Thanks for your insight because I'm considering buying a VR headset for the first time and I'm struggling to decide whether or not I should get a Quest 2 or a Pico 4. Since I use a gaming laptop I want something that will give me the best price to quality ratio so I'm looking around the options and added accessories so I'm set up lol.
hey bro hope you good great review i haev some questions im looking to get a pico 4 instead of some monitors for work im in business and mostly use web applications as well some excel and some light coding of some pcb boards like arduino etc as hobby so will need some windows connectins for a few use cases as well as taking meetings and using screen share can i achieve this with pico 4 ? and one more thing what about the finger traking can i use a keybaord inside the pico to work?
Hi buddy, this is a very specific application area. To be precise, it's what the Apple VR glasses are trying to do. To be frank, the Pico 4 may not provide you with the optimal experience, particularly when dealing with professional Windows applications. Virtual Desktop allows you to project and scale your desktop as you wish, but I cannot guarantee how well it will perform in a work environment. As for finger tracking, typing on a physical keyboard is not possible in a VR space. Id would need to be a Mixed Reality with VR and AR. And on top, if you're unfamiliar with blind touch typing, it may be challenging to type. I believe this may be something for the future. But you know what I will try this with my setup and make a video as soon as possible.
@@enessenturk4543 hey bro thanks so much man appreciate it and will look forward to your video, couple of things I found out there an app for free called immersed that seems to be good for productivity, also for the physical keyboard aprently there new update that allows you ti create portals for the keyboard but what I wanted to test out is what if would like to just carry the headset around for meetings without a keyboard and mouse is possible to navigate with just my fingers and a virtual keyboard without the controllers ?also is there any web browsers etc in the pico itself that I can just use instead of using windows inside pico?
Although i wont buy it ill still see it. Since i love vr and generaly interrested in the vr market, I am waiting for the quest 3 to hit the stores in europe and unlike many others have not prepurchased the quest 3. Good luck moving forwards.
I've got the logitech chorus headphones on mine, and confirm they work great. I used gorilla mounting tape to put them on and it hold great! (FYI)
