We return tonight to our study of the epistle of Jude. We are unable to move through this book as rapidly as we did 2 John and 3 John, if for no other reason than the fact that it’s about twice as long as both of those. But more than that, this is one of those books that is condensed. And when you begin to look into it, it expands by its own nature. And so, we are digging in deeply and finding ourselves broadened in our understanding of the truths which are here mentioned rather briefly but open to us all kinds of vistas of understanding.
Jude wrote this little epistle on the subject of apostasy. Apostasy is to defect from the faith: to know the faith that is the gospel of Jesus Christ, to affirm it to one degree or another, to understand it, and to abandon it, to reject it.
More than that, Jude is not dealing necessarily with apostasy in general but with one particular form of apostasy, and that is that kind of apostasy that rejects the faith and then stays inside the church and deceives and propagates lies. There are those who, having heard the faith and understood the faith and even made profession of the faith, abandon the faith and disappear, never to darken the door of the church again, making no pretense of religion, no pretense of Christianity. They, of course, have brought upon themselves eternal condemnation, but they are not a threat to the life of the church.
There are, however, other apostates who, having rejected the faith, become the agents of Satan inside the church who profess some adherence to Christianity, to Christian truth, and even some adherence to Scripture. But they are perverse and perverted, and they exist inside the church in order to do the deadly work of undermining the truth from the inside.
I was taught that in my church and also would rebuke satan, Now I pray with all my heart God will forgive me I knew not the truth…. I am grieved to my soul. Thanks to John a wonderful shepherd.
1 John 1:9 says God will forgive you and Psalm, 103:12 says He will forget what you did too.
My daughter remembers me chasing Satan out of her room. I was a new immature Dad believer. It scared her so bad as a child.
God knows ALL and in His mercy He allows for us to learn step by step - we are all babes in the gospel at one time and from there we grow as we seek Christ and learn of Him - God graciously allows this progress and forgives and helps us on our way. Dear charlynesimms9451, I believe those who will be faced with taking or rejecting the mark of the beast will not be any of us who are IN Christ today! I believe, as says Scripture, that members of the Body of Christ will be gathered together with Jesus in the middle of the air before the beginning of the tribulation! Those who are left behind once the TRUE CHURCH of this current grace dispensation (see Ephesians 3:2) has been removed must then make a choice to worship Jesus Christ or the Antichrist, and we are not NOW living in the 70th week of Daniel (7 years of the tribulation) as of yet! The Tribulation will begin when a 7 year covenant is signed by the Beast system with Israel, which the Antichrist will renege on in the second half of the 7 years (the second 3 1/2 years) and THEN the second beast (the False Prophet) will cause those who at that time to worship the Beast and to receive a mark in their right hand or forehead! Please see Revelation 13:11 through verse 18! Currently, true members of the Body of Christ are in no danger of taking the mark of the Beast, which is 666! The 70th week of Daniel (the Tribulation) has not yet begun!❤
Near where my daughter and son-in-law live is a Mormon Temple with this huge golden angel on top of the building! It is Moroni, just as Pastor John teaches about in this sermon starting in about 27:03! Both my daughter and husband have lived their for about 17 years along with my 15 year old granddaughter, and that building was not there at first!
These are everywhere which indicates Hebrew 12:27 is coming so Jesus Christ Church can continue to thrive is what i get from this sermon, to be polite.

Eunuchs are same sex couples. One partner is transgender. Transgender is when someone is born with a gender opposite the sex characteristics normally associated with that gender. God made us male or female, determined by gender, located in the brain.

I am Elijah of Malachi 4:5-6 and that means any discrepancies in the bible are ultimately decided by me. Plus, it states in Deuteronomy that nobody was castrated back then. No! Verse nine is about Jesus Christ resurrection of Moses, after he died, Christ disputing with satan over whom Moses's sovereignty residents.
A second witness to why Moses was present at the Mt. of transfiguration with the prophet Elijah.
Moses and Elijah are both Archetypes.
Moses of those who fell asleep in God and are resurrected in the first resurrection, and Elijah, of those who are alive and remain at the second coming of Jesus Christ in all his glory, with all of his holy angels with him.

And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Beth-peor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day."

"Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee."
John MacArthur didn't have a theory, as to why the devil disputed with the Archangel, Michael, concerning the body of Moses.
Here's my guess.
The Two Witnesses, of Revelation, are Elijah and Moses, in my estimation. Enoch is a type of the Rapture, therefore he will never die. Elijah was taken up to heaven, in a fiery chariot. Elijah was translated, body, soul, and spirit. Now, consider this...
Moses struck the Rock, that brought forth water, TWICE, in disobedience, instead of speaking to the Rock. This error, I believe, will cause Moses to die TWICE, due to going against the specific type of Christ, who is the Water of Life, and was smitten by God, ONCE.
The Devil, being the "accuser of the brethren," objected to Michael, retrieving the bones of Moses, which were to be joined with his soul and spirit. The Devil didn't appreciate this exception, but then we learn this, from the gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke -
Matthew 17:3-4 (KJV)
"And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias, talking with him.
Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias."
It is assumed that both these men, Moses and Elijah, are standing in the presence of Christ, as complete men - body, soul, and spirit - not just Elijah.
This demands that Moses had to be translated, when his bones were unearthed by Michael, and yes, will die TWICE, during the middle of the Tribulation. THIS is an exception. The truth still stands, "It is appointed unto men ONCE to die, and after this, the judgment."
God is allowed to make exceptions.

Completely disagree. First of all, accuracy and punctuation are in question. Did the angels have anything to do with the law? No, especially in chapter 6, therefore no hidden meaning.
