How to re-seal your MR2’s aging T-Top gaskets/seals

Yeah cant believe I was ready to fork out over a grand in new seals. I was like there has to be a cheaper way cause seals dont go bad that easily and Im so glad I found this video. Gonna do this on my mr2 along side using some shinu t top grease and adjusting my window so everything seals properly.

My Firebird is leaking from the driver side back. They told me that it was the t-tops

Both the front corners on my 86 trans am leak like that. I got some 3m weather strip adhesive that im going to try. My weather strips and pins are tight.

I have the same problem, but with a Pontiac Firebird 2001 And it's leaking exactly like yours.

does this actually work? i'm thinking about buying a 1999 firebird where the T-top leakage is the only issue.

@@Yoyofatboy I appreciate the response, I actually found a 1999 with only a little over 100,000 miles on it. Should last at least a couple more years. Here's to praying it can be my next car 🤞🙏
