Gamora is gonna be "Thanos" in her own episode, that's why she wasn't in this one. If you look at the art on Disney+ she's there with Captain Carter, T'challa and the Marvel zombies. Also Thanos trying to sell everyone on his plan is priceless 😅

Yeah but these are stand alone episodes meaning they are not connected they are each there own episodes most likely she just never meet thanos and stayed on her planet

1.) Hitler hijacked an extremely well known Sanskrit symbol of Good Luck and Prosperity in the form of the “right-facing” Swastika, which unfortunately due to the Nazi’s, twisted and demonizing it.
2.) Hitler was an extreme Right-Wing Nationalist (which is not taught in schools) and HATED Communist. Hell, he used them as a scapegoat to become Chancellor and quickly consolidated power. In effect becoming just as Evil, shit, easily arguably even more Evil than his Russian-Communist counterparts.
3.) The Hammer and Stickle Flag is associated with the USSR who, if you are at all aware of, defeated Hitler and helped the Allied Powers to destroy his Evil regime.
Get educated on history before you make an audacious comment. Heard of Bald and Bankrupt? The popular UA-camr who is also fascinated with not only WWII but on how the Soviet Regime was able to, not only help decide the fate of history by helping the Allied Powers take down Hitler, but also become the United States of America’s only rival “‘World Super Power Counter-Part” until the rise of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) and the inevitable downfall of the USSR.
Amazing how an agrarian based system was able to incite the Cold War for as long as it did.
By the way, the Leader and/or Founding member of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) Mao Zedong killed more of his own people than Hitler _and_ Stalin combined.

This was an amazing episode. It was a fun enjoyable experience. Even though it was fast paced, the flow was fluid with no feelings of being rushed. Thanos and Korath comedic relief kept me smiling throughout .

Didn’t really make sense to be honest. There’s only one necrosword, and she always makes a ton of different types of blades appear, not just one necrosword like Gorr has. She can conjure a bunch if different types of weapons, she does not have THE Necrosword.

And to be fair it's makes no sense. T'challa became a BETTER MAN AND KING after the events of Black Panther, after he was chalenged by Killmonger and almost lost everything, after he learned the mistakes of his father, etc. To me this episode was completely absurd.
@@iamlenda Yes but in this universe instead of spending his entire life only to benefit Wakanda he traveled the galaxy with the Ravagers from childhood. The people he helped and the experiences he had in space made him that way. He didn't need to challenge Killmonger or be changed by his father's death to become who he was. The episode paid very strong attention to subtle details and did so very well.
This episode was great! Loved that TChalla was just born to lead regardless of where his life took him. Didn't love Korath though, and Thanos was okay, just took some getting used to. I feel like Thanos was more there to beef up TChalla's perceived diplomatic capabilities than anything else.
I agree, Korath was kind of cringey. Overall it was a pretty good episode imo though.

One of the arguments I seen online is people saying T'Challa never exhibited any superior diplomatic negotiation attributes before though. Like he certainly wasnt able to convince his cousin Killmonger to renounce his ways, And one has to wonder if he would have been able to convince Thanos in Infinity War to stop fighting. Not to mention if he could convince Thanos why couldnt he get through to the Collector?

I did but I think Gorr’s weapon is more powerful because his is called the all balck necrosowrd but that’s just my theory
Hela's weapons are called Necrosword even in the main MCU, they essentially took the idea from Gorr.
Doesn’t really make sense. There’s only one necrosword, and she always conjures different shaped blades and such. Not just one proper necrosword. It doesn’t really make sense to say that she has it, she has a helmet that lets her conjure different weapons.

I hope they do a comic series that finishes or continues this series. That way, they don’t have to use most of their episodes for future seasons on continuing stories so we can see more scenarios but then the comics could continue fan favorite episodes or all of them

Loved this episode even more than the first. My only real issue was that Thanos really shouldn’t have been at all challenged by Proxima Midnight and Cull Obsidian. Neither should be a real threat to base level Thanos in the slightest. Also, it would’ve been cool to see Cosmo use his telepathy and telekinesis.
Tbf, it looked like they would have been easy for him to defeat until proxima went for his legs
@@Captnamrca07 Proxima completely knocked him unconscious earlier with all the other Ravagers using that shock attack, which shouldn’t have done more than tickle Thanos. And Thanos should’ve easily dispatched with both Proxima and Cull when they double teamed him later. Nothing they have should even phase Thanos
I totally agree with you. I love DE fanos in this episode! I would love to see more of the T'Challa guardian's. I would not be surprised if the popularity of this episode causes Marvel to include a story like this in the comics.

This was a great What If?... episode, and I'm intrigued by the subtle Heist Nebula + 'Cha-Cha' moments.
One of the criticisms of this episode I see online is that they made T'Challa a Gary Stu as he had no personality flaws or quirks as Peter did. They say everything T'Challa did was flawless and he had no faults and was able to talk his way almost out of anything (even convincing Thanos). Also he was abducted as a child without the Vibranium necklace but suddenly later on as an adult he had it. So where did he get it.
I loved the episode, but Thanos seemed weak. Thanos seemed so formidable in live action, the fact that proxima midnight just shocked him and knocked him out made me scratch my head a bit.
That’s my biggest complaint with the episode, thanos just seemed incredibly weak. I don’t care that he switched over to the good side, I think it’s a fun twist, but he’s still thanos, why make him seem so weak?
@@CaaaramelApples They always do that in the comics. When Thanos was on the good side he was helpless against the Godess, the Magus, Malice, Annihilus. Same thing with Apocalypse when he got killed by an evil Xavier. Evil baddies turn weak on the good side.
Loved this episode! What If has started to become my favorite Series. Mainly because it’s not confined to the MCU to the point where it’s just setting up future movies. WandaVision and Loki are setting up Doctor Strange 2, Falcon and Winter Soldier didn’t really need to happen. But this series can just be whatever it wants from week to week

@@mike_t_007 Even worse was Proxima taking out the entire gang and Thanos and throwing them in jail. If she can take out Thanos in a split second why didn't she do that to all the heroes in Infinity war or End game? Lazy writing. Have some consistency.
Gentle Thanos is the most precious thing, and Yondu is soo good too.
Overall I think it was a great episode but I'm not gonna lie, I definitely rolled my eyes when Korath was fan girling over T'Chala. A little too cringey for me lol.

I loved this episode and Tchala being the Star Lord that Peter wishes that he was is so funny! Classic Star Lord!
Thank you for hitting on the point of episode one essentially changing nothing but swapping Peggy for Steve. That's not to take away from the episode but it didn't really feel the full "What If..." experience. This episode was so much more enjoyable because of how much it changed.

This is exactly what I wanted from the What If series. The first episode was too align with the first Captain American movie. This episode gave us a new story with a twist on the characters we know from the MCU. Can’t wait for more episodes like this

Being that we’ve seen Gamora in Thanos’ war amor in promo material and Ep 2 establishes the fact that Thanos did still go on his campaign to snap the universe but gave it up after he met T’Challa says to me that Thanos did still take over Gamoras planet and adopt her but she didn’t give up Thanos’ campaign like Thanos and Nebula did which is why she’s wearing the war armor. We’ve also seen her in that same armor fighting side by side with Captain Carter, T’Challa and Co. in said promo material so most likely changing sides last minute so help save the universe from most likely Ego and Quill given The Watchers statement at the end of Episode 2.
I disagree. When tchalla was fighting the collector you see captain America’s shield in the weapon chest. So to me that means this is yet another separate universe, since episode 1 was about captain carter being the one to get the shield.
That gamora is most likely from a different universe as well as the rest of the team (Thor, dr.strange etc) and they’re all brought together by a multi versal event
@@Jaleel_HS gamora couldn’t still taken up Thanos’ quest in a separate universe since there’s infinite amounts of universes. Thanos could be dead in that universe.

I don't know if any has mentioned to Rob, but I'm pretty sure in the Thanos Wins story, Silver Surfer isn't called the "unworthy" he's called the Fallen one. He was defeated then waited and trained for thousands of years til he was the only one left to wield Mjollnir.
Ah Rob, FYI, Gamora will don Thanos's armor. They showed that and the whole series ties together. Beautiful episode. Good point mentioning that they are basically the GoG

Think the collectors voice was off, and no way any version of thanos would struggle to fight the black order. Though thought the narrative was creative and can’t wait for more “what if”

Awesome idea for a what if episode, Tony stark was Kang the conqueror, here me out, they actually show his backstory and how the starks adopted him. I thought from before MCU Tony is Kang. Rob I ask you sir, has marvel ever given an origin story as to who Tony stark was before being adopted

I loved this episode, this reminded me a lot of the What if comics that I have read.

I can't lie. This episode had me in my feels. I mean to hear Chadwick voice T'Challa...my my my. And the angles that episode pursued. I wondered where Gamora was and then thiught she is still with her people. At the end I couldn't help but think What If Chadwick was still alive what would Wakanda Forever look like and would that lead to some Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda goodness. That ending with Ego n Pete has me wondering...What If? too. As always, Rob, great synopsis.
Gamora is already scheduled to make her appearance in a future episode of what if..in the preview of this upcoming episode shes wearing thanos armor so i believe shes gona be bad!!..cant wait fir that!..but dont worry gamora is comming!!

Man, I wasn't even thinking about where was Gamora. My mind, blown.
I would love a 6 episode, What If spin-off series called "T-Challa and The Ravagers"where they fight Ego, then Gamora as the new Thanos, Shuri becomes Black Panther and saves the day with full Wakandan army, and they also introduce Storm and Atlantis.

I honestly don’t know how any of the other episodes are gonna top this, was just class 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾. And can we talk about Djimon Hounsou’s performance as Korath the pursuer 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾 😂. Honestly 10/10 from the top to the bottom of this episode. And ofc R.I.P Chadwick Boseman 🕊 gone but ‘never’ forgotten

I truly believe they should recast Black Panther. There is so much to explore with T'challa in the MCU. A warrior king that's a hero across the universe with a blood feud with Marvel's first mutant! I think ending his story now is a true disservice to the fandom and to the late great Chadwick Boseman and his effort.

Howard the Duck was awesome in Marvel Zombies which is worth noting since we saw zombie Captain the trailer. I hope we see Howard again.

So What If old Cap was Steve from Captain Carter's episode? So there is a Captain Britain Corps and that's how he got there. Lots of fun ways it could be spun from there. Also Cap in the quantum realm with Mjonir, the stones and a time gps with a pym particle on it has to be Strange's ace up his sleeve for the repercussions of Endgame.
Well Rob was right, the underlying story seems to be starting with Peters Father coming to meet him on earth in this episode.
