I’ll be honest when I first found this man on UA-cam I didn’t like listening to his preaches. Now I can’t get enough. I listen everyday even when I drive I put his perches and listen. Thank you so much for all your hard work
👍 actually this godly pastor is one of a kind , I have been in their congregation a couple of times , and I'm so impressed by his humbleness , if you're walking in the property and if you see him , he greets you and talks to you like another regular person , that if someone doesn't know him , they do not even imagine that he's the main pastor of that church , he is not surrended by bodyguard protecting him or anything like that , as if he was a great magnate , no , he's well well said , you see christ in his face , I praise the Lord for him and his congregation .
Same experience! When I first saw him I wasn't converted and his preaching irritated me! Fast forward 20 years later, he and R.C. Sproul are responsible for the majority of my spiritual growth in the faith! 🙏😔✝️

He is completely wrong in his understanding of "Babylon", it is not a greedy commercial enterprise or way of life, the riches and luxury are only one facet of its identity, there are other things to consider. Babylon the Harlot is FALSE RELIGION including all of Christendom's denominations that have taught false pagan doctrines for centuries, Revelation 17 and 18 give a detailed accurate description of "Babylon the Great" and its identity.

Look elsewhere, Calvinism is not the way. Unless you believe Jesus only came for the people he pre elected. He has a silver tongue yet lies. Gives half truths. Calvinism believes contradict Bible passages like John 3:16 that says “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, so that whosoever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.” (emphasis mine) or 1 Timothy 2:4-6 which says “[God] wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. Babylon the Harlot is papal Rome, the apostate church, also called an adultress. And one must at least need to be betrothed to commit adultery. Praying to saints is spiritual fornication, the harlotry of betraying the first love of Christ. This view harmonizes with Rev. 13, 17, Dan. 2,7,9,11, and all the apocalyptic literature.
Actually the Harlot that sits on many waters (i.e. societies) is papal Rome. Only a betrothed bride to be can commit spiritual adultery, and praying saints God clearly deems as adultery. In Rev.13, the first beast (i.e. ungodly person or system) is secular Rome, which was mortally wounded by Odoacer in AD476. The beast then was revived as papal Rome that resumed martyring Christians. This exposition fully harmonizes with Dan.2,7,9 and 11.

It has nothing to do with global commerce or finances as Macarthur thinks, the truth is much deeper in meaning. Revelation is highly symbolic, for example, it mentions a woman with the name “Babylon the Great” written on her forehead. The term “city” indicates an organized group of people. This woman is said to be sitting on “crowds and nations.” (Revelation 17:1, 5, 15) Since no LITERAL woman could do this, Babylon the Great must be symbolic. At Rev. 17:18 it says that this "woman" has a "kingdom over the kings of the earth" so she must represent a global organization with great influence on governments and is a kind of an empire. This "woman" can't be a political empire, she is said to have committed "sexual relations" with the "kings of the earth" which means governments, political elements. She is not a commercial empire since the merchants are seen "standing at a distance" mourning her destruction along with the "kings" or nations. Ancient Babylon was noted for being the birthplace of numerous false religious beliefs and practices that were then spread across the world so evidence proves that "Babylon the Great" is a religious empire! Idk on where to even start here, but 1st of all im a believer in Jesus christ 🙏 my lord and savior. By I need prayers right now I'm so confused on where I am right now in my life right now, I'm trying to keep the faith, the struggles are real in this world, as I go day by day and night by night its like im trying to make it in to heaven and I really do hope thati make it , but I feel like im walking through hell with all of the temptation and stuff that I struggle with here in this world. I know that I can not be alone going through these things. I'm alone and I hate being single, im 31 going on 32 here soon, I feel like im at war with myself and with the world and some of my friends here lately and I don't like this path or whatever is going on here lately. I know that I don't read every day and I know that I need and want too, and I have not been to church in awhile. I lost my dad in Nov of 2018 like right in front of me, I feel like im still struggling with his loss and I just miss him so much. I was raised up in church as a baby ,as a young boy, and as a young man, I got saved and bathtiazed when I was 7 years old. I'm confused of these times that we are in. I thought for a minute that I had some of it figured out but then things in our country and our world just got so crazy and evil, and I hope that as a country we here in the usa 🇺🇸 are not done completely yet, and I hope that God 🙏 almighty is not done with us yet either. I'm a trump fan, and idk about you all but I don't like this bad crazy evil movie that we are living in right now. I feel like we are in away in the back of the book in the Bible, man it's self has tooken out and added things to the Bible which is not good at all so it makes you wonder which one that we are reading from. Man has tooken alot our happiness for along time now and I'm fed up with it. Alot of other things have been weighting on me, like the killer poison vaccine shot that I will never ever take for as long as I live, let's just leave that subject right there for now. But like I said I'm 31 going on 32 and I have a bad back and sadly I'm facing back surgery but I'm trying to put it off as long as I can. I hate my job of where I am working at,but I can't leave that job until I figure out what I'm going to do with my back issues. So yeah I'm in need of much prayers, of guidance, direction, to have my head clear to be able to make better decisions about my life and my walk with God especially but also myself. I also don't want to go down another dark path, like I did a few years a go where let's just say I was in a dark place in my head. I'm also not sure on the rapture because it's not in the Bible, but I want it to be ture, but I've also heard that it was another name for it. Hang in there Amos, you are not alone. The Lord through His Holy Spirit is with you always, that is His promise to every child of God. As already mentioned read the Word of God daily, even if it’s just one chapter, His word gives us spiritual strength. Pray daily as well, that helps us draw near to God, if we draw near to God , He will draw near to us. Commit all your cares to Him for He cares for you. Whenever you get discouraged, tell the Lord about it, and read Psalm 23. We all have been where you are, you are not alone. I pray the Lord will heal your back.🙏🏽✝️ God bless you dear one.

It CAME in 70 AD @truth be told The 144,000 were ALL Jews that became believers and they along with the gentile believers all fled to the mountains of Pella in 70 AD just before the Great Tribulation started. They heard the wailing of the two witnesses that walked around Jerusalem warning of the impending destruction and when they "saw Jerusalem surrounded by armies" , they knew from Jesus' warnings that her destruction was near. They rode out the Great Tribulation at Pella. There was 1290 days from the destruction of the temple until the Roman armies left Jerusalem. However, some of the armies remained in the vicinity of Jerusalem for an additional 45 days and anyone who returned to Jerusalem during this time was taken as a slave. The believers WAITED until 1335 days had passed, because they knew their Scriptures and the warnings, before they returned to Jerusalem. The Roman armies left the area completely at dusk on the 1335 day from the destruction of the temple. This fulfilled Daniel's prophecy: "Blessed are those who wait and come to the end of 1335 days." The millennium was 96 AD to 1096 AD. We are living in the age to come that came. Jesus is reigning from His throne in NEW Jerusalem. It's Spiritual. But from the Spiritual realm He rules on earth. Those without oil, without Spiritual eyes, can not see it or understand it.

So, if it wasn't the Catholic/Orthodox church, guided by the Holy Spirit, that compiled the 27 books of the NT in the 5th century, just 75 years AFTER the council of Nicaea which began the Trinitarian doctrine, and then with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and preserved these scriptures by laboriously hand copying them over and over throughout the centuries before the invention of the printing press, the “rule of faith” for many, please tell us, show us, who did? And if this church no longer exists today, what good is the text which came forth from her if she couldn't sustain herself?
The Spirit of Babylon is in most Christian churches today. Churches have become places for sinners to go so that they can feel good about themselves. As the Serpent told Eve, "Surely, you wont die." The church fails to teach that Christian sinners are stuck in their sins because of their insecerity and lukewarmness towards God.
This gentleman is the first pastor that I have Heard of that believes Babylon is not America. I pray that people in this country stop pointing fingers at every other nation and recognize all the negative things that have been done and are still going on in this country. If I told you who Babylon is, I hope your sitting down. You wouldnt believe me. Its quite simple really. Look at old Jerusalem. The Romans set her ablaze in a.d.70. She was a whore intoxicated with riches and commerce with a bunch of racketeers running the temple precincts. Jesus had some scathing remarks leveled at these covenant breakers in Matt.23. And in the very next chapter 24 everything Jesus cited came to pass .Judgement fell hard. 1.1 million people perished in this upheaval. The old covenant came crashing down and the new covenant was born. Daniel chapter 2:44-45.

Anyone who knows their Bible inside and out and truly desires to serve God would go far away from Catholicism ASAP. Catholicism is just filled with manmade traditions that contradict Christ's teachings. And being such traditionalists they resemble Pharisees to a T. I remember one of the very first official p*rn sites on the internet was called Babylon. Sometimes I wonder if it is referring to the internet being the "location". How many young Christian men have been destroyed by those sites? How many women have decided to sell their bodies for that life. The kings all over the world have indulged in it as well. I mean how do you describe the internet to people thousands of years ago? A lot of the book of Revelation must be interpreted, as is the same of any dreams in the Bible and any visions. The book of Revelation is a vision of John, so again it requires interpretation.

So in Revelation 18 Babylon is referring to Jerusalem because Jerusalem was the only nation that was in a covenant relationship with God. And when you go back to Revelation chpt. 17 it mentions Fornication Revelation 17:2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. Fornication in this context is not sexual Fornication but spiritual Fornication Jerusalem was in a Covenant relationship with the Lord because the whore was arrayed with the same colored robe as the old Testament high priest robes and on her forehead says Mystery Babylon the mother of harlots the opposite of the Old Testament high priest who wore a golden crown on his head with a ribbon with a engravement on it that says Holiness To God. (All Jewish Symbols) This is all the same thing that Jesus is describing in Matthew chapter 23 when he was rebuking the Pharisees. Before the Romans destroyed Jerusalem God was showing them signs in the sky that started in 66ad to 70Ad And one of God's 2 witnesses was in Jerusalem according to the Antiquities of Flavius Josephus a man by the name of Jesus Ben Ananias for 7 years in Jerusalem crying Woe unto Jerusalem Woe unto Jerusalem but it was business and life as usual in Jerusalem until all of a sudden peace was taken away from Jerusalem and the war in 70Ad was the beginning of sorrows because the wars commenced from 115ad through 1967ad the 6 day war this was the great tribulation that Jesus was describing in Matthew chapter 24 there is no future tribulation period because Jesus said when he does finally return they will be eating and drinking and marrying and giving in marriage until the flood came and took them away. Daniel chpt.9 has nothing to do with the great tribulation the Angel told Daniel in verse 24 of Daniel chapter 9 that God has given his people Israel 6 promises Daniel 9:24 24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. And with all those promises the only one that can fulfill that promise is Jesus Christ and these promises were within the Covenant and Jesus fulfilled the New Covenant for Israel and not just Israel but for the whole world. There is nothing in those promises about some Antichrist signing a peace treaty with Israel that is no where in the Bible and it is a great misconception of scriptures The only thing that the scriptures says about another person other than the Messiah Daniel 26 and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. This is referring to the Abomination desolation that Jesus spoke about in Matthew chapter 24 and it occurred in 70Ad There is no Antichrist to come to sit in a Temple and say that he is God because the veil of the old temple in Jerusalem was destroyed by the power of God it was rent into from top to bottom signifying no more blood offerings and sacrifices and once Jesus died on the cross the presence of God left that Temple and that would be the last temple on Earth they would be considered as the temple of God because now because of Jesus God will no longer dwell in temples made by hands. 👍 actually this godly pastor is one of a kind , I have been in their congregation a couple of times , and I'm so impressed by his humbleness , if you're walking in the property and if you see him , he greets you and talks to you like another regular person , that if someone doesn't know him , they do not even imagine that he's the main pastor of that church , he is not surrended by bodyguard protecting him or anything like that , as if he was a great magnate , no , he's well well said , you see christ in his face , I praise the Lord for him and his congregation .

He is completely wrong in his understanding of "Babylon", it is not a greedy commercial enterprise or way of life, the riches and luxury are only one facet of its identity, there are other things to consider.
Babylon the Harlot is FALSE RELIGION including all of Christendom's denominations that have taught false pagan doctrines for centuries, Revelation 17 and 18 give a detailed accurate description of "Babylon the Great" and its identity.

In order to identify "Mystery Babylon" we have to know what ancient Babylon was most noted for to see what the connection is. It has nothing to do with global commerce or finances as Macarthur thinks, the truth is much deeper in meaning.
Revelation is highly symbolic, for example, it mentions a woman with the name “Babylon the Great” written on her forehead. The term “city” indicates an organized group of people. This woman is said to be sitting on “crowds and nations.” (Revelation 17:1, 5, 15) Since no LITERAL woman could do this, Babylon the Great must be symbolic.
At Rev. 17:18 it says that this "woman" has a "kingdom over the kings of the earth" so she must represent a global organization with great influence on governments and is a kind of an empire.
This "woman" can't be a political empire, she is said to have committed "sexual relations" with the "kings of the earth" which means governments, political elements.
She is not a commercial empire since the merchants are seen "standing at a distance" mourning her destruction along with the "kings" or nations.
Ancient Babylon was noted for being the birthplace of numerous false religious beliefs and practices that were then spread across the world so evidence proves that "Babylon the Great" is a religious empire! Religions have long meddled in government affairs with strong influence on policies even blessing the weapons of war.
She is a collection of the world's FALSE religions and the most reprehensible part is CHRISTENDOM, all denominations that have taught false beliefs for centuries! The nations, the symbolic 7 headed beast, will destroy these false religions as Revelation 18 vividly describes! Heed the warning at Rev. 18:4.

Idk on where to even start here, but 1st of all im a believer in Jesus christ 🙏 my lord and savior. By I need prayers right now I'm so confused on where I am right now in my life right now, I'm trying to keep the faith, the struggles are real in this world, as I go day by day and night by night its like im trying to make it in to heaven and I really do hope thati make it , but I feel like im walking through hell with all of the temptation and stuff that I struggle with here in this world. I know that I can not be alone going through these things. I'm alone and I hate being single, im 31 going on 32 here soon, I feel like im at war with myself and with the world and some of my friends here lately and I don't like this path or whatever is going on here lately. I know that I don't read every day and I know that I need and want too, and I have not been to church in awhile. I lost my dad in Nov of 2018 like right in front of me, I feel like im still struggling with his loss and I just miss him so much. I was raised up in church as a baby ,as a young boy, and as a young man, I got saved and bathtiazed when I was 7 years old. I'm confused of these times that we are in. I thought for a minute that I had some of it figured out but then things in our country and our world just got so crazy and evil, and I hope that as a country we here in the usa 🇺🇸 are not done completely yet, and I hope that God 🙏 almighty is not done with us yet either. I'm a trump fan, and idk about you all but I don't like this bad crazy evil movie that we are living in right now. I feel like we are in away in the back of the book in the Bible, man it's self has tooken out and added things to the Bible which is not good at all so it makes you wonder which one that we are reading from. Man has tooken alot our happiness for along time now and I'm fed up with it. Alot of other things have been weighting on me, like the killer poison vaccine shot that I will never ever take for as long as I live, let's just leave that subject right there for now. But like I said I'm 31 going on 32 and I have a bad back and sadly I'm facing back surgery but I'm trying to put it off as long as I can. I hate my job of where I am working at,but I can't leave that job until I figure out what I'm going to do with my back issues. So yeah I'm in need of much prayers, of guidance, direction, to have my head clear to be able to make better decisions about my life and my walk with God especially but also myself. I also don't want to go down another dark path, like I did a few years a go where let's just say I was in a dark place in my head. I'm also not sure on the rapture because it's not in the Bible, but I want it to be ture, but I've also heard that it was another name for it. Hang in there Amos, you are not alone. The Lord through His Holy Spirit is with you always, that is His promise to every child of God. As already mentioned read the Word of God daily, even if it’s just one chapter, His word gives us spiritual strength. @truth be told The 144,000 were ALL Jews that became believers and they along with the gentile believers all fled to the mountains of Pella in 70 AD just before the Great Tribulation started. They heard the wailing of the two witnesses that walked around Jerusalem warning of the impending destruction and when they "saw Jerusalem surrounded by armies" , they knew from Jesus' warnings that her destruction was near. They rode out the Great Tribulation at Pella. There was 1290 days from the destruction of the temple until the Roman armies left Jerusalem. However, some of the armies remained in the vicinity of Jerusalem for an additional 45 days and anyone who returned to Jerusalem during this time was taken as a slave. The believers WAITED until 1335 days had passed, because they knew their Scriptures and the warnings, before they returned to Jerusalem. The Roman armies left the area completely at dusk on the 1335 day from the destruction of the temple. This fulfilled Daniel's prophecy: "Blessed are those who wait and come to the end of 1335 days."
The millennium was 96 AD to 1096 AD.

John MacArthur sounds very plausible and very nice. He is looking out for your best interests.. . My sister popped into a car showroom and saw a car she liked. The salesman was very nice and because she was such a nice young lady he even gave her a discount saving more than 10% . She was just about to sign when she remembered her friend was dating a mechanic and decided to ask him to look over it before she decided . The following week he did and told her it was a death trap and under the shiny bonnet it would cost a huge amount to put it right. .... Before following John MacArthur check his claims out with someone who knows about Catholicism and the bible . It will cost you more than your life. YOUR SOUL

Anyone who knows their Bible inside and out and truly desires to serve God would go far away from Catholicism ASAP. Catholicism is just filled with manmade traditions that contradict Christ's teachings. And being such traditionalists they resemble Pharisees to a T. The one repeated lesson over and over and over of Christs to avoid imitating.

Are you in question concerning John MacArthur and his teaching? I have some thoughts about His actual relationship with Christ- but your story above leaves me a little bit wondering what your point is.

You are accusing those who “ask” for prayers as worshiping. Jesus commanded us to pray for one another.

Those in heaven are not dead. They are more alive then us. Scripture says the prayers of a righteous man avail much. Those in heavens prayers are more powerful than ours as they are perfected and righteous. There is only one Body of Christ where Jesus is the head. There is not one in Heaven and a separate body on earth. People are not in soul sleep when they die. Elijah and Moses appeared at the mount of transfiguration. Jesus told to good thief he would be in paradise with Jesus today.
When was your church started? Probably a few decades ago. Where did your Bible come from? Did it fall from Heaven with a Table of Contents? No, the official canon of scripture was declared by Pope Damasus circa 390AD.

Protestants have always pointed to Rome as Babylon and the papacy as seat of the antichrist. It's what propelled some papal kingdoms in Europe to break away from Rome e.g England and it's what got protestants excommunicated. The pope didn't want to leave his seat

I remember one of the very first official p*rn sites on the internet was called Babylon. Sometimes I wonder if it is referring to the internet being the "location".
How many young Christian men have been destroyed by those sites? How many women have decided to sell their bodies for that life. The kings all over the world have indulged in it as well.
I mean how do you describe the internet to people thousands of years ago? A lot of the book of Revelation must be interpreted, as is the same of any dreams in the Bible and any visions. The book of Revelation is a vision of John, so again it requires interpretation.

So my point is when you carefully read the previous verses of scripture Jesus is rebuking the Pharisees for they are charged with shedding all the innocent blood from righteousness Abel to Zacharias son of Barachias and unto all the bloodshed upon the earth.
So in Revelation 18 Babylon is referring to Jerusalem because Jerusalem was the only nation that was in a covenant relationship with God.
And when you go back to Revelation chpt. 17 it mentions Fornication

With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
Fornication in this context is not sexual Fornication but spiritual Fornication Jerusalem was in a Covenant relationship with the Lord because the whore was arrayed with the same colored robe as the old Testament high priest robes and on her forehead says Mystery Babylon the mother of harlots the opposite of the Old Testament high priest who wore a golden crown on his head with a ribbon with a engravement on it that says Holiness To God. (All Jewish Symbols)
This is all the same thing that Jesus is describing in Matthew chapter 23 when he was rebuking the Pharisees.
Before the Romans destroyed Jerusalem God was showing them signs in the sky that started in 66ad to 70Ad And one of God's 2 witnesses was in Jerusalem according to the Antiquities of Flavius Josephus a man by the name of Jesus Ben Ananias for 7 years in Jerusalem crying Woe unto Jerusalem Woe unto Jerusalem but it was business and life as usual in Jerusalem until all of a sudden peace was taken away from Jerusalem and the war in 70Ad was the beginning of sorrows because the wars commenced from 115ad through 1967ad the 6 day war this was the great tribulation that Jesus was describing in Matthew chapter 24 there is no future tribulation period because Jesus said when he does finally return they will be eating and drinking and marrying and giving in marriage until the flood came and took them away.
Daniel chpt.9 has nothing to do with the great tribulation the Angel told Daniel in verse 24 of Daniel chapter 9 that God has given his people Israel 6 promises

24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
And with all those promises the only one that can fulfill that promise is Jesus Christ and these promises were within the Covenant and Jesus fulfilled the New Covenant for Israel and not just Israel but for the whole world.
There is nothing in those promises about some Antichrist signing a peace treaty with Israel that is no where in the Bible and it is a great misconception of scriptures
The only thing that the scriptures says about another person other than the Messiah

and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
This is referring to the Abomination desolation that Jesus spoke about in Matthew chapter 24 and it occurred in 70Ad
There is no Antichrist to come to sit in a Temple and say that he is God because the veil of the old temple in Jerusalem was destroyed by the power of God it was rent into from top to bottom signifying no more blood offerings and sacrifices and once Jesus died on the cross the presence of God left that Temple and that would be the last temple on Earth they would be considered as the temple of God because now because of Jesus God will no longer dwell in temples made by hands.

THE book of Revelation contains expressions that are not to be understood literally. (Revelation 1:1) For example, it mentions a woman with the name “Babylon the Great” written on her forehead. This woman is said to be sitting on “crowds and nations.” (Revelation 17:1, 5, 15) Since no literal woman could do this, Babylon the Great must be symbolic. So, what does this symbolic prostitute represent?
At Revelation 17:18, the same figurative woman is described as “the great city that has a kingdom over the kings of the earth.” The term “city” indicates an organized group of people. Since this “great city” has control over “the kings of the earth,” the woman named Babylon the Great must be an influential organization that is international in scope. It can rightly be called a world empire.
An empire can be political, commercial, or religious. The woman named Babylon the Great is not a political empire because God’s Word states that “the kings of the earth,” or the political elements of this world, “committed sexual immorality” with her.
She has practiced such immorality by forming alliances with the rulers of this earth and has done whatever is necessary in order to gain power and influence over them. That is why she is called “the great prostitute.”-Revelation 17:1, 2; James 4:4.
Babylon the Great cannot be a commercial empire because “the merchants of the earth,” representing the commercial elements, will be mourning her at the time of her destruction. In fact, both kings and merchants are described as looking at Babylon the Great from “a distance.” (Revelation 18:3, 9, 10, 15-17) Therefore, it is reasonable to conclude that Babylon the Great is, not a political or a commercial empire, but a religious one!
The religious identity of Babylon the Great is further confirmed by the statement that she misleads all the nations by means of her “spiritistic practices.” (Revelation 18:23) Since all forms of spiritism are religious and demon-inspired, it is not surprising that the Bible calls Babylon the Great “a dwelling place of demons.” (Revelation 18:2; Deuteronomy 18:10-12)
This empire is also described as being actively opposed to true religion, persecuting “prophets” and “holy ones.” (Revelation 18:24) In fact, Babylon the Great has such deep hatred for true religion that she violently persecutes and even murders “the witnesses of Jesus.” (Revelation 17:6) Hence, this woman named Babylon the Great clearly represents the world empire of false religion.
Pastor J McArthur is a good biblical pastor. But he removes/deletes our comments when we show him his errors, like following the rcc in sunday worship and promoting it.

The Spirit of the AntiChrist is here, and dwells thru men in authority on this Earth. This Spirit of Antichrist is not limited by one man, and works thru many generations, until the one who embodies this spirit, in Gods timing, does those things which are written of in the word.
Everyone will bow before Christ but not everyone will bow before the Antichrist.
