Most of the people commenting on his take on marriage is surely not married or never have been in a real relationship!! I loved how true and raw his conversation was😊
If he had said, he has made all the sacrifices in the relationship he would be a narcissist. Him appreciating his wife for making changes in the relationship, misogynist

Your caption is so bang on. Nowadays people on social media is on zero tolerance. They talks about positivity but hates people for being authentic and frank. Ranbir Kapoor gets hate for no reason sometimes just for personal choices. What is wrong with Alia Bhatt's changing her loud tone... as if loud tone is such a great thing. In the mean time if Alia would say the same that 'Ranbir changed his tone' people would appreciate her & still hate Ranbir. "oh he is real life animal blah blah"

You know what? I feel extremely bad for both Ranbir and Alia. It's like they speak a word about their relationship and the internet JUMPS on them. They are amazing at their jobs, so since no one can criticize them on that part, people think they have the right to judge and behave as if they know everything about their personal relationship. It's actually better and more healthy for Ranbir to stay away from the internet, and I hope he keeps this the same. He has that darn talent, and that is going to make him reach heights ❤❤
unlike most actors, he is true to accept his faults always........but being labeled as a cheater, red flag etc...... no one wants honesty...everyone wants fake show and later gets shocked when same fake people get divorced next day
Hands down the best video so far, covering from cancel culture to men's mental health issues to calling out the dual nature of social media and male sensitivity, loved the video!
I didn't like him much but now I have respect for him, how he handled all this. He is describing how marriage is like. People these days are unable to accept the truth.
Ranbir: I have childhood trauma because of my dad & I’m glad that my spouse adjusted her tone so as to not rattle me. The internet: sexist, controlling, red flag 🤬 What you said about today’s internet deserving only inauthentic, politically correct, PR manufactured interviews is perfect. My favourite video on this channel till date 🙌🏼
People hate him only because they like to be so delusional and believe love is all spring, that something real a celebrity does, it is labelled "doesn't love" and "toxic". He spoke so much about Alia and Raha so lovingly but I've not seen one of those trending in twitter or reddit.
He did make mistakes in the past, cheated and I think he has gotten enough hate for it. He has moved on, the person involved has moved on, but the internet won't. They're building his entire character taking base from something he did so many years ago. Ah.. there's something called growth as a person. He has acknowledged his mistake and is apologetic. You can hate him all you want but cancelling him for every word he says seems unfair. Also, about the recent interview- people are so stupid. Marriage changes everybody a little. People make changes or adjustments for the other person like Alia perhaps got a little soft with her tone because she acknowledged his trauma. He also praised her and said that he'd like to change more for her. How is this toxic masculinity and red flag behaviour? I'm a feminist and I'm always standing against misogyny but there's none here in this particular case atleast. I feel like the internet needs no reason to hate on him. They'll literally hold onto any word he says and cancel him.
At least he apologized what about that Deepika cheater force her to apologise also the way she doesn't give a f**k about ranveer singh her husband and treats him like a toy
Ranbir just very politely triggers the feminist who always tried to bring the actor down…Ranbir just trigger them and he just don’t care…the guy is ultra chad
one thing has to be said that no social media part is working so beautifully for ranbir like other than movie promotions you dont see him anywhere or see him giving random interviews or podcasts that one interview has gotten everyone intrigued about the mystery around the man but props to jammy for actually making a sensible account of the conversation and not cherry picking and turning and bending things to suit certain narratives
(AIB way ahead of its time 😢) Our current trend of dissecting the lives of celebrities is based on too many avenues we have for access to their [personal] lives (bane of Internet) plus the cut throat competition amongst the media (making everything and anything a mountain of a mole). Ranbir is neither a Saint nor a Sinner (just “being Human”) 😏
I pity Ranbir a lot man. Man's been called so many names when there are also many other actors who aren't called out for things he is. For instance, Aditya Roy Kapoor can also be seen not committing to others at all in a relationship, yet nobody questions/criticizes him as much as they do it to Ranbir. And I have immense respect for Ranbir for the calm he maintains even after being this dislabeled.
Criticized by few reddit aunties probably. But he wasn’t criticized to the level that his name started becoming synonymous to playboy. And unlike Adithya his relationships are long term. Deepika 2 years, Katrina 6 yrs and Alia 5 yrs before marriage
Ranbir Kapoor needs no PR or social media his interviews do automatic promotion for his films.(Also love how after the success of his movies he stays away from interviews and lets his costars shine he treats his success and failure equally ❤)
I like the fact that he never made the success of Animal about himself too. Gave credit to others where it was due. Nothing is more cringey than after the success of a film, going on an interview tour patting yourself on the back
While I don't believe that an actor of his stature doesn't have a PR, But atleast it's not rubbed on the face of the audience 🙂 unlike some who Overhyped everything from Gym look to airport fashion 🤡 He keeps his class, stature and decorum in the public, no matter who he is in his personal life ( since I didn't had the time to interact with him🗿)
And if it was about Ranveer changing for Deepika then it would be a whole different narrative about how he is the green flag etc etc🌝! Hypocrisy ki bhi hadd hoti hai!
I don't know why people find it so much necessary for the actors to be high on moral values. Most of them aren't. And the people who seek morally judgmental POVs in the actors, they themselves may not be so much high on moral values. Why can't it be just categorized as good actor and bad actor?
Even when i criticise Ranbir for him not being the perfect casting for Shree Ram in his upcoming Nitish Tiwari directorial Ramayana, I don't intent to pull him because of his previous statement he gave about beef. It's purely based on how I see my idol Shree Ram. People change every day, thoughts change everyday.
@@TriedRefusedProductionshe is a very hit and miss actor. Only sanju and animal are his legit hits in the last decade..definitely not a superstar for sure..and its not hate but just pure Facts
I saw the interview and it was real and honest and we all have some kind of similar dynamic with our fathers (you have to be really lucky if you have normal healthy relationship with your father if you are from South Asian). This interview also helps us to understand why he had issues in every relationship. I think we forget to be empathetic towards other human being.
He is no saint but if he wanted he could have run an over enthusiastic PR game too like Deepika & Salman did to favour their image or Janhvi does to come across as relatable and down to earth. No one in bollywood really is that clean but this guy yet gets way more hate. A fabulous actor regardless. A well deserved star kid.
Plz deepika suffered during kwk for being honest and the internet and his fans in particular where the first to shame her !Not to forget his pr trying to clean his image using her
Jahnvi is a middle class girl, who bought her first apartment, before middle classers get their first job. She is role model for hardwork pays ( financed by dad ).
He has an elaborate PR strategy, upto date with everything that's happening. He's just being covert. Karan wouldn't assign I&B ministry for no reason and above all he himself agreed he stalks other celebs using fake accounts.
Lol Deepika. What has she even done for image change? Has she killed people? What exactly Deepika has done, Ranbir hasn't? Shameless men. Hating poor woman for consensual casual relationship while defending a man who has admitted cheating.
What has Deepika done? Killed people? What image does she have? What has anything DP done is different from Ranbir? Deepika is daughter of respected man. What image cleaning did you find in her Ranbir's PR? Or she is slut or whore for consensual casual relationship with her now husband?
If Ranbir would have said he adjusted more than alia then also they'll cry and if a Woman would say her man adjusted for her then comments would be 'you go girll' . These people fight for positivity and empathy but would bounce on people when they share their pov
eeh duuh.. the difference of a man changing vs a woman doing is not on same level. Women are emotional caring by nature and men are visualy driven by nature. It has always been a woman making herself into a doormat for a man, sacrificing her career for him, making him her whole world than vice versa. So if a man adjusts for his spouse that will be more celebrated bcuz that happens almost to a miniscule of time in comparison. I mean men cheats more than girls do... that alone should tell u why ppl look up to guys more when they are loyal or changes their bad habits for a woman vs when a woman does bcuz that is most of the time the norm
And what told you he hasn’t change for her? He took paternity leave, stayed home and took care of that baby for six months just after delivering an ATBB movie. And she was attending parties, galas, business meetings etc while he was staying home. I don’t see anyone praising him for that
Absolutely true. Today people only want to see polished version of Star couples and forget they are only humans. Just because you put them on an idealistic pedestal, that doesn't make them Gods. They are just people and when realism is all we want, we cant digest it and keep voicing learned but rarely practiced values as the point of looking down at someone famous. The trolls who are labelling him to be a red flag, should ask people at own home how they are from their pov. And lastly acting is a profession, just like any other. If the doctor is good at his job, how he is in his personal space doesn't matter and it shouldn't. So we should only critique the actor for his work and nothing else.
Reason I feel Ranbir doesn't have PR is except about his acting, I have probably never seen any positive thing about him on internet lol. He is mostly bashed.
I loved the way Ranbir peeled Nikhil Kamath's self-proclaimed disenchantment. He was so mature in answering questions while putting Nikhil in tight spots.
Damn, just watched the entire interview an hour ago and I think this interview was really nice and touched different aspects and some unconventional topics.
In his personal life he has seen a lot of ups and downs. But that never affected his acting skill or project selection. But yes we need to agree that every a person has a lot flaws within them. Especially a superstar.
Lol, the interview was done because Ranbir is launching his essential clothing and sneakers brand in which Nikhil kamath is investing!😂😂 It was literally mentioned in the interview.
Many judge and hate him because of his personal life , we can just appreciate his acting skills and he is good at very good at job, he is the best actor in this generation.

Dude Katrina went hard on RK with her negative PR. Most of those videos circulated were edited out. If anything one of the biggest reason of JJ failure is Katrina kapoor and her unprofessional attitude. You cant fault Ranbir who tried to keep it professional. He literally had pumped a lot of money in that project. He had also had fights with his father at that time. As for Katrina. She have had issues with almost every male actor cutting them off often like SRK or Amir Khan. Whether you like it or not she screwed RK. RK should have never taken her in that film
You can clearly see Ranbir instigating Katrina like an immature kid in those interviews. I'm not saying Katrina didn't respond with negativity btw. And did you just really put the whole blame of Jagga Jasoos's failure on Katrina? You very well know that the kind of movie Jagga Jasoos was, it likely wouldn't have worked in India. Ranbir took a bet and lost. Also, even after Katrina being with him for 7 years, his and Deepika's relationship is talked about till this day while their's is rarely mentioned. Do you really think Katrina's PR went hard? Or is it just like Ranbir has fans who defend him no matter what, Katrina has her fans too?

I have always been a fan of Ranbir Kapoor’s acting skills but his character analysis and exaggerated targeting done in the last decade really started to change my perception towards him - not only as a human, but even as an actor - but this interview and your video really helped me put things more into place and realise the actuality of how no one is a saint… Everyone makes mistakes and evolving and acceptance is the only way to move forward! Love the video and your entire take on it.
I think there are people on internet who don't know what they are doing and they hate someone because someone else hates someone. I used to hate Ranbir when I was young but as I grew up I understood it was not hate , I was just not his fan. But now if I see his interviews I understand where he comes from. He acknowledges that he is privileged but is open to issues that he faced. Guy matured a lot and become spiritual , tells a lot about his core behaviour. I still am not his fan but for some reason I felt connected to him from the way he spoke.
Ranbir is such a genuine guy loved the podcast , just because he is not on social media to clear everything portray himself as a green flag people are after him .
I think Ranbir and Alia both are very aware what both of them are bringing to their relationship. Despite the hate Ranbir was given due to a statement of Alia "Ranbir hates Lipstick and she has wipe off the lipstick before going out". He is still owning their relationship dynamic is commendable. It's very true that society is being very outrageous in now a days. Social media is not supporting a bad marriage (Aish & Abhishek) but they are also polluting a perfectly fine marriage (Ranbir and Alia)
Thank you for posting this video. I finally feel that I am not being extra nice or blind towards visible "red flags" in a man as per the society. I personally thoroughly enjoyed the podcast. The discussion over confusing human emotions, introspection, evolution was so real. I agree netizens today are scrutinizing and deflecting the available content with their own wild notions and conclusions. I think, even if you don't agree with the actor, let it be. Consume the content and keep your takeaways in terms of what is morally right to you. Why do you need to judge the person? At the end of the day, actors are humans too. They are learning and evolving each day.
I just watched Rabir's interview, and he came across as somebody who’s genuine. We all have flaws, and Rabir’s honesty kinda makes him cool. He’s the complete opposite of me-different background, different emotions, different everything. But you know what? I get him. Why should his authenticity upset anyone just because he isn’t like them? We all have our imperfections-some more, some less-but who are we to judge who’s more flawed? Rabir’s courage to be himself should be celebrated, not torn down by faceless trolls, media outlets and social media posts.
Nailed it. Great that you called this out. The audiences on social media who are quick to judge have completely lost it. I think it comes from a place of deep sadism... to just arrive at one's own conclusion that someone else's marriage is not as great as one might think.. People are just waiting to judge others. It's sad. The only problem i had with the interview was the random Narandra Modi PR question out of nowhere and heaps of praise both of them had for him as if no other PM in the last 70 years has worked for India this hard. Otherwise it was a peaceful, honest conversation.
I completely agree with you, Jammy. I don't know why there's so much unnecessary hate around Ranbir. That podcast is one of the best pieces of content available on UA-cam. I just love Ranbir . He is honest and knows his art well. He works hard for his art and never takes granted that he is a Kapoor a nepokid. He never commented on anything his ex spoke about him ...keeping respect of both the parties. I feel he is a very graceful person and a fantastic actor.
He is too real and honest to give interviews i guess
Your caption is so bang on.
Nowadays people on social media is on zero tolerance. They talks about positivity but hates people for being authentic and frank. Ranbir Kapoor gets hate for no reason sometimes just for personal choices. What is wrong with Alia Bhatt's changing her loud tone... as if loud tone is such a great thing. In the mean time if Alia would say the same that 'Ranbir changed his tone' people would appreciate her & still hate Ranbir. "oh he is real life animal blah blah"
The Indian New Wave, also known as the Parallel Cinema movement, emerged in the late 1960s and 1970s as a response to the mainstream Bollywood cinema. ...
Alia has already said this about tone. That time also it has maid an hudge issue.
Totally, if this changing tone thing was the other way around, people would be appreciating and praising alia bhatt.
Your statement about zero tolerance... Shahrukh said that in 2015 and people exactly proved his point.

Hands down the best video so far, covering from cancel culture to men's mental health issues to calling out the dual nature of social media and male sensitivity, loved the video!
After listening to Ranbir's relationship with his father, it's clear he was playing himself in every movie till now.

Sure. I’ll say “I’m sorry I’ll do better next time,” in Ranbir’s stead.
I didn't like him much but now I have respect for him, how he handled all this. He is describing how marriage is like. People these days are unable to accept the truth.
Ranbir: I have childhood trauma because of my dad & I’m glad that my spouse adjusted her tone so as to not rattle me.
The internet: sexist, controlling, red flag 🤬
What you said about today’s internet deserving only inauthentic, politically correct, PR manufactured interviews is perfect.
True. You said it perfectly

I don’t see anyone praising him for that
Ì don't understand why RK is criticized so much. He is such a good actor in fact one of the best in bollywood

Being yourself an influencer and raising the problems with the media is very commendable.👍
This interview of Ranbir and Nikhil opened my eyes in many ways, it is one of the best interviews ever imo.
It's very simple... no one can win on the internet. There are people on both sides and always the negative side is louder...
