If you want to know how the shortest and fastest routes differ, it's because the nav system knows speed limits, so a shorter route might have less interstates in favor of smaller roads, etc.

Can you use navigation with voice commands?

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by use navigation with voice commands. If you mean does the nav system give you turn by turn instruction through voice commands? The answer is yes. If you mean can you talk to the built in navigation system? The answer is no for the built in nav system but Yes for Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. I get the same updateds every time after I formate mine thumb drive to fat 32 ( not the quick format) I will download the same two updates go an update mine head unit an after it gets done I reformatted it an go an sync the thumb drive back to the head unit an then go back on the computer an see if the map is updated but it gives me the same two updates when I first got mine avic-w8400nex at first I downloaded all the map updates just fine then when I went to check to see if there is any more it just those to same up dates factory package an the map fixes if any one knows what is going on plzz help anyone plzz

At the time this note was written the most recent firmware update was 2018 November. It's possible that no new Map updates have been issued for this product since you last updated the map. Pioneer map updates are available at this website: pioneer.naviextras.com/shop/portal

Depending upon the model number of your Pioneer receiver, it may have a Source Off button, and a Power Off button.
