I felt Cap was selfish for it and then I thought "Well, maybe Cap wanted to live his life and pass on the shield to Bucky to the new era"... So... Best friends, right? I don't get it. I’m digging how they’re taking the opportunity to make some of the B-list heroes more relevant. Hank Pym killed all of the Avengers and also turned all of the main ones into zombies even though he’s not really considered that big of a deal in the MCU. I’d like to see more of Rhodey, Sam Wilson and the Guardians of the Galaxy though.
I loved the Dr Strange one.. this one was kinda boring . I liked it but idk I did expect a horror kinda episode. Too much humor for me especially when some of us have read or heard Rob read it too us .

I think the real meaning of being worthy is having the perfect warrior's mentality. If you are a barbaric monster and some megalomaniac or a any kind of heartless emotionless monster in general Mjolnir wouldn't consider you worthy. It's a sentient weapon. Mjolnir wouldn't want any beta male cuck or wimpy bitch ass wielding it either. I believe the hammer wants someone or something who can be a powerful competent warrior when things go rough as well as a person who is sane and rational and has his act together. That's what it means to be worthy I believe.

For me it was the best episode for Peter Parker alone. His pop culture references and survival guide made me love the episode even more. The cliff hanger was a huge bummer but that's just a testament to how good the episode was. "Always leave them wanting more "

After watching this episode I went back and watched the what if trailer from 2 months ago and it actually gives away quite alot. The trailer shows dark dr strange talking to captain carter aswell as captain carter, killmonger black panther, gamora thanos, tchalla starlord, and party thor all teaming up. The trailer even showed/spoiled futurama style head-in-a-jar scot from this episode
I’m totally expecting an Exiles series to come out of this series. Don’t know if it’s gonna be animated or live-action [probably animated], but it could very much work.
My episode ranking is 4,3,5,1,2. The Doctor Strange and Hank Pym episodes were awesome, I am not a big fan of zombie related fantasies but this episode was really cool. I am really enjoying the show and everything Marvel is putting out at the moment. :)

Seeing how great every episode since episode 1 was, I really wished they'd taken more time and structured the Cap Carter episode a little bit better pacing and story wise
The theory as to why Trhor isn’t there is simple. He can still use his Stormbreaker because it is not enchanted. Also the zombies in the episode were shown to still have cognitive function to use their paraphernalia and powers adequately. Thor would use his axe as usual even as a zombie. Thor wasn’t in the episode because by the time he appears on Earth, Thanos would already be there, but we didn’t see too far after the avengers got to Wakanda.
Kinda… if Bruce Banner/Hulk fled the siege on the Asgardian ship, Thanos sent his children (the black order/ whatever they are called) to get two of the remaining stones. The question is; since Ebony Maw failed to get the Time Stone from Strange (they get eaten, remember) HOW did Thanos get the Time Stone?!
In terms of Zombie movies, Episode 5 did an amazing job. But my ranking of all the episodes 1: Doctor Strange Supreme 2: Zombies!? 3: T'challa became starlord 2: death of the avengers 1: captain carter Doctor Strange Supreme was the best Episode in my opinion because of storytelling and plot.
After how crazy these last two episodes went I’m very curious on how Tony v Killmonger is gonna play out. They gonna fuck around and have Stark pull up in a White Wolf inspired suit and make Okoye be a Skrull.

The moment it started at the infinity war point I had that itch in the back of my mind like "Where TF is Thanos?". Thor was in the process of obtaining Stormbreaker since this was during infinity war, He will most likely arrive at the start of the next part of this story. Hopefully we get to see Thanos POV before that, fighting zombie Strange for the time stone.
Probably got scratched by something and virus got in. My question is how it got off the planet. Just from what we've seen of the universe that planet would have been quarantined or just disintegrated immediately.
I have a wild head canon theory: Janet caught the virus after running into Kang in the quantum realm within Chronopolis, the virus being something Kang was researching , originating somewhere in the multiverse
I feel like this episode was a great homage to the actual marvel zombies comics! The fact that amongst this chaos, there were still humorous and humanizing moments is practically marvel zombies’ signature! Not to mention the small nods to the comics: -viz slowly feeding t’challa to save wanda is like when Hank slowly ate t’challa as he looked for a cure -the fact that the main avengers team was basically zombified right away -and when thanos showed up with the infinity gauntlet at wakanda it reminded me of when wakanda was the safe-haven in the comics
Thee way too many stupid unnecessary “heroic” sacrifices this episode. Also some continuity and just dumb moments with the characters that could have prevented some conflict. But overall it was a cool episode.
I think What If is doing a good job making the transition between Infinity Saga films smother by taking inspiration from multiple films In each episode further solidifying the established canon while also telling an alternative narrative.
The Black panther , star lord episode was my favorite and it was extremely funny and to see the collectors real strength was dope as well as seeing thanos team up with the good guys

The ONE singular scene of watching Bucky versus Cap with Bucky telling Cap its the "end of the line" after he cuts ✂️ him in half with his own shield 🛡 shuts down his infinity war argument. Mind you, I didn't even mention Vision actually trapping other living people, specifically other AVENGERS, so he can FEED them to Wanda. One of these Avengers being T'Challa who we watched a couple of episodes ago convince Thanos to abandon he's universal genocidal quest to join his team as an underling. This same T'Challa couldn't convince Vision, a being who is based on logic, that what he was doing is wrong. Vision's response when confronted by other heroes is to SACRIFICE himself by ripping the mind stone OUT OF HIS OWN HEAD. Dude, grown men and women would have nightmares, not to mention children. 🙄 I respect everyone's opinion but tge comparison isn't even close.
I hope we get a part 2 next week. The Marvel Zombies is the only reason I was interested in this series. Edit: Yeah I think this one is the BEST episode so far lol
I have to vote for zombies as the top episode -- it's the only one so far that has left me wanting more. Dr Strange episode was really good, but wrapped itself up, so I don't see any more story there, but if there was, I definitely want to see it. Keep up the good work!
One thing that disappointed me was the fact the zombified heroes didn't really talk or anything, one thing that gave me chills reading the comics was seeing decayed, dead heroes yelling out "THE HUNGERRRRR" and literally tearing someone's limbs apart.
Just realized that Dr. Strange universe didn’t end because he absorbed abundant of monster or that he abuse the time stone. It ended when he tried to change fate.
I agree, episode 4 is still the best so far. I cried a little at the end. A cartoon made me cry...I guess the whole episode got me invested in the story.
I am an optimist to the end. Because of this, my favorite episode has to be T'Challa as Star Lord. Second favorite is Episode 1. Everyone else can like what they like, these are just what I like. BTW, love the breakdowns!
There are 3 constants and absolutes: 1) Hank Pym will doom the Avengers one way or another. 2) The Cape will always save the day 3) Vision and Wanda's love life will always be in peril.
Well, they showed that the mind stone kept the zombies away. All they gotta do is find a way to use it on that frequency and make thanos put the gauntlet down then they can snap everything okay at that point.
Episode 2 has been my favorite so far. I feel like the story hit all the right notes of action/comedy/drama. Not to mention hearing Chadwick Boseman again & the performance from Karen Gillan as "emotionally-stable" Nebula was outstanding. for me that will be the one to beat!
Hard agree with Rob here, Episode 4 is still the strongest thus far. I will say, this episode was tons of fun and I don't know man, hearing Boseman's voice, repeating those lines, I get misty eyed. What an absolute unit of a human being.
Since we've seen shots in the trailer of a sort of multiversal Avengers team with some of the heroes we've seen already and some that we haven't so the finale is gonna probably be Uatu bringing the people we've seen together to fight the Vision-Ultron mix with the Infinity Stones. The other heroes were missing are Killmonger, Party Thor and what I've been calling Super Gamora. That gives us the last 4 episodes with the last one being the big time fight against Vis-tron.
In the original Marvel Zombies comic, Thor is seen using a makeshift Mjolnir made of concrete with a rebar handle because becoming a flesh-eating zombie made him unworthy, so I imagine MCU Thor would run into a similar problem, where he wouldn't be worthy, and would have to improvise.
The fact that hulk can't get infected but he did give them time to get away means that he is still out there which is a prelude to a second episode to the zombies
Vision's scene with him setting up a safe zone where he was keeping what was left of Wanda alive is a great nod back to Wandavision

Favorite episode was T’Challa Star lord. Everything about it was amazing. Not to mention bringing back Howard the Duck was awesome

Strange is my favorite as well. It's the only one without too much comedic levity which is a nice departure from the others and alot of the MCU films.

Kinda… if Bruce Banner/Hulk fled the siege on the Asgardian ship, Thanos sent his children (the black order/ whatever they are called) to get two of the remaining stones. The question is; since Ebony Maw failed to get the Time Stone from Strange (they get eaten, remember) HOW did Thanos get the Time Stone?!

In terms of Zombie movies, Episode 5 did an amazing job.

I was so happy when Spider-man referenced Uncle Ben in this episode. I just wished he does it in live action Tom Holland Spider-man movies
After how crazy these last two episodes went I’m very curious on how Tony v Killmonger is gonna play out. They gonna fuck around and have Stark pull up in a White Wolf inspired suit and make Okoye be a Skrull.

Its one of the better episodes ive seen so far. Because for many years ive been waiting for them to make a Marvel Zombies. I really want the MCU to make a live action Marvel Zombies movie.

I loved that Danai Guerrera was in this episode. She got to basically play Michonne from the walking dead all over again.
The moment it started at the infinity war point I had that itch in the back of my mind like "Where TF is Thanos?".
Thor was in the process of obtaining Stormbreaker since this was during infinity war, He will most likely arrive at the start of the next part of this story. Hopefully we get to see Thanos POV before that, fighting zombie Strange for the time stone.
Doesn't Thanos have almost impervious skin, if so how the hell did he manage to get infected?

I mean tony was able to cut Thanos in their fight on titan. I don’t see it being hard for a mob of zombies swarming him to at least cut him.
Probably got scratched by something and virus got in. My question is how it got off the planet. Just from what we've seen of the universe that planet would have been quarantined or just disintegrated immediately.
I have a wild head canon theory: Janet caught the virus after running into Kang in the quantum realm within Chronopolis, the virus being something Kang was researching , originating somewhere in the multiverse
So, would that mean that Janet met Kang in the quantum realm in the main MCU timeline?

This episode was an amazing couple of acts without a climax. I hope they revisit this universe soon and give us a conclusion.
I feel like this episode was a great homage to the actual marvel zombies comics! The fact that amongst this chaos, there were still humorous and humanizing moments is practically marvel zombies’ signature!
Not to mention the small nods to the comics:
-viz slowly feeding t’challa to save wanda is like when Hank slowly ate t’challa as he looked for a cure
-the fact that the main avengers team was basically zombified right away
-and when thanos showed up with the infinity gauntlet at wakanda it reminded me of when wakanda was the safe-haven in the comics
Thee way too many stupid unnecessary “heroic” sacrifices this episode. Also some continuity and just dumb moments with the characters that could have prevented some conflict. But overall it was a cool episode.

I think What If is doing a good job making the transition between Infinity Saga films smother by taking inspiration from multiple films In each episode further solidifying the established canon while also telling an alternative narrative.
The Black panther , star lord episode was my favorite and it was extremely funny and to see the collectors real strength was dope as well as seeing thanos team up with the good guys
This episode was so sad. It could never be a released film. Its too depressing.

The ONE singular scene of watching Bucky versus Cap with Bucky telling Cap its the "end of the line" after he cuts ✂️ him in half with his own shield 🛡 shuts down his infinity war argument. Mind you, I didn't even mention Vision actually trapping other living people, specifically other AVENGERS, so he can FEED them to Wanda. One of these Avengers being T'Challa who we watched a couple of episodes ago convince Thanos to abandon he's universal genocidal quest to join his team as an underling. This same T'Challa couldn't convince Vision, a being who is based on logic, that what he was doing is wrong. Vision's response when confronted by other heroes is to SACRIFICE himself by ripping the mind stone OUT OF HIS OWN HEAD. Dude, grown men and women would have nightmares, not to mention children. 🙄 I respect everyone's opinion but tge comparison isn't even close.
I hope we get a part 2 next week. The Marvel Zombies is the only reason I was interested in this series.

Funny enough, Zombie Hank Pym kept T’Challa locked up so he could take bits of him for a snack in the comics.
I have to vote for zombies as the top episode -- it's the only one so far that has left me wanting more. Dr Strange episode was really good, but wrapped itself up, so I don't see any more story there, but if there was, I definitely want to see it. Keep up the good work!

One thing that disappointed me was the fact the zombified heroes didn't really talk or anything, one thing that gave me chills reading the comics was seeing decayed, dead heroes yelling out "THE HUNGERRRRR" and literally tearing someone's limbs apart.
Just realized that Dr. Strange universe didn’t end because he absorbed abundant of monster or that he abuse the time stone. It ended when he tried to change fate.
Had Strange focused on reviving her instead of preventing her death, he had a chance at success with no universe ending consequences.
I agree, episode 4 is still the best so far. I cried a little at the end. A cartoon made me cry...I guess the whole episode got me invested in the story.
I am an optimist to the end. Because of this, my favorite episode has to be T'Challa as Star Lord. Second favorite is Episode 1. Everyone else can like what they like, these are just what I like. BTW, love the breakdowns!
There are 3 constants and absolutes:
1) Hank Pym will doom the Avengers one way or another.
2) The Cape will always save the day
3) Vision and Wanda's love life will always be in peril.

Well, they showed that the mind stone kept the zombies away. All they gotta do is find a way to use it on that frequency and make thanos put the gauntlet down then they can snap everything okay at that point.
Episode 2 has been my favorite so far.
I feel like the story hit all the right notes of action/comedy/drama.
Not to mention hearing Chadwick Boseman again & the performance
from Karen Gillan as "emotionally-stable" Nebula was outstanding.
for me that will be the one to beat!

Hard agree with Rob here, Episode 4 is still the strongest thus far. I will say, this episode was tons of fun and I don't know man, hearing Boseman's voice, repeating those lines, I get misty eyed. What an absolute unit of a human being.

I got Kirkman to sign my first print copies of Marvel Zombies a while ago. Digging the series!
Since we've seen shots in the trailer of a sort of multiversal Avengers team with some of the heroes we've seen already and some that we haven't so the finale is gonna probably be Uatu bringing the people we've seen together to fight the Vision-Ultron mix with the Infinity Stones. The other heroes were missing are Killmonger, Party Thor and what I've been calling Super Gamora. That gives us the last 4 episodes with the last one being the big time fight against Vis-tron.

In the original Marvel Zombies comic, Thor is seen using a makeshift Mjolnir made of concrete with a rebar handle because becoming a flesh-eating zombie made him unworthy, so I imagine MCU Thor would run into a similar problem, where he wouldn't be worthy, and would have to improvise.
A mojor plothole i saw was how the hell did thanos get the time stone, aside from that i loved it tho
The fact that hulk can't get infected but he did give them time to get away means that he is still out there which is a prelude to a second episode to the zombies
