I was mindblown that Nerzhul/Lich King was formerly an Orc leader the story was that he convinced Durotan's Orc clan not to drink the blood of Mannoroth which allowed some fraction of the Orcs (the one that Thrall leads) not to be consumed by the fel & bloodlust and preserve their existence as we see in the game. Along with other things, the Burning Legion caught him out on his disobedience and made him into a Lich King Sort of like a Jamie Lannister. The unknown Hero for a said time

Actually it is. I've looked at it in the editor and the stones are higher quality but the effects are the same. A lot of effects in reforged are worse than the original like Death Coil not having a Lich Skull and Aerial Shackles being very transparent
The cutscene at the end, I can appreciate the effects they *tried* to do, but it's held back *so much* by failing to utilize epic backing soundtracks and cinematography that makes the "hits" of the fight feel intense and meaningful. For comparison just look at, well, *literally any world of warcraft cinematic ever.* Without it, moments that are supposed to build tension just feel *boring.*

Im a wc3 fan and I cant get over how bad thst last cinematic looks. Its sharper thsn the original, but the original is imo better because it feels as if hesrt and soul were put into it. This one looks stiffer than the original and in mokent it feels like a very loe budget anime movie. I , back then, ubderstood engine and artists limitations so some things obviously couldnt be implemented to not be too far off. But this... it seems as if they tried s bigger bite than they can chew and then just gave up on it mid way and just said "lets finish this any way we know how". It feels wierd, off, not tactical and realistic for this universe in particular at all... that last Illidan metamorphosis... Arthas just grabed his wing 1 second before and used that opportunity to slice him, but then he is waiting for his metamorphosis to complete just like that? ThenIllidan, despite all his powers doesnt try to shoot him with anything but just lounged at Arthas from the sky head first into his powerfull soul stealing sword(he id a 10.000 year old night elf who faced the burning legion head on.... he would have thought this through more ...) then arthas just 1 hits him down to the ground. That same Illidan apparently morphed and 1 shot a demigod/god of light and 1 moment sfter blocked a lightsword attact from one of the most powerfull paladins ever know with his weakened naked palm... wtf is this shit?
