Easily one of the better examples of install. Lots of detail, and effort, tools, etc. to point things out, especially the center "T" top metal removal and corrosion address. Thanks from the future.

Excellent job making your video. Was able to easily do my T-top gaskets on my 1986 Trans Am without any leaks. Thanks so much for the time you spent on the video to help make DIY projects possible.

Nice man. Best video on the subject I've seen to date. I need to replace the pieces actually on my t-tops.

Would you still recommend a full set of OER weather strips? I have a 1985 Trans am in need of some.

They are good, but not great. If you can get Soft Seal, you'd paid more, but you'd be better off on the long run.

@@guyfaux5010 a few friends used Soft Seal and they seem to have lasted longer. A few years into these and they are degrading.

@@guyfaux5010 they dried in spots where they saw a lot of sunlight which caused them to crack and leak there.

Nice job. I need to do this as well. Were all the parts you installed in one kit or did you order more than one?

    • @salhanna9375

The kit contained all the rubber items and I had to buy the glue separately.

Ok great. The company was OER right? Do you have the part number? The one I found isn’t the one on the box in your video.

@@kkr7540 call Classic Industries in Huntington Beach, CA. They are the exclusive supplier as it's one of their brands. Yes, it's OER.
