Arthas: "We're too late. Those copies have all been installed. They may look fine now, but it's just a matter of time before they request for refunds."
*Few moments later*
Arthas: "They must be banned..."
Arthas: "We must Refund these copies."
Blizzard: no
Arthas: "We must Refund these copies."
Blizzard: There's got to be some other way ....
Arthas: Damn it Blizzard! As your consumer I order you to refund these copies!
Blizzard: You are not my consumer and even if you were I would not obey your request!

Imagine selling what you advertise. I hope they got tons of lawsuits for this scummy act. Idk what in the fucking blue hell happened tho.. cutting corners.. costs . The fuck knows. Managed to shit on their image, a 20 y/o masterpiece
They ll do it if war3 fans level is high as wow fans level.
So the ENTIRETY of the changes of the cutscenes are:
-Slavemaster is now a non-chaos orc (so now him not dealing chaos damage makes sense)
-the Blackrock Blademaster kills all the captives in one blow
-Kel'Thuzad's debut has him summon all of his skeletons at once and the Abomination make a more dramatic entrance
-the Hearthglen sergeant is now a Captain
-Arthas now doesn't kill a random Ghoul during the Heathglen ending (boooo!)
-Medivh and Arthas meeting has actually good, dramatic camera angles and scenery (wow, first cutscene changed to be like how the teasers teased)
-Straholme opening has more dynamic camera zoom-ins that happen at the city gate rather than some random pre-made base (not nearly as good as that teaser, though. Wtf happened to it?)
-Stratholme's ending takes place at a dock rather than within the city
-Muradin's forces now shoot warning flares instead of beat the shit out of that one peasant (the best part is gone!)
-the Captain is named 'Luc Valenforth' when the recall order at Northrend happens, just like in the novels (wait, Valenforth got name dropped but not Falric?!)
-the mercs aren't shown getting killed this time but just flash to black
-Mal'Ganis has a much more dramatic entrance during the Frostmourne opening
-The Guardian now has his very own cutscene...huh...the only entirely new one added in
-Arthas taking up Frostmourne has a lot more improved camera angles and he drops his hammer before Frostmourne's anti-dwarf shockwave whoops Muradin's ass instead of after
-Mal'Ganis now cheekily walks around Arthas after Frostmourne is obtained and even has a dynamic, custom animated death by Arthas shanking him (hot damn, big improvement here)
Overall...not really anywhere close to expectations aside from a very few select moments (Kel's entrance, Medivh and Arthas' meeting, Arthas obtaining Frostmourne, and Mal'Ganis' death). Some great improvements, some surprising downgrades, and Falric for some reason still never gets name dropped despite helping out in 3 missions.

One would think that Antonidas of all people would recognize that the Prophet is wielding Atiesh, given that has been a relic passed from Guardian to Guardian
The lore is a maze of loopholes, just let it go....
I think Antonidas might have just assumed the actual Atiesh he saw to be a fake wielded by some crazed hermit impostor, which would be hilariously ironic.

Tbh I always find amusing that Medivh´s dialogue is always "WE ARE DOOOMEEED" instead of actually explaining and giving reasons to take action, no wonder no one takes him seriously

where did you get this amazing high res custom mod? It looks amazing. The animation is not quite livid though, I won't blame the creator since its fan-made, as opposed to be made by a AAA company like Blizzard.

They didnt remove anything....they simply cancelled their plans to remake ALL the cutscenes the way they initally planned to do (Stratholme demo at Blizzcon 2018)..
They simply underestimated the work required for that in short timeframe (1 year) that they had and thus they had to go for easier/quicker option with the cutscenes and only change/add things to them were it was most necessary/sensible, like Arthas killing Mal'ganis.

Im NOT defending Activision-Blizzard who ultimately are responsible for this for having no quality control whatsoever and treating this as small side project that they wanted clearly to push out as quickly as possible.
Again I dont think the Reforged team is so much to be blamed here rather than Activision-Blizzard cause ultimately THEY decide what projects inside Blizzard Enteraintment get most attention/resources, priority, marketing and so on.They COMPLETELY control what is going on inside Blizzard Entertainment and thats why likely almost all key people have left Blizzard in recent years

I don't think Balnazaardi is defending Blizzard so much as just explaining why Blizzard fucked up. Blizzard has been on quite a huge downward spiral ever since they signed with Activision (why the fuck do studios keep on signing onto that death wish?!), undergoing massive layoffs, rushing out their WoW content half-baked, and now crunching with way too few people to believably make due on their promises. Blizzard was, has been, and still is completely and utterly fucked right now and their stupid Activision partnership guaranteed that they can't delay anything and have to crunch rush out subpar stuff.
Can't say these are anymore engaging the old warcraft 3 ones. If anything the standoffs in the old ones allowed more for imagination if anything.
At least their jaws aren't flapping in the breeze any more.

I like the animation where Arthas stabs Mal’Ganis, but I really wish they did something to Mal’Ganis’ death animation… he just spins out of frame. It’s like the Muppets stage hook dragging him off. It looks silly. The original bat explosion was way better.

They made some of the details removed which is shame and disappointed the original has lots of details but don't have good graphics but in reforged all few of the details are removed and head bobbing aswell but has good graphics but has bad lack of features with lots of bugs and glitches and the words and spelling mistake I like the original more

Lol se ve peor que el original!! (Con respeto a los gráficos originales que son hermosos para la época en que se lanzó este juego). Esto es grave, lo que blizzard está haciendo ya es ilegal, primero publicidad engañosa, luego estafa para todos los que lo compraron, luego no quieren devolver el dinero y más encima matan al juego original obligándote a comprar la versión más mala a un mayor precio. Ni siquiera sé como es que está compañía no se va a la ruina, lo han hecho fatal desde hace años!. Abandonaron Heroes of the storm y ya apenas si sacan contenido, el wow ha vuelto a decaer con BFA y el 8.3 sólo evidencia lo poco que le importa a blizzard su propia historia y videojuego. En general los juegos de blizzard se sienten decadentes, overwatch murió con overwatch 2 que se siente sólo como una excusa para volver a sacarte dinero. Es que ya ni siquiera se esfuerzan.... Es ridículo, yo no sé como Blizzard no se ha disuelto desde dentro si sus políticas son horribles. O todos son corruptos o están amenazados, es que simplemente no lo entiendo y me da rabia, porque están arruinando todo lo que ame de sus juegos y la gente les paga por ello.
