This episode made me reflect on why I'm such a fan of Marvel comics and the MCU. It was so bad ass and full of awesome moments. Really really hope to see future seasons of this show.

I think the most important thing to remember, is that strange supreme has the ability to change an absolute point in time. If I remember correctly an absolute point doesn’t just affect your universe but every universe. This is why the watcher needs him, it may be possible for strange to change the moment Tony Stark decided to create Ultron.

Rob, they literally had promos with the guardians of the multiverse. Peggy Carter, Killmonger panther, tchalla starlord, gamora(don't know from where), party thor. all standing together. Watcher is going to each of the universes and grabbing someone to help defeat Vultron. Wont be surprised if its aou black widow and zombies spiderman as well, captain marvel from the one everyone dies. Gonna need a lot of heroes to defeat Vultron with the infinity stones.
I just love that we are seeing levels of complexity and scifi/fantasy concepts in the MCU that we were always told were unmarketable to a broader audience come to life and be popular. Its awesome
In regards to the infinity stones, when The Watcher says "This should not be possible." Ultron counters with "Oh, but anything is possible in a multiverse." I think The Watcher is referring to the infinity stones working outside of Ultron's native universe, and because everything is possible in the multiverse (if only once), this specific set of stones do work.

This was the best episode imo for sure. I like the moment where Ultron thinks his purpose is complete and gets kind of sad and then realizes that there is a multiverse and purpose reengaged lolol.

We've seen scenes with Party Thor talking to Darktor Strange and the scene where they recreate the Avengers circling shot with the new members (T'challa Star Lord, Dark Strange, Gamora, Captain Carter, Black Widow) I'd be shocked if they somehow didn't end up getting together in the last episode...
From what the trailers showed strange and the watcher are going to gather up everyone from the previous episodes and form a multiversal avengers lineup. If you go back and watch the trailers, they show a bunch of clips of the characters interacting with each other that we haven’t seen yet.

This is the perfect chance to give strange Supreme a redemption arc; as shown in trailers pass he teams up with Thor so what the Watcher is offering him is a second chance to be a hero again which will lead to the creation of The multiversal Avengers and I can't wait to see it!😍😉👍
I suggest Evil Dr. Strange as "Dark Strange" or "Demon Strange". I have always had a major issue with the MCU treatment of it's "Multiverse", normally for a Multiverse, it needs to be made up of multiple SEPARATE universes, but the MCU has multiple Timelines branching off of a SINGLE universe, so they technically should be sharing the same core infinity stones. This proves that what we are seeing isn't a multiverse, just branch timelines, which is why the stones work. This is also why ENDGAME worked, they were using stones from the Past of the same universe.

Since getting the Space Stone, Thanos has just casually walked through his portals dramatically without knowing it’s safe on the other side. He’s cocky and his opponents all like to talk before fighting. And then there’s Ultron
^ like princess said and people theorized between Wars and Endgame. Its Wars Thanos, He went there to get the stones. Not kill unless needed too like he did all movie long. And if a special space axe can 1 chop his head off (and hurt him while he has the stones) I'm guaranteed an unexpected stone powered beam of death can insta kill him sense it fires faster then he can blink
Infinite possibilities. We saw into the universe where he makes this error, but there are more than billions of timelines where he doesn't get sliced in half by Ultron. And there are billions upon those where he does.
The mind stone increased Ultrons reaction speed to the point that Thanos couldn't react in time plus Ultron don't have time for those villain speeches lol
We know from Infinity Wars he can be hurt even with all the stones (damn you Thor!). Thanos is arrogant enough to let a threat attack him and I don't think he was expecting it. After all, he likes to monologue before his fights.

I was thinking maybe UltronVision absorbed the energy of the stones to become as powerful as he was like Strange Supreme instead of using their abilities separately or in tandem outside of his universe but I'm totally fine with the stones working in any universe that has their power flowing through it.
Most logical for me is UltronVision is a machine , and having the infinity stones "powering" him up for so long gains him a cosmic power. Thats why he gains cosmic awareness in the middle of episode and notice The Watcher's presence.
The thing about the stones is they are what I like to call a Physical power, where as Magic power is something completely different. Like how the Living Tribunal is able to strip the stones from people, he is the arbiter of mystical power in the multiverse, because physical power is locked to the reality its founded in, magical power flows throughout the multiverse. So when a being amasses too much mystical power, its a multiversal issue, not just a universal one.
My theory? They're going to wrap a bow on this with one final appearance of Shuma-Gorath. After another universe-shattering battle, the heroes will seem to be defeated, and all will seem hopeless, when suddenly an enormous mass of tentacles will sprout from the sky with a huge eye in the middle, it will open its maw, and gulp! Ultron is devoured. Shuma just ignores the heroes, keeps moving, and disappears through another portal. Perfect setup for Multiverse of Madness.
I think it definitely ties into DS2. There was that interview a while back where Cumberbatch had his phone/laptop pointed at the wall or ceiling because he wasn't allowed to show his look while he was filming. I think it makes most sense that he was filming as Strange Supreme that day as opposed to just wearing a new costume

Why didn't Vision cut Thanos in half in Infinity War movie? Or Thanos's henchmen. In an interview one of the directors of the What If series said that Marvel relaxed the checks and balances normally seen in the movies and live action tv series and gave them more freedom to do and write whatever they wanted. Thus we have watcher almost standing up to infinity gauntlet Vision. And we have Peggy Carter lift 5ton trucks and be at least 5x stronger than Steve Captain America (who can lift ~800lbs). And we have Hawkeye 10x more deadly than he was in the movies. Don't try to think of a rational logical "watsonian" explanation, its just different writers and directors with differing levels of effort to maintain consistency to what is already established.

Although I liked the episode, ALOT! I think the idea behind how they want to end this season is not the most well thought of. like how Ultron killed Thanos. Also how the stones were used by Ultron and how they worked outside the multiverse anyways. It seems that a lot of decisions taken for the conclusion of the season were lazy or rushed. That said. Still pretty awesome to see. But the nerd in me still notices those things I mention above. Oh! and by the way. The Multiverse team up is going happen. We've seen some of those scenes on the trailers. Gomora, Strange Supreme, Party Thor, Widow, Killmonger Panther, T'challa Star Lord. These will all team up on the last episode. Gomora's motives will be to avenge her Father.
The fact that his stones worked out of his universe kind of took me out of the episode but if I had to guess this is all going to end with every character that we saw survive their episode come together to make a multi-verse Version of the avengers.
I think like a tree with all of his branches and fruits steming from one source the infinity Stones work on a multiversal level now because it's a branch from the sacred timeline.

Am I crazy for imagining a scene where there is a massive army of ultrons, and the watcher or strange supreme transports the zombies to fight ultrons army. I know this is crazy and I have no idea how it would work especially with them wanting flesh. But the idea of it seems awesome

No it wouldn't. They only did that as a cop out. Whenever they can't figure out how to end the story they use The Living Tribunal for that. It would be cool to see different heroes join together to stop Ultron, like in Ultron Forever
The thing that confuses me about the stones working outside of their own universe... is that wasn't it already established in Loki that they don't? Because I assume the TVA is in some kind of Null Space outside of the multiverse.

It's definitely quite a change from the comics having the stones work outside their respective Universe, though. It's actually kind of interesting and exciting to see them deter that much from whats standard. Could be cool.
One question. How can Watcher witness “ultrovision” invasion of Party Thor reality and be surprised. And the next episode Watcher is observing as “ultrovision” became Multiversal Avengers Level Threat. Only think that came into my mind is that ending of Party Thor episode [or the whole episode] was narrated by different Watcher [Bendatu for example]
I thought about this and all the episodes take place at different times in the mcu so I think the watcher can not only see different universes but also different time points in those universes. So I think he saw ultron arrive in party Thors universe then went to the universe where ultron was created to see what happened.

Love the episode! But my only problem was Thanos is a tactical genius. There's no way he arrives so unprepared and gets killed that easily!
Since getting the Space Stone, Thanos has just casually walked through his portals dramatically without knowing it’s safe on the other side. He’s cocky and his opponents all like to talk before fighting. And then there’s Ultron

Infinite possibilities. We saw into the universe where he makes this error, but there are more than billions of timelines where he doesn't get sliced in half by Ultron. And there are billions upon those where he does.

The mind stone increased Ultrons reaction speed to the point that Thanos couldn't react in time plus Ultron don't have time for those villain speeches lol
We know from Infinity Wars he can be hurt even with all the stones (damn you Thor!). Thanos is arrogant enough to let a threat attack him and I don't think he was expecting it. After all, he likes to monologue before his fights.

I was thinking maybe UltronVision absorbed the energy of the stones to become as powerful as he was like Strange Supreme instead of using their abilities separately or in tandem outside of his universe but I'm totally fine with the stones working in any universe that has their power flowing through it.

Most logical for me is UltronVision is a machine , and having the infinity stones "powering" him up for so long gains him a cosmic power. Thats why he gains cosmic awareness in the middle of episode and notice The Watcher's presence.
The thing about the stones is they are what I like to call a Physical power, where as Magic power is something completely different. Like how the Living Tribunal is able to strip the stones from people, he is the arbiter of mystical power in the multiverse, because physical power is locked to the reality its founded in, magical power flows throughout the multiverse. So when a being amasses too much mystical power, its a multiversal issue, not just a universal one.
I prefer the name Infinite Ultron.

Ultron killing Thanos like that would've been super underwhelming if that was the ending to infinity war
My theory? They're going to wrap a bow on this with one final appearance of Shuma-Gorath. After another universe-shattering battle, the heroes will seem to be defeated, and all will seem hopeless, when suddenly an enormous mass of tentacles will sprout from the sky with a huge eye in the middle, it will open its maw, and gulp! Ultron is devoured. Shuma just ignores the heroes, keeps moving, and disappears through another portal. Perfect setup for Multiverse of Madness.

I think it definitely ties into DS2. There was that interview a while back where Cumberbatch had his phone/laptop pointed at the wall or ceiling because he wasn't allowed to show his look while he was filming. I think it makes most sense that he was filming as Strange Supreme that day as opposed to just wearing a new costume

At least not in the comics. In the mcu maybe they tone down everyone. Also still making iron man as the one that made ultron instead of phym is lame.
Why didn't Vision cut Thanos in half in Infinity War movie? Or Thanos's henchmen. In an interview one of the directors of the What If series said that Marvel relaxed the checks and balances normally seen in the movies and live action tv series and gave them more freedom to do and write whatever they wanted. Thus we have watcher almost standing up to infinity gauntlet Vision. And we have Peggy Carter lift 5ton trucks and be at least 5x stronger than Steve Captain America (who can lift ~800lbs). And we have Hawkeye 10x more deadly than he was in the movies.
Don't try to think of a rational logical "watsonian" explanation, its just different writers and directors with differing levels of effort to maintain consistency to what is already established.

Although I liked the episode, ALOT! I think the idea behind how they want to end this season is not the most well thought of. like how Ultron killed Thanos. Also how the stones were used by Ultron and how they worked outside the multiverse anyways. It seems that a lot of decisions taken for the conclusion of the season were lazy or rushed.
That said. Still pretty awesome to see. But the nerd in me still notices those things I mention above.
Oh! and by the way. The Multiverse team up is going happen. We've seen some of those scenes on the trailers. Gomora, Strange Supreme, Party Thor, Widow, Killmonger Panther, T'challa Star Lord. These will all team up on the last episode. Gomora's motives will be to avenge her Father.

The fact that his stones worked out of his universe kind of took me out of the episode but if I had to guess this is all going to end with every character that we saw survive their episode come together to make a multi-verse Version of the avengers.

I think like a tree with all of his branches and fruits steming from one source the infinity Stones work on a multiversal level now because it's a branch from the sacred timeline.

We've known there would be multiversal Avengers since they first showed a scene of them, so that theory is nothing new, but I do love the idea that the Doctor Strange in Far From Home is the one from What If?

I loved this episode but didn't the continuity logic from Loki explained imply that Infinity Stones don't function outside of their designated universe, so why did they work for Ultron?

Am I crazy for imagining a scene where there is a massive army of ultrons, and the watcher or strange supreme transports the zombies to fight ultrons army. I know this is crazy and I have no idea how it would work especially with them wanting flesh. But the idea of it seems awesome

No it wouldn't. They only did that as a cop out. Whenever they can't figure out how to end the story they use The Living Tribunal for that. It would be cool to see different heroes join together to stop Ultron, like in Ultron Forever

The thing that confuses me about the stones working outside of their own universe... is that wasn't it already established in Loki that they don't? Because I assume the TVA is in some kind of Null Space outside of the multiverse.
Newrockstars stated it only doesn't work in the tva. Idk where they got that from, but they normal have their facts right
@@r3dbl True, it could be the case that given Immortus' advancement in technology from his time that he achieved that for the TVA. It's definitely quite a change from the comics having the stones work outside their respective Universe, though. It's actually kind of interesting and exciting to see them deter that much from whats standard. Could be cool.
One question.
How can Watcher witness “ultrovision” invasion of Party Thor reality and be surprised. And the next episode Watcher is observing as “ultrovision” became Multiversal Avengers Level Threat.
Only think that came into my mind is that ending of Party Thor episode [or the whole episode] was narrated by different Watcher [Bendatu for example]
I thought about this and all the episodes take place at different times in the mcu so I think the watcher can not only see different universes but also different time points in those universes. So I think he saw ultron arrive in party Thors universe then went to the universe where ultron was created to see what happened.
