As a singer and dancer, I look at Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor like...one is a qawwali and one is a ghazal. Ranbir Kapoor is a ghazal, he has that natural poetry because of his eyes, his "ease," his fluidity, something that comforts you when you need warmth and stillness. Ranveer Singh is like a qawwali, versatile, vibrant, chameleon-like, yet still pensive, meditative, kind of like a trance yet full of exuberance. Can't compare the ghazal and qawwali genres, you can only sit back and enjoy :)
Ranveer is honestly always under scrutiny, despite his memorable performances. While Ranbir seems to earn a pass, despite his failures. I think people have a soft spot because of movies like Barfi, Rockstar and Tamasha. Whereas Ranveer constantly has to prove himself. Overall, i think Ranveer has won me over more times. But, Ranbir can make you forget all that with one hard-hitting performance.
I feel like because Ranveer hasn't given any performances or movies that have had the kind of connection with the audience that Ranbir did with Rockstar, Barf, etc
The way ranbir portrayed sanjay dutt in sanju and ranveer transforming into kapil dev is something which they both have set the boundaries high!....shows how versatile they're
@@sunnychoudhary1323What Ranveer did is called a caricature or mimicry, which should be avoided while acting. Ranbir avoided caricature as Hirani too asked him to avoid it, look at his eyes and expressions, the way he emoted each phase of Sanju's life, that's acting at it's best
@@sunnychoudhary1323 putting on weight, imbibing the sanju's soul on screen is even more harder than depicting kapil dev on screen & Ranbir did that with so much ease much better than parody portrayal of ranveer in 83
The main difference between their acting is that Ranbir can act effortlessly as the character script demands whereas Ranveer makes extra effort to make character more memorable in his own way. (Both are amazing)
From my experience I can tell you that ranbir shahid and hrithik never disappoint me with their individual performances in their movies despite movie is good or bad.
Ranbir Kapoor achieved Greatness for me When he Did Barfi. Engaging Audiences even without speaking a Single word is Acting Skill of the Highest Order. Ranbir is way superior to his other contemporaries. PERIOD
Same can be said about ranveer in padmavat though he created a evil which is flamboyant it's personal choice on which one but definitely not taking the cake on performances
@@divineflu34567the only master performance by ranveer is padmavat but ranbir did it 3 times rockstar, sanju and barfi ranveer is not even close to what ranbir can do
Ranvir has so much range and I think he really shines in negative roles whereas Ranbir Kapoor is effortless and has a good selection of scripts as mentioned here. And not to mention Ranvir Singh's infectious energy, that's a plus for me, Always rooting for Ranvir, any day, all day but but but Rockstar 😭😭😭😭 Ranbir is cemented as a GOAT in my head no matter what he makes and what he does, that one movie is all I want from his entire filmography
Like you said, Ranbir’s ability to lead us on spiritual journeys through characters like Ved and Jordan is truly exceptional. Your comparison of these roles to personal diaries is brilliantly insightful. Bravo for your insightful critique! 👏
His movies are often re watchable something he should get more credit for i would say he works with director who is known for giving something original and new to the audiance
@@Besties591yeah what was bad in brahmastra? It was a very different film for the indian cinema ..... Yeah the dialogues were off and the climax was weak but that doesn't make brahmastra a bad concept..... They were trying to create something new ..... Wait for the other 2 parts of brahmastra... Ranveer is hated for his appearances off screen but as an actor ranveer is far more superior because of the comic timing Ranbir cannot make you laugh like ranveer, in intense roles both are equal
Both Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh are incredibly talented actors with their own unique styles and strengths. It ultimately comes down to personal preference, as both have delivered remarkable performances. Ranbir is known for his nuanced and natural acting, while Ranveer is celebrated for his versatility and energy on screen. I lean towards Ranbir because I grew up watching his movies, and I appreciate the depth he brings to his characters. His performances in films like "Barfi," "Rocket Singh," and "Wake Up Sid" have left a lasting impact on me.
Both are good but Ranbir's acting just hits different. Its the conviction with which he portrays really complex emotions that make his movies rewatchable even after a long time. I will never forget the first time I watched Tamasha. Ved's character is a testament to all of us who have at some point in our life done things to please others even though our heart lay elsewhere. Personally for me the characters Ranbir has portrayed over the years (Ved, JJ, Barfi) will forever be etched in my memory.
Ranbir has the ability to say so much in the scene without saying anything and the way he manages to make an impact in the scenes which do not have much in them . For example the confrontation scene before the interval in Tamasha 🔥
Ranbir is an actor of depth and Ranveer is an actor of range... I really loved Ranveer in lootera I wanna see him more in those kind of roles... and i can't get over Ranbir in Tamasha I mean nobody could play that role better than him ... also wake up Sid my personal Favourite ❤
Ranbir has been my favorite actor in Bollywood for a while. His performance in Tamasha was my favorite performance of his and I think Animal will change that. With that being said, I also love Ranveer Singh but I'm a Ranbir fan all the way.
I get it why people choose Ranbir over Ranveer because Ranbir doesnt involve in any outside events after his film shooting and is generally reserved and quiet. @@tejaswinithukral6534 ranveer's downfall has taken you too in the zone of frustation, so these sorts of insecured hatred shits about Ranbir can be expected from you 😆 First of all talking about about versatility , only performing period films with one Bhansali doesn’t make you the better actor, always relying on unnecessary irritating loudness & overeccentric nature doesn’t make you the BETTER actor. This just proves Ranveer's LIMITATION as an actor. Ranbir on the hand can control his emotion whenever he wants(this is the biggest strength & gift) , he can flawlessly switches to another character within transient seconds which your Ranveer needs Thousands of preps🤣. Talking about Range & versatility Lets not talk about ICONICS Rockstar, barfi ( ranveer singh don't even have that quality as an actor to be extremely poised & nuanced to portray this type of character because he CAN'T control his expression, emotions & deliveries), Tamasha, & SANJU Lets talk about Animal, In a Single Film: Ranbir kapoor as " Ranvijay Singh Balbir" & ruthless " Aziz Haque " combinedly portrayed 6 different INSANE beyond perfection characterization with 6 different insane looks powered by his Exquisite Acting skills. Ranbir kapoor literally showed Diversity, Intensity, Range just in a Single film, i really Ranveer could do that in his entire life time🤣🤣🤣 Ranbir is light years ahead. PEACE
Ranveer is great but ..Ranbir .. man he is different..he is an Actor for the ages ..like raj Kapoor.. his movies transformed me ..his performances ..shaped me .. I can watch his movies again and again ..never getting bored .. crying in the emotional moments every time .. he gave voices to our inner turmoil.. through barfi , bunny , Janardan and ved ❤ he is the clear winner
Ranbir can express emotions by his eyes and voice alone. Ranbir's character like jordan, barfi , sid and especially ved has a lasting effect on my life❤

I am a Ranbir fangirl who has watched even Besharam and Roy in empty theaters. At the same time, being a true cinephile, I cannot dismiss Ranveer's performances in Lootera and Padmavat. I hate when people are so blind with their devotion towards one actor that they disregard the true talent of all contemporaries. When I tuned in your video, I said under my breath, "Please, Jammy, don't break my heart." And you didn't. You have, as always, critically analyzed and successfully stated how they are both good in their own ways, including areas they fall short. Amazing job!! ❤
Ranveer delivered when i didn't expect anything or i was in doubts about his performance💞... And other side in Ranbir i always find him hypnotising me on screen.. 🔥
Ranbir's potrayal of characters in movies like Rockstar, Barfi, tamasha and YJHD shakes your soul in inevitable way that you found it tough to diffentiate between your real life decisions and reel life decisions. Simply marvelous to look and experience such an acting talent 😎
As much as I am Ranbir fan, there is no denying that Ranveer is here to stay. And this debate will exist and the tides would change accordingly. Like if Don3 is set for release, we'll see few folks disqualifying Ranbir. Remember the 2010s when they completely ruled out Shahrukh owing to the Salman blockbusters and now it's totally SRK world.
I think Animal is going to be a massive gamechanger for Ranbir. So what if Ranveer has Don 3??? We don't even know if that script is any good or if it's any better than Don 1 and 2! Many times in many franchises the sequel movies tend to be far mediocre than the original movies. If Animal is a blockbuster, it will open MANY doors for Ranbir including opportunities as big as Don 3 or massive period movies or whatever.
Well it's not SRK world, it's South mass action flick world, remove SRK and put any one with those films and it will still make 500cr. Here th debate is for acting not box office. SRK still isn't doing acting worthy movies, he is just cashing on the mass cinema money.
Lol Don 3 without srk won't work. Srk era is still not finished yet these two tingus and even Salman cannot come close to srk. Srk still going to rule another 5 years.
Team Ranveer. Cannot forget his performance as Peshwa Bajirao. Plus his range as an actor is unparalleled. What he did in Gully Boy was next level. From Bittoo to Kabir in DDD, Khilji to Rocky- his versatility and talent is fantastic. PS: I like Ranbir too. Loved him in Wake Up Sid, Rocket Singh, Rockstar, Barfi and Jagga Jasoos. Definitely superstars in their own right.
These two are the only contemporary actors who have got equal versatility in all the genres with no debate. I want to see them in a movie together along with Deepika & Alia as cross opposite leads 😊 To be added: Another equally versatile contemporary actor would be Vicky Kaushal. Drama, biopic, love story, comedy, negative role, he has proven he can potray anything served
Ranvir is truly one of the best finds of Bollywood but there’s something Ranbir has and none of his contemporary actors has which is connecting to the audience to a personal level. Ranveer’s acting will definitely make you say "he’s a good actor" but Ranbir is different, he will literally make you feel that he’s one among us that we can relate to ourself or someone we know. Once the legendary Mani Ratnam said " if an actor can emote everything when a camera is focused only on their face, He/ she can perform any roles" and for Ranbir, close up shot is his home ground. Almost all his movies will have a tight close up shot because most directors knows this guy can act just with eyes.
I am not a ranbir fan.. but there is a true sufferer inside of him.. which was obvious when i saw him in Rajneeti scene, hugging katrina.. so good to see him embrace this dark inside.. I think Animal truly explores this.. (I am also one of the few people who loved Tamasha, i meant my friends i saw the movie with.. din't ) I also liked Sanju n how he played it..
Give us Ranveer any day. He is completely in his element in the filmi world and an unstoppable force. I used to hate his guts, but his choices of indie films make me appreciate the depth of his talent and sensitivity. ❤
Ranveer Singh always..... you can't stereotype/ categorise because he aced everything. Whenever I'm watching a RS movie it feels like I'm watching that specific character not RS. Versatile and hardworking. Just because he put efforts in preparation for a certain role that doesn't mean he's not good. He puts efforts to make it look effortless. He isolated himself for few days in order to prepare for Padmaavat. He nailed the performance with sheer perfection. Also he rocked his character in RRKPK which is a masala commercial movie. He's also able to deliver good at box office despite being an outsider. At the end the QUALITY of acting matters and RS is 100/100 in all of his movies. Voice, personality, acting.... all his movies are different from another. Very few people have that. That's RS as an actor.
I'm on team Ranveer. Although I absolutely love the performance of both the actors. His performance in Bajirao and Padmaavat blew it out of the park for me. He really camouflages himself into roles with ease and he aces the dialects with absolute perfection. Also, even if the movie or the script isn't great, I've never felt that Ranveer hasn't put his 200% into his roles. Although his box office run isn't as great at the moment, he made a comeback with Rocky aur Rani. Hopefully we get to see the actor rise again with respect to the box office. And like you said, he absolutely excelled in Lootera. I want to see him in similar roles again. With regards to Ranbir, he's seen decent success with Brahmastra and Tu Joothi. Animal is definitely going to be the cherry on top, can't wait for its release!
Same here, Ranveer Singh has never bored me in any of his movies. He just stole the show in Padmaavat. Ranbir is a talented actor too but I am not a fan of his generally repetitive roles, but I love it when he takes up scripts like Sanju or Animal. Ranveer needs more evil roles imo, I think that brings out the best in him, and what’s great is that he is not afraid to do it and always tries out diverse roles that challenge him. Team Ranveer always, but nothing against Ranbir. Plus point: Ranveer’s hair is majestic
@@anirudhagarwal2132 that's stupid bruh, actors are tge one acting, nothing to do with the director. Everyone acts good in his movies because his movies have good actors

These two are so vastly different that they should never be compared. But what amazes me is how their personal lives entwined with each other. Deepika-Ranbir relationship, and then they becoming best friends, Ranveer marrying Deepika, Ranbir marrying Alia and and Alia and Ranveer becoming besties. This is fate dude.
I think they’re both great actors that have strengths in different genres. Ranveer is perfect for historical or period films. Ranbir is perfect for mellow romantic films.
@@epeolatrist1652 I said mellow and romantic not romcom…barfi and rockstar are the genres I was aiming for w my comment. I can see how my comment got mistaken for romcom though 😭
For me Barfi was standout where Ranbir knocked it out of the park. I personally feel it would be really challenging even for seasoned actors to pull off that kind of role.
Having grown up watching abundance of talents of south india like Mohanlal and kamal hassan, and the lack of such versatile actors in Bollywood (barring AB and SRK ofcourse) who could portray anything onscreen with equal effortlessness be it comedy, action, romance, mass, heartbreak, you name it....had made to look upon Bollywood condescendingly. But watching Ranbir Kapoor was like an answer to this and a loud one at that. Watched in awe his performances in Rocket Singh, Rockstar, Barfi, Tamasha, Sanju... The easiness and charm of his in Barfi reminded performance of kamal hassan in movies like pushpak, apoorvasahodarangal...and the intensity and charisma in tamasha, rockstar reminded of awe inspiring performance of Mohanlal in Iruvar.... sadly both mohanlal and kamal hassan have limitations to the roles they can do now, while Ranbir Kapoor on the other hand has years ahead of him to do experiments with his acting....so Ranbir Kapoor is undoubtedly the most versatile and extremely talented actor in the Country in this era
I'm imagining what that feeling would be like when we get an announcement of a movie with both of them in it! I'LL LOSE MY MIND! I REALLY CANNOT COMPARE BETWEEN THESE TWO! TALENT OVERLOADED 🔥❤️
Imagine a multi-starrer flick with Ranbir, Ranvir, Kartik along with Alia, Kiara and Kriti. It will truly be the biggest startcast of current times. Come on Bollywood makers, make it happen before its too late.
Ranbir for me, simply because of the fact that Ranbir's potrayals stay with you for a long time, those eyes have the ability to draw you in and keep you hooked. Also, one of the most underrated dancer, probably the best of his generation. Although I must admit, Ranveer is way better in picking up accents and dialects, I haven't seen Ranbir experimenting with dialects.
I remember watching Rockstar for the first time when I was in 11th standard! I can never forget the experience I had. I became a Ranbir cheerer. Ranveer's Gully Boy is my favourite. This video analysis proves a fact:: WRITING, proper, perfect SCREENPLAY, is always important. It helps performance so much. I wish Ranbir tries something pure art movie once a while.
Ummm Ranbir not only TRIED but also EXCELLED in 'ART' movies several times beyond your imagination & beyond any other actor's range of this generation. Tamasha ( pure art), Rocket Singh (pure art), Barfi (pure art), jagga Jasoos (underrated art) Thanks manifold
Ranveer could potentially intensify his performances with lots of Chaos but Ranbir can intensify his performances with soo much calm around him, I believe that’s where both are so distinct
Ranbir over Ranveer any day, make a video on Shahid vs Ranbir, that would be very interesting to watch, these two are the finest actors of Bollywood today
I feel Kapoor does a formidable job portraying characters that impacts you psychologically. He aces the scenes of emotional turmoil and characters who are nuanced. Barfi, Sanju, jagga jasoos, tamasha and rockstar to name a few. Even In ydjd it was Bunny's internal aspirations and relationship conflicts that draws us to his character or the Naivety of Prem which is not one toned makes his character so memorable No one can deny Singh is exceptional and knows how to pull a character but I feel what he aces the most is high energy characters. His characters get embedded in you because they demand attention, be it Ram, Bittoo or the anti hero Khilji. His characters require energy and he brings that to the table. He doesn't make them look caricatrish, the best example being Rocky. He pulls it off so well. I personally love characters who challenges me psychologically so I lean towards Kapoor but as a theatric nerd I just can't unsee Singh. Just imagine Singh in a musical production.
I feel Ranveer is better because of the fact that Ranbir Kapoor himself stated this that because of his eyebrow structure on his face, his "no expression normal look" also expresses kind of sadness in his face, meaning he can pull off the roles of a sad, dejected or a serious character very easily, which actually restricts him to play other characters like happy, funny, etc. ( & hence his serious roles with films like rockstar, Tamasha, & to an extent YJHD became iconic films of his career which defined him as an actor) whereas Ranveer possesses the quality to do serious roles like Khilji & muraad & to do funny roles like simmba as well along with good romantic acting with films like lootera, ramleela, bajirao, etc. (Which was also pointed out as a quality by jammy himself at 4:17) Hence Ranveer Singh is not fixed with one dimensional characters & themes, he can pull off almost every genre But then also, when it comes to serious roles (and only serious roles, no any other genre), Ranbir shines than Ranveer on any given day
I had fun watching his Chaplin style antics in Barfi bro.. and just because the man himself says something doesn't really make it true.. it's like me saying, I have green eyes and a six pack like hrithik..
@@dhengey bro there's a thing existing in this world called "difference" ....that should be there between any two things, here in this case the two things are 'confidence' & 'over confidence' ... Confidence is knowing about your strengths & weaknesses, whereas overconfidence means bragging about something which you don't have... You can count the number of successful comedy films & number of successful "intense character films" or "serious roles" , the numbers itself will give you an answer... Having a personal liking is something different, I also like SRK mostly in action films rather than romantic, but that doesn't justify that he has been a king of romance & ruled over the romantic genre in which no one is close to him...so you also might like his performance in Barfi which is fine, I don't mind that, but saying a universal truth on that basis is something not justified
The ability to make eccentric characters relatable is what places RK above Ranveer. Ranveer gives good performances but usually his characters are relatable and a part of us. RK has aced the eccentric characters of Barfi, Jordan and Jagga making them memorable and loveable. I think this is a very rare talent and probably the only other actor acing this act is Johnny Depp.
I have seen Ranbir playing the best in the roles where he's being played by the girl , he gets depressed and the pattern continues, with Animal he's going to explore something new his performance in Brahmastra and Shamshera were extremely decent . With Ranveer he has played alot of different characters and done well in almost all of them . He can also play a mass avatar like Simbaa pretty good but with overacting sometimes. Ranveer has showed his range already Ranbir even though I think is a phenomenal actor he needs to get out of that depressed boy after the girl has left him character now and explore other projects. But because of his iconic roles like in Barfi , Tamasha , Rockstar I'm more of a Fan of Ranbir honestly.
@@RS-ri6seI have clearly mentioned the best roles he has played are those depressed guy characters. He was clearly very average in Brahmastra or Shamshera . I remember in Besharam ( worst movie of his ) he was pretty bad too. Rajneeti , Rocket Singh , Sanju were bit different than those and he was great in Sanju also.
I’d actually disagree here. You may not agree with me but i thought Ranbir was good in Rajneeti. While Ranveer Singh has lootera, Ranbir Kapoor was classy as a thief in Roy and a gangster in Bombay Velvet but obviously these two roles were ignored because of how badly they flopped at the box office…

P.s: One thing no one can deny is Ranbir with his eyes (just his eyes can show that pain, joy, anger) I m rooting for both ❤ May the best one wins
After Animal I would say rk is just phenomenal bro acted 4 different personalities in a movie and you can't even distinguished that he is the same guy who played ranvijay a moments ago is now aziz he is still a different breed
Ranveer has showcased versatility . Right from his first film. Ranbir in rock star is my all time fav but I find Ranveer to be a better actor. Take Lootera, Bajirao, Gullyboy, Padmavat, 83 - his body of work is vast but Ranbir seems stereotypical. I wish Ranveer gets picky and selects better scripts. Off late his choice of scripts is bad. But otherwise it’s Ranveer all the way for me
@AmulThakuriRanveer in Gully boy was so effortless and natural. I felt like I was watching a rapper's documentary, Ranbir has this subtle way of overdoing his scenes which may seem 'practiced' or stiff.
@AmulThakuri Ranveer is also good in comedy and emotional scenes. He was fab in Lootera. Romance - yes he is better than Ranveer but Ranbir cannot do a khilji like Ranveer.
@@daynight6860 agree with you! He is not called chameleon for no reason. He becomes the character. 🤣🤣 Same can be said with Ranbir as well. Ranveer has failed in Highly emotional, Romantic movies compared to Ranbir who is more versatile than RS. The mesmerizing eyes and the sheer emotions bursting out of Ranbir Kapoor cannot be matched whatsoever. No hate on Ranveer he's the master of his own tricks but I would pick Ranbir in a hearbeat. Also I believe Ranbir should've been casted as Don.
Ranbir is one of the all-time best actors of Bollywood. In Barfi, Rockstar, Tamasha, Rajneeti, YJHD and Wake up Sid Ranbir's performances are unforgettable. But Ranveer is also very good.
While watching this video, and when you mentioned Ranveer's performance in Padmavat, suddenly my mind went on Sahid Kapoor on how well he has done his role in the same film and was overshadowed, also how he uplifted himself as an actor by giving some mindblowing performance in Kaminey,Haider Kabir Singh and recently in Farzi His journey is also worth making a video
@@syedmarwan8069😂😂 indeed. Ranbir was smart. He saved Mass cinema for the last deliberately. He did artistic in the begining. He is going after mass in the most ripe time. He left room for exploration. If he pulls of Ramayana with conviction. His stardom is going to be unparalleled
While both are incredible actors. Performing roles that are psychologically challenged, and to convey those emotions with the audience is something Ranbir is a master at. He made people understand & connect with those deep emotions consistently. While Lootera is by far my favourite work of Ranveer, One cannot simple ignore the consistency in Ranbir's performances. Ranveer has given bad performance twice (Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl, Kill Dil), but even in his worst films, (Bombay Velvet & Besharam) Ranbir stands out.
Completely agree with you. IMO , both Ladies vs Ricky Bahl and Bombay Velvet were quite enjoyable though. Still don't get how Bombay Velvet bombed so bad.
Ranveer Singh all the way !!! He is a true actor and has shown real variety ! he moulds himself into all the roles and just phenomenal to watch whereas Ranbir has been doing the same kind of roles since his debut it’s either him going through self discovery with a manic pixie girl or him having quarrels with his father and then going through self discovery, always same
Ranveer for me. I can acknowledge Ranbir’s great acting but in the back of my mind, it’s always there that this is Ranbir Kapoor. Whereas I get such immersed in Ranveer’s characters that I forget it’s Ranveer Singh. And people often lean towards Ranbir heavily because of his artsy actor persona and dismiss Ranveer because he is flamboyant in real life. You’ll appreciate Ranveer if you truly analyze his filmography. And if you credit Bhansali for his performances, remember that not “anyone” can pull off big budget heavy characters successfully.
The way ranbir plays the character and his ability to emote through eyes makes him class apart! The barfi proposal scene, The scene staring at the sky during kun faya kun, Busines simple hai lok from rocket singh, the bar scene from tamasha, alizeh dard from adhm lets the pain get trough he just connects to a very next level
I get it why people choose Ranbir over Ranveer because Ranbir doesnt involve in any outside events after his film shooting and is generally reserved and quiet. Such people are easy on the eyes and quickly respected and revered by the public. Whereas Ranveer if you keep his personality aside is a far better actor, with more range and versatility than Ranbir can even imagine.
I think Ranbir.. His intensity and the way his eyes speak is enough.. If you want to portray such emotions like anger, sad, happy, just looking at Ranbir face is enough and he doesn't need too much to do.. He's a nepo kid.. But one of the rarest mainstream talents.. He deserves so many better projects..
Ranbir Kapoor is in the league of legendary actors like guru dutt, raj kapoor, dev anand, dilip kumar, etc.. He will always be remembered now, then and forever.. Indian cinema will never complete without him.. take my words.. His acting skills puts never ending impression on your heart which makes him better than his contemporaries and all the current superstars.. He is heart❤
Also how Ranbir says it's vital for him to marry the brain of the direction he's working with, that sheer dedication to loose self and become someone else's completely. That's applauded
I loved Ranbir Kapoor instantly, from the very first movie. It took me a long time to start appreciating Ranveer. I think it was after Gully Boy that I realized that I really enjoyed watching him. I will always like Ranbir, he was a part of my coming of age moment with most his films, but Ranveer I've come to love as an adult. As you rightly said, love the green flag romantic interest vibes.
I will go with Ranveer Singh. His track record from bajirao Mastani, befikre, padmavat, Simba, gully boy, 83 is so iconic and hats off to the versatility.
Never going to choose between these two because both of them together complete the bollywood male lead package for me. Abundance of talent, passion and dedication for craft/ movies that is what RK and RS are defined as m
I feel that Ranbir Kapoor is more versatile compared to Ranveer Singh. RK has played many diverse roles in movies like: Wake Up Sid, Rocket Singh, Barfi, Rockstar, Raajneeti, Sanju. While RS has played either historical characters or loud characters. Movies like: Lootera, Gully Boy, and 83 are exceptions, even Padmaavat can be considered an exception since that is his only negative character, but still RS is less versatile than RK, IMO.
@AmulThakuri HE DID VERY GOOD IN CIRKUS, ROCKY RANI, JAYESH BHAI JORDAR, SIMMBA ACTION-SIMMBA, PADMAVAT, BAJIRAO INTENSE- GULLY BOY, LOOTERA, BAJIRAO, 1983. ROMANCE- BAND BAAKA, ROCKY RAANI, GULLY BOY, RAAM LEELA RANVEER HAS PROVED HUS METAL EVERYWHERE WITH GREAT Versatility ADN GREAT CONVICTION. WHERE AS RANBIR HAS BEEN SAME, ALTHOUGH HE HAS GREAT GREAT CONVICTION. BUT HE APPROACHES EVEYR CHARACHTER THE SAME WAY.
@AmulThakuri if you want to pick and choose, then Ranbir overacted in Tu Jhoothi Mai Makkar. The entire film felt like he was trying to act like Kartik Aryan. Cirkus was a horrible film. Nobody judges SRK's career by films like Happy New Year and Dilwale. Ranveer's comedy was on point in Rocky Rani and his emotional scenes in Gully Boy stand out. His understated, minimalistic portrayal in Lootera is a delight to watch.
@@lipsmackin3826And your comment is evidence enough to say he is a superstar. Ranveer will be gone with a major disaster like shamshera but Ranbir can deliver several flops in a line or not do movies for a half a decade and still retain his stardom.
@@lipsmackin3826 nice joke. With your dumb logic I can say Ranveer is lost without SLB. He was only good in Bansali movies. And it seems Bansali has grown tired of RanDee PR couple and looking for a new muse. Look whose going to be the leads in his next movie. 😘
People mentioned movies for reference to their favourite's act but I would like to talk about just a song .. if someone wants to truely experience an act where someone purely acts through their eyes..just watch "Channa Mereya" the way Ranbir put up a straight up masterclass where he acts not just through his eyes but through his entire personality..the pain the emotional turmoil..the helplessness could be sensed even if you watch the video on mute! That's where acting loud through your body do not work it's the subtlety that works! This exactly this puts Ranbir above others!
Agar tum sath ho,ae dil hein muskil..nadan parade..in these songs he was living that character, that pain.. special his eyes..omg he don't have to talk a single word..his eyes tell us everything...my fav scene is where in barfi ranbir was emotionally expressing his pain when he came to know about ilina's fiance..he was not acting .🥺.I can't describe, man
I've always felt that Ranbir Kapoor is better because his absolutely wonderful performances specially in Rockstar, Tamasha , ADHM and Sanju, now he looks amazing in Animal have really stood out if i talk about Ranveer, he is good and his best performance was in Bajirao Mastani .
I think Ranbir is the better actor. He is effortless, and is a magician who can convey his emotions with just the way he expresses with his eyes. Ranveer is a good actor too; Ranveer is more his appearance and a bit more in your face acting with tons of preparation. I think his USP in the industry is his good attitude, his down to earth and kind nature to anyone big or small.
I will give Ranveer Singh the respect he deserves the day he admits that he's NOT AN OUTSIDER. Other than that pretty good actor but never in the league of Ranbir Kapoor.
Giving constructive criticism is something....but spewing hate on Ranveer for his background and personality, perhaps showcases a insecurity which you have personally and it's not related to him. Because nobody that is happy with their life and choices would go out of their way to spew so much negativity. I wish you loving companionship and spiritual calmness
I wonder then why none of his so-called famous relatives and star-kid cousins even refused to acknowledge him until he became popular and proved himself to be a leading-man material. Even if he supposedly isn't an outsider, he was treated like one for sure up until the point he proved his worth. It's why initially everyone called him an outsider and had no idea he was even related to Anil Kapoor's family because Sonam and Arjun Kapoor and none of their family even seemed to publicly acknowledge Ranveer until he achieved his own fame. He also clearly wasn't given the attention and career push that Ranbir and Alia constantly get from Karan Johar.

The thing here is Ranbir is compared to multiple stars throughout his career. Imran Khan at the beginning, Shahid Kapoor a few years back and now with ranveer singh. While ranveer is being compared to Ranbir. Ranbir despite being a nepo product is totally loved by all people. I still wonder why ranveer singh sometimes says he's not related to the film fraternity while he has many connections although not direct. Thing is People love Ranbir for both the scripts he chose and the way he portrays them. While ranveer has nice fans thanks to PR. I still think RARKPK will be a disaster or not for the dharma name. TJMM is hit just because of RK
Ranveer Singh has done so much across the board, he's put himself out there fearlessly, his body of work is incomparable. Yes Ranbir Kapoor's eyes echo endless tunes of melancholy but it's manic and troubling. But even as a Lootera, Ranveer Singh is so pure and earnest, and that tugs at the heart.
Ranveer for Bajirav and Ranbir for Barfi ..Deserved National awards..but sadly the govt./jury do not consider such actors to national awards..nothing against great actors like Manoj bajpeyi ..but why cant a ranbir or ranveer get a national award ??? with such great performances??
Both are great actors but theirs subtle class in ranbirs acting which feels so natural compared to ranveer, so ranbir is definitely a better out of the 2 miles ahead.
Both are good actors but Ranbir is more natural and real as an actor. His script selection, realness as a performer and effortless charm soo great. So yaa, for me it is Ranbir Kapoor🔥
You rightly put words into an emotion

I feel Kapoor does a formidable job portraying characters that impacts you psychologically. He aces the scenes of emotional turmoil and characters who are nuanced. Barfi, Sanju, jagga jasoos, tamasha and rockstar to name a few. Even In ydjd it was Bunny's internal aspirations and relationship conflicts that draws us to his character or the Naivety of Prem which is not one toned makes his character so memorable
No one can deny Singh is exceptional and knows how to pull a character but I feel what he aces the most is high energy characters.
Very accurate analysis
Thought I don't support nepo kids.....but Ranbir Kapoor is an exceptional actor. He has all the qualities of a Hero and his eyes speak thousand words😊
Ranbir is a more impactful actor but Ranveer is definitely more versatile
I feel Ranveer is better because of the fact that Ranbir Kapoor himself stated this that because of his eyebrow structure on his face, his "no expression normal look" also expresses kind of sadness in his face, meaning he can pull off the roles of a sad, dejected or a serious character very easily, which actually restricts him to play other characters like happy, funny, etc. ( & hence his serious roles with films like rockstar, Tamasha, & to an extent YJHD became iconic films of his career which defined him as an actor)
whereas Ranveer possesses the quality to do serious roles like Khilji & muraad & to do funny roles like simmba as well along with good romantic acting with films like lootera, ramleela, bajirao, etc. (Which was also pointed out as a quality by jammy himself at 4:17)
Hence Ranveer Singh is not fixed with one dimensional characters & themes, he can pull off almost every genre
But then also, when it comes to serious roles (and only serious roles, no any other genre), Ranbir shines than Ranveer on any given day

Wake up sid,Rajneeti,Jagga Jasoos,Rocket Singh,Sanju,Brahmastra shows range of Ranbir Kapoor>>>>>
@@juanmata2131 He proved his acting range already...Talking about besharam it is comedy jolly movie & he chose that movie just because of director of movie coming after dabbang....
@@juanmata2131 And you talking about average acting in Brahmastra are you kidding me 😂😂😂 if you see his close up shots then you will know how he acted effortlessly in that movie just because dialogues are not on that level & Perform along with green screen is not that easy 🤗
Ajpk is my all time favorite movie..the comedy and the songs still in my head..it's one of the underrated movie which must be celebrated..Ranbir aces those roles so fluently❤..
Ranveer’s performance in DDD is so underrated! The scene of confrontation with his parents! Brilliant!
Ranbir ! Anyday the Class in his Acting 🔥
Ranveer is equally talented to Ranbir but Ranbir's connection with the real authentic movie going audience is superior to even srk. So even though srk is my favourite Bollywood actor but he feels like an imagination whereas Ranbir feels authentic and real
Some of ranbir choices have been poor but he's so impactful when he nails it. Rockstar is still one of my favourite movie of all time
Ranbir's Jordan and Ranveers Khilji , both have madness🔥
Being a South indian , Bollywood movies worked only after watching movies like dhoom-2, Ra one ...many south indians knew only SRK,SALMAN,HRITHIK at those times here..But wake up sid is the film that i wouldn't mind watching even million times . still that movie does more exploration in my character spiritually...For me i am always on ranbir side,But Ramleela, Bajirao, Lootera worked so well for me..
P.s: One thing no one can deny is Ranbir with his eyes (just his eyes can show that pain, joy, anger)
I m rooting for both ❤ May the best one wins
I have never felt like I am seeing Ranveer in his characters but with Ranbir, most of the times I feel like I am seeing him onscreen and not the character. In the beginning he did some amazing work and most of my all time fav movies are his but Ranveer is more versatile than him.
🤣🤣 Same can be said with Ranbir as well. Ranveer has failed in Highly emotional, Romantic movies compared to Ranbir who is more versatile than RS. He is well versed with expressing through physical movements but often fails to act in subtle expressive acting.
His movies with good acting was highly co-related with good stories, scripting and story telling..while Ranbir's acting comes on top even in flop movies just like SRK's
@@kkpw12 not all of Ranbir’s flops had good acting. Brahmastra for all its glory, the leads including Ranbir were over the top. Even Shamshera. He was not convincing in that. Ranveer too has had his fair share of flops. 83 might have flopped but he gave a good performance. Jayeshbhai and Cirkus - I agree were not good.
The eyes chico , they never lie , ranbir took this line to another level
The mesmerizing eyes and the sheer emotions bursting out of Ranbir Kapoor cannot be matched whatsoever. No hate on Ranveer he's the master of his own tricks but I would pick Ranbir in a hearbeat. Also I believe Ranbir should've been casted as Don.
Ranbir doesnt do remakes and other's franchisee
Ranbir is one of the all-time best actors of Bollywood. In Barfi, Rockstar, Tamasha, Rajneeti, YJHD and Wake up Sid Ranbir's performances are unforgettable. But Ranveer is also very good.
U missed Rocket Singh
@@tiger3091 yep, he nailed that character too.
While watching this video, and when you mentioned Ranveer's performance in Padmavat, suddenly my mind went on Sahid Kapoor on how well he has done his role in the same film and was overshadowed, also how he uplifted himself as an actor by giving some mindblowing performance in Kaminey,Haider Kabir Singh and recently in Farzi
His journey is also worth making a video
I will choose RANBIR KAPOOR 🔥 he *aced* so many characters with his EYES only 🤍
Ranbir: internal & intense artist
Ranveer: extrovert & larger than life character
from the film Lootera and Gully boy you made this conclusion ? Also Ranbir can act in larger than life charcter like in Sanju
@@lipsmackin3826 animal
Ranbir kapoor 's one - Animal ( larger than life character) = Ranveer singh's whole LIFE😆😆😆😆
@@syedmarwan8069😂😂 indeed.
Agreed, but ladies vs ricky bahl was enjoyable, rewatched it many times and its fun to watch imo
@@Unknown13605exactly! Bombay Velvet wasnt even a bad film
@@Unknown13605 Yes, as a film, Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl was kinda entertaining.
@@Fe-ironman which foreigners channels are this?
Ranbir since from his first movie he just blown from his performance 🎉
Both are good actors but Ranbir is a bit higher because he had played versatile roles and touched many genres but mostly romcoms
Rainbir played versatile character????? What about ranveer then???
@@ibtisamdiya1512 yes but less
C'mon bro u r joking ?
Versatility is Ranveer nickname
@@ujjvalsharma4781 ok i agree finally 👍
Ranbir’s best performances aren’t romcoms. Rockstar, Barfi, Sanju, Rajneeti, Rocket Singh
Ranveer Singh all the way !!! He is a true actor and has shown real variety ! he moulds himself into all the roles and just phenomenal to watch whereas Ranbir has been doing the same kind of roles since his debut it’s either him going through self discovery with a manic pixie girl or him having quarrels with his father and then going through self discovery, always same
Kids shouldn't be allowed to comment on debates like this.😂😂😂
Rooting for him since his debut... And he never disappoints ❤RK all the way
Ranveer is no doubt great actor but I'll always be an RK fan
Is this a debate????😂😂..... Ranbir Kapoor no doubt 🔥🔥🔥
Wt a joke😂
So does Ranveer Singh
Bas, ab jyada ho gaya
@@srinidhibadarayani1849 woh krk ki league main hain
Also how Ranbir says it's vital for him to marry the brain of the direction he's working with, that sheer dedication to loose self and become someone else's completely. That's applauded
Ranbir changed the perspective of acting on rockstar and barfi ❤🔥
Ranbir kapoor....his eyes are enough 🔥
Ranbir in Rocket Singh and Ranveer in Dil Dhadakne do are two of the most underrated performances
As per acting skill by skills Ranbir Kapoor is better in most aspects of acting plus he so effortless.
Incomparable with Ranbir with anyone ! He's elite in acting !!! Hands down! ♥️ 0:53
Bhai have you not watched Lootera or Gully Boy or are you deliberately ignoring Ranveer's roles? Calling Ranveer not as versatile is just plain wrong.
It's a joke right
@AmulThakuri HE DID VERY GOOD IN CIRKUS, ROCKY RANI, JAYESH BHAI JORDAR, SIMMBA
ACTION-SIMMBA, PADMAVAT, BAJIRAO
INTENSE- GULLY BOY, LOOTERA, BAJIRAO, 1983.
ROMANCE- BAND BAAKA, ROCKY RAANI, GULLY BOY, RAAM LEELA
RANVEER HAS PROVED HUS METAL EVERYWHERE WITH GREAT Versatility ADN GREAT CONVICTION.
@AmulThakuriyou are delusional
No hate ranbir is the superstar of his generation
With most number of flops ??

Agar tum sath ho,ae dil hein muskil..nadan parade..in these songs he was living that character, that pain.. special his eyes..omg he don't have to talk a single word..his eyes tell us everything...my fav scene is where in barfi ranbir was emotionally expressing his pain when he came to know about ilina's fiance..he was not acting .🥺.I can't describe, man
Bang on!
Ranbir is better than the Khan's. He truly is a complete actor.
No comparison at all. One is actor other is entertainer. Ranbir speaks with his eyes. Kapoor saab always❤
Ranbir Kapoor is a class act. He is the best of this generation. Periodt.
Hrithik >>>> Ranbir Kapoor anyday
ranbir kapoor is way ahead of ranveer Singh 🔥
I think Ranbir is the better actor. He is effortless, and is a magician who can convey his emotions with just the way he expresses with his eyes. Ranveer is a good actor too; Ranveer is more his appearance and a bit more in your face acting with tons of preparation. I think his USP in the industry is his good attitude, his down to earth and kind nature to anyone big or small.
I get it why people choose Ranbir over Ranveer because Ranbir doesnt involve in any outside events after his film shooting and is generally reserved and quiet.
In the coming decades, it's going to be a Ranbir Kapoor show all the way. He is 🐐 👑💎⭐🔝
Ranveer for Bajirav and Ranbir for Barfi ..Deserved National awards..but sadly the govt./jury do not consider such actors to national awards..nothing against great actors like Manoj bajpeyi ..but why cant a ranbir or ranveer get a national award ??? with such great performances??

Ranveer is a good actor but I would pick Ranbir Kapoor Love from Nepal 🇳🇵
Both are great actors but theirs subtle class in ranbirs acting which feels so natural compared to ranveer, so ranbir is definitely a better out of the 2 miles ahead.
Both are good actors but Ranbir is more natural and real as an actor. His script selection, realness as a performer and effortless charm soo great. So yaa, for me it is Ranbir Kapoor🔥
