Paroedura picta - A Super Hot Gecko in the Hobby Right Now

- Believe it or not, Paroedura picta is the ONE gecko I am asked the most about in our facility. Not crested geckos, not leopard geckos, not even some of the rare geckos we keep. I get more keepers asking how to care for and are any for sale on our Paroedura picta geckos!
We are breeding several pair of Paroedura picta in hope of finding some unique traits and morphs. As we raise their babies, we need to provide the BEST enclosure conditions we possibly can. @@SupremeGecko I will! It's the same one in my profile pic, but now that he's getting older, that stripe is getting wider and wider. So gorgeous! Oh yea. I don't care how long it takes. I am dead set on creating actual morphs for these guys. I'd love to produce something new which I believe is a goal for many reptile breeders.

@@JayBugsTailsNScales Cool! I bet. I don't think people realize that stripe gets broader and broader. I think many breeders do. Like I've said the last few months. 1 or 2 'something different' animals will keep me going forever.

Wow, those are the first geckos I ever bred way back in the early 90s… let me guess they’re also going for hundreds of dollars now too…🤦🏻♂️🤣
Like anything else where the breeder puts in years and years of work to refine the lines and traits, they command a higher price than the wild caught examples that were mostly around in the early 90s.
