Your trick helped me out, i found out you don't need to do the mist transformation you just need the potions and the push cirle right after the transformation back into Alucard

I just did it, it's pretty easy to walk through the door, then just mash R2 to go into bat form. Alucard will do it quickly enough.

You're supposed to run through this with spike breaker armor but this vid is just a trick on how to do it without it. Basically you'll need to transform back to alucard and use a potion so he can open the door without having to take damage from the spikes.

This doesn't work in the PSP version in DXC, because you aren't allowed to go from Bat to Mist like that, since to go to Mist, its R + L so the game just doesn't let you auto turn, you either go to Wolf or just change back to Alucard, then to Mist, so its impossible to get through here without the Spike Breaker in that version.

It's not impossible, just use mist all the time so you fly and pass through the first gate of the hall

@@angelbless45 You just need the "power of the mist" which is located below final boss of the original castle. Then you can mist your way for the first half, and do the other normally (Bat > instant use of healing item)

Nemesis Just go up to the blue door, turn into mist form if you’re not already. Turn back to Alucart, and as soon as you do take a healing potion. Just tried there and it worked fine.

using a potion grants alucard a few seconds of invincibility, so even spikes won't deal damage, you use that few seconds to go through the sealed door.

I skipped this and just beat Richter. One you have the double AND high jump it's laughably easy to keep jumping over him and land a hit from behind on the way down.
