On my Pioneer 7000Nex, I want to change to voice tempo on navigation. Right now, the voice turn-by-turn is too slow and sounds like she's been drugged! I know there was a setting for this but I can't find it again.
This is not normal operation for the Pioneer AVIC-7000NEX. I recommend to press the receiver's microprocessor reset button. You'll need a paperclip or some other small point to press the microprocessor reset button. You can find the microprocessor reset button on AVIC-7000NEX on the hard key panel to the far right, beside eject.
I'm not aware of a way to change the navigation guidance voice speed on Pioneer AVIC-700NEX. There are several way to change the way navigation voice commands are delivered, including to make the system less verbose. You can learn more about this on page 50 of the product owner's manual. You can change the speed of playback for Audio books.

I have Pioneer Avic-5100nex with navigation, when use the navigation it monitors your speed however, when you go over the posted limit the GPS will override the music to say "your over the speed limit " how do I turn that off or how do I turn the GPS off until I need it?

what does the ding volume do? is it able to ding before you turn?
What is the model number of your Pioneer in-dash receiver? Does this question reference the navigation system built into the receiver? Or are you using navigation from Apple CarPlay or Android Auto?

@@stereomann83 The Pioneer AVIC-6000NEX can provide voice guidance for turn by turn navigation instruction. The level of verbosity you choose will determine how long before a maneuver is required, you begin to hear the instructions. There is a ding before each voice instruction. You can raise or lower the volume level of the ding before each voice instruction. Please be sure to have voice instruction switched on, and early indication of maneuvers switched on. Can you please tell me how to get my navigation to English. Everything is Spanish. Except the voice. I have the AVIC W8400NEX

How do you remove the speed display entirely? I have a working speedometer in my car so this is an unnecessary feature and covers up a big chunk of the map as soon as I'm moving.
What model number of Pioneer in-dash receiver do you have? You can find the model number printed on the face of the in-dash receiver usually on near the bottom of the face or on the top bezel. Pioneer navigation model numbers usually begin with AVIC-.

You can remove the Speed Limit Display on Pioneer AVIC-5201NEX. A setting called "Speed Limit Always Visible" can be set to off. From the Map Screen, Touch the Search function on the bottom right (four lines). Touch the Arrow Right and touch Settings. Under the settings menu choose Warnings. Under Warnings choose Speed Warning and Speed Limit Always Visible set to off. Hi, thank you for your reply, but I already disabled the speed limit warning. I'm looking to get rid of the window that constantly displays what speed I'm driving (when I'm NOT speeding). It just takes up a lot of space and is very distracting; I really hope there is some way to remove it.
Does anyone else feel that it's really stupid to have Navigation system but no options to be hands free when adding a route or updating. Also no Spotify??? Feel like Pioneer dropped the ball. My AVH deck from a couple years ago had more usable features.
This receiver works with Apple CarPlay and / or Android Auto. Both give you hands free voice activation for navigation and they both give you a full on screen interface for Spotify.
