  • Walk around Chevy/Cummins closer to completion. Still need to paint the hood and tailgate, clean up some wiring under the hood, finish the seats, make a rear bumper and pipe up the air conditioner tubing. Truck has 373 gears with a getrag 360 5speed. As of now the engine is stock @ at 160 hp. out of a 94' Dodge w/auto. Driven about 500 miles so far.

I chose the single headlight because it cleared the inner cooler better on the parking lights. I'm torn as well. I like the 85-88 quad headlight but I also like the 89-91 quad light as well.

I always liked the single round headlights and side marker up and down instead of side to side , like 73-79 ish

Nice Chevy! I like the use of the original crossmember. I also like that it's tidy under the hood and the paint looks great. These trucks used to be easy to come by, but now it's like finding a mythical beast if you want one in useable condition. My 90 3+3 is the truck I always wanted as a kid. Good Job I must say! I bet he spent a grip building this but has a truck worth more in dependable operation than any new truck. If it does have any issues he can also fix it I'm sure. No computers, no id

Sweet looking truck I have just started on mine same concept : box body chevy with a 6bt one thing you might want to do is put a 1 to 2 inch spacer between your carrier bearing and cross member it will save you u-joints over time the rear half of that driveshaft is on a pretty good angle

The tires are baha claws and are approx. 33x12.50. And yes I made the motor mounts. It wasnt a tough project, just took a couple years. It is a 4" lift. It drives great and quite inside the cab. The turbo sounds like a vacuum cleaner inside the cab. I love driving it. Tons of torque!

I'm not big on the chatter, but looks like it was well thought out and done right witch is what is most important. Since my opinion means squat in this matter I'm going to have to give it two thumbs up! Did you dynomat the interior complete I hope so, other wise you might have to drive around with aviation style headphones JK. Keep up the good work and get that a/c done right non-working a/c takes away BIG points from a project like that!
