it's the kind of thing I want to think about off court!

Awesome, thank you so much! I will try to adjust the shutter speed for the upcoming vids!

I wish my fitter opponent isn't watching the same video, else my advantage is gone 😂
4:34 Typo there, should be "explosive" instead of "eyplosive"
What should be the tactic for the fitter opponent when these two playertypes meet?
Bro I am to slow in court how move fast can you make a video please 🙏🙏
Hi Tobias...Ive been practicing footwork exercises a lot... But not able to implement them during match... Please suggest/guide

In Nuremberg in Bavaria
I am both not explosive and fast and not fitter than my opponent :(
Good video
Can you make how to win against taller opponents?
I will put it on my list ;)
