I’m having trouble fellas. Going forward to back towards the rear seat, there’s a huge amount of play. Like I can lift up where the babies head will be and lift 8 inches. Am I doing it wrong or something?
Hi! Did you push the base towards the back of the seat once attached to the lower anchors? The rigid latch connectors have 4 positions, and will retract in further as you push. Aside from that, the other end of the base will lift up on most car seats. Tightness only needs to be checked at the belt path. The load leg helps limit that movement in a crash!
It feels too sloppy or loose without the clips connected. Too bad my car only has the clip receivers on the passenger side rear seat as i rather have the seat in the middle.
It is a bit long. I am 6’2’’ and I can’t put my seat all the way back. It is recommended that there is some gap between the seat and the car seat base so I have installed it behind the passenger seat.
The load leg is not supposed to be on your car mat. You need to remove the rug too, not just the mud mat. Folks, make sure you read the official nuna instructions, guide, and all recommendations provided with your car seat and base. It's too important of a subject matter to rely on others well meaning but not fully correct information (also echoing the other comments' concerns about using the seatbelt and latch).
I appreciate your video but you cannot use both latch install AND seat belt install. This is unsafe. It is one or the other. Please edit or remove this video. Very unsafe advice.
Amanda Bleichner you are incorrect! You CAN use both the rigid latch and the seat belt restraints at the same time if you choose to or you can use one or the other per the Nuna Pipa Relx base instruction manual. Please edit or remove YOUR erroneous comment. See instruction manual page 31.

@@arleneingraffia3962 the manual on page 31 shows the seat belt latch folded in while the belt goes over the base i am confused on your comment indicating you can’t use both?
This is directly from their website found here: Is it OK to install the base with both the vehicle seat belt and the lower rigid anchors (LATCH)? Yes. Installing with both is OK-but it does not improve the performance of the installation. We have done additional crash testing to make sure that both methods are safe- even when used together. Thanks for making this video!
Very helpful. Thank you
You don't need to use both latch system and belt, it should be either not both at once. Great job on the video though.
Some car seats it’s safe. It depends on the car seat and always read the manual
Thank you so much for your video. Mucho help
Very informative 👏
Which nuna pipa infant car seat is this rx,r or lite r?

Bro - this video just helped me so much! THANK YOU!
Do you use both the seat belt and anchors to secure the base?
Not required but I did it for peace of mind
some car seats you can do both, some you can’t! always make sure to read your car seats manual!
Thank you for the video
Thanks for the video. Does the car seat sit firmly in the base or does it have a couple of inch of play (mostly side to side)?
I just installed it and it's wobbly from side to side, definitely has wiggle room... Is this good or bad?

How far back can the driver’s seat be set back for taller drivers? Looks like the base is long.

Using our thighs is what got our wifes pregnant
Hopefully the base doesnt pop out a kid in 9 months
using the seatbelt is not an extra safety. you use one or the other. seatbelt or latch not both.
Read the directions… it says it is acceptable to use both.
Dumbass
Nothing wrong with a fail safe or redundancy in case things fail.
